It was in a bag of misc. Crosman parts and it came in handy when I changed out plastic 2240 reciever thinking the Cothran reciever was the ticket. But much to my dismay... hence this post.

I think intention is the key here. It is not legal to adjust your butt pad to allow it to rest on your knee or thigh. It is perfectly legal to bring your knee up to support the rifle. If it wasn't, we wouldn't have adjustable hamsters hanging off the front of our rifles.

LOL, I feel your pain. I haven't been out to shoot in 5 weeks, it's either to cold or the snow is so deep I can't get to my range even with a 4-wheeler (range is way off the grid) but, this is what winter should be. Makes you appreciate spring and summer that much more.

I did think of that but from my end it's parrallel the photo just doesn't show it properly.

A TM / BM trigger is exactly the same parts but the safety lever is omitted for these Competition gun applications.

A HM if X or otherwise is the same, so remove side cover, pull safety lever off post leaving the lever spring in place and there you have it.

If the water is filled correctly and no air pockets these compressors really do not get that hot.

When I test them, they are ran close to a constant 3800psi for at least 20 minutes and in that time they really stabilize their temps.

My only guess is the airsoft crowd doesn't like the fill speed... they buy a lot of these, and other compressors. They will take their large tanks down to a couple hundred pounds before a refill. The K5-1 or 2 would make much more sense for them.

The limit is endless, completely screwed down and it will never vent. If you're using 3600psi max, set it to start venting just above that, say 3800... and it will keep your pressure from getting way to high. You'll still have the burst disk protection as well, but that will be significantly higher as the compressor is designed for 4500psi use

I do agree wholeheartedly for LRF. However, I have to respectfully disagree with you on the digital scopes. I have not found a digital scope, which could rival a Swarovski or Zeiss (or Kahles or …). Their views become pixelated when zoomed in.

Unfortunately, Swarovski/Zeiss/… don’t have a scope with a range finder for air gunning (the Swarovski dS has an integrated range finder but its parallax correction starts from 50 meters).

Thats why I use 280 fpe pcp with 150gr at 50-180 yards. Heart and lung shot.

Sorry for stating the obvious but “they are worth as much as you are willing to pay for them”

However, looking at those prices, Alpha Wolf Performance seems a real bargain to me

I used a dollar store baby bottle brush in my .357 Challenger. Just clipped off the handle and slid the rest in the air tube. Has worked great.

Just call there 1800 number you will prob talk to rachel..IF your gun is new it will be warranty. In a week you will get new valve piece and be back in action.

Should be because your reg is low.

I don't have Panthera nor DRS. But I have wildcat mk3 bt, more or less a Maverick on wildcat stock with 700mm heavy liner, reg at 155 bar and I'm using the 12g hammer weight with the preload at max (until the gun won't cock) and then give it a full turn in (easing the hammer strike).

It can push the 22gr Zan at about 1000 fps and I tried to turn up the reg to 165 bar and it can push the 24gr slug close to 1000 fps. Although the ideal speed of the 24gr seems to shoot best at about 950 fps or lower on my gun. The 20.5gr NSA likes a variety of speed, but the best result I got is at 1011 fps. However, running the gun that hot, the shot count sucks and you may not want this set up for everyday use. Unless you want slugs with no hollow point, such as the 24gr and 22gr Zans.

But shooting 16gr at 118 bar sounds like a sweet, efficient setup. And for 177, 16gr seems to be a great weight for most occasions.

I suspect your gun might come with a lighter hammer weight that comes with 177 cal. So if you want to reg up, you can try the 11g hammer weight first. Or adding additional hammer weight from FX which is about 1g to your current setup or buying the huma air stiffer spring would give you a lot of configurations that you play with.

But damn.... The DRS and the Panthera sure sound extremely efficient and powerful. You should be able to shoot 24gr Zan supersonic.

My Davv sc30 (yong heng style) has become just a heavy burden. It needs a rebuild and I won't do it. Just going to the curb like the last one and see if anyone wants the scrap.

I was just typing a response when I was notified of the response. But, yeah very likely it was the wrong size breech ring. Either a .22, or some off brand "close enough" size. They use proprietary sizes or oddball extremely specific sizes on some parts and it can damn near impossible to tell them apart from eyeballing one that's "close enough". Also whoever said Amazon kit orings can be incorrectly sized, mislabeled, or differing duro than claimed is 100% on point. Glad you got the real ones. Imagine it'll work

I haven't changed anything from what Devin had it set at, it's pushing a JSB 25.39 at 814 to 825fps it's been so cold I haven't been able to do any adjustments but for the distance and what I'm shooting its working for me.
