Well I have nothing good to say about slip on lids.

Don’t know the V3 trigger but the U2 trigger - after adjustment - is very light. I’d imagine that Derrick can set the trigger up for exactly to your liking.I have a hand disability, what's the trigger like on that and potential lowest weight?
I'm talking about the fellow shooter, LOL.Xtra $$$$$$$$$$$$ an the fellow shooter is supposed to be ready to do that for you
Do you know who did it on here that I could get info from?
It's likely your U2 .30 blew the o-ring that sits on the shoulder of the poppet part of the valve. It's a VERY common issue with the U2s. The latest poppets don't break any longer but the o-rings still break. You have to disassemble the rifle about 50% to get he valve out on the U2 (U3 made access to the valve with no disassembly). After getting the U2 30 I was so impressed with the out of box performance that I bought a U2 25 within one week. Unfortunately 2 days before the arrival of the 25 the 30 blew its cork. Not sure what it is so it went back. Checked the valve and replaced the breech o-ring. Might be the regulator. I’m not disillusioned, things happen. In the meantime I’m happy plinking away withe the 25. I’m going to call AVS to get slug recommendations. Not spending altaros money and I might try Zam’s once I know the optimum diameter. Considering selling my fx’s and AEA’s Getting a little tired of tuning and tuning and tuning. So far the u2’s shoot almost anything from Jsb and Aea from very well to pellet on pellet @ 50 yrds. I’m also going to keep my 2 25cal Hubens.
It’s time to cull the heard as they say.
At central Carolina Grand PrixLol no. From what I could tell, they had used a really long piece of maybe 1/2" wide webbing and thrown it over a limb as high as they could and then hoisted it up and tied off the webbing. Kinda seems like they had another piece of webbing tied to one corner of the bell target and they tied that off going the other direction, to minimize rotation and swinging around.
This was a bell target built on a wooden frame.
Try Eric Sanders of scope works. I suspect he can make a wheel with proper offset.I recently purchased a very nice TX200 MkIII with a Sightron S-TAC 4-20x50 scope from a fellow AGN member. The rifle works flawlessly and is very accurate. The only issue is the scope isn’t level with the rifle. This would be an easy fix if it weren’t for the parallax wheel. When level, the wheel interferes with the gun’s stock. I‘m primarily a small game hunter but I was hoping to give Field Target a try in the Spring, so accuracy matters.
I’m hoping people with more experience could layout some options. Here are the ones I can think of:
1) Buy a smaller wheel. The one that came with the sale has a 5” diameter. I think a 4” wheel would do the trick.
2) Carve a chunk out of the stock to provide clearance to the wheel. This is NOT an option for me. This rifle is way to nice to do that.
3) Do they make parallax knob extenders? I figure moving the wheel out 1/4” would do the trick.
4) Rotate the scope out-of-level to avoid the interference.
5) Other…Is there a simple fix to this situation that I’m just not seeing?View attachment 541410
The seer bar can get a light coating of axle grease at the contact point but the threads should be clean and have a drop of removable lock-tite or vibratite on them.should i lube the stainless pin's with dry lube or something
Will the 500mm barrel still shoot hybrid slugs well? I know the liner will just wondering about the length. Really considering getting one of the drs tactical compacts. All standard superior FX liners in .25cal can and will shoot up to 34 grain slugs. It has been proven on here by myself and many many more, and also goes along with what FX states about their standard superior liner.
Sweet!I can hook you up when things get warmer. I know you have Lewis old Timahawk. ..
SSG is a "Spring Stopping Guide" which is for most a self made anti-hammer bounce devisePardon my ignorance, but can you explain what these are?
I agree hopefully some one with more knowledge will chime in on the v3ok maybe you can back off the power wheel a turn so the hammer spring will have less preload but if it were me id figure out how to adjust the regulator someone on this forum knows all about that v3 regulator you got
