Altaros  Issues with Altaros regulator

My best guess is the valve seat is compromised in some way. Something like a bit of debris pinched in the seat or a hairline scratch, causing a scenario where the seat attempts to pinch closed in the normal fashion, but cannot seal 100% so air continues to weep very slowly past/through this imperfection.

I couldn't find a good picture or exploded view of an Altaros regulator but if you can post one, I can direct you more precisely where to look.
Yeah I understand what you are saying. Sadly I don't think I can find or get any image of an exploded altaros regulator.

Pyramid Air 10 for $10, and the PCP 24 Hr Leak service?

The leaky ghost I speak of (not from PA) was shipped with a very nice 10s shot string that was obviously BS.

I would prefer the vendor keep its fictional shot string and simply air it the day before shipping and verify leak status before throwing it out the door. I would also prefer the vendor to give a return (and I was polite about the problem) and repair priority over shipping more crap.

Air Arms  TX200 Rekord trigger or Tx trigger ??

I have worked on both triggers, stoned sears, adjusted, etc. I prefer the CD trigger. I have found it easier to adjust to the 8-12oz range. I have found the Rekord triggers more finicky in this range. The Rekord sears are better quality, but the CD cage is better quality than the Rekord. The CD trigger unit is easier to disassemble and reassemble. Despite the differences, they are both excellent trigger units!

I blame Ralpie from Christmas Story

Honest here ! i almost shot my fathers eye , missed buy an inch , It was with a sling shot i had just made , luckily only with newspaper rubber bands so not powerful . Boy did i learn a lesson that day ! Dad took me outside with a .410 shotgun and i blew bottles apart till my arms were to tired to hold the gun up
Then he made me pick up all those pieces ,every one of them .. I was 8 years old . i was 38 when this movie first released .
I hear ya, I never grew up with any Elf on the shelf but, I certainly knew of the Belt On The Shelf? ;):ROFLMAO:

FX  Where to find a Barrel band?? i need a barrel band for my dreamline lite with 700cc carbon bottle.

Don't think so. Plenum Air is just air that's at regulator pressure, post regulated reserve air. The valve dwell has more to do with the hammer stroke. I think it's more of an issue of aesthetics. Typically one plenum is fine. I just use two because I want to be sure I can get every bit of power available to me. I haven't seen much different between one or two. That's a good bit longer and would position your tank further forward. You asked if it would work, which, yeah, it would.
yes- the guy from channel 910 gun repairs or something like that tested 1 and 2 plenums on his dreamline and showed the fps.. the second plenum did not change much but it did give 15-25fps (20fps on average) increase over 1 plenum only..

so for some this would be only 20fps and other as much as 20fps..

depends on what you're chasing but i will use 2 because the 20fsp extra might just do the trick with some slugs between working and not working..

good that i bought a pocket chrony from fx few years back- i will finally put it to good use besides just measuring fps of my crossbow arrows.

Digital scopes (not thermal) with or without LRF

I have a x-sight 5 lrf 3-15 model mounted to my night pesting rig. Overall it has worked well for this application and ballistic calculations have been spot on for me. It does have some quirks though. The user interface is slow to navigate, and its missing quite a few settings that would greatly improve its overall function. For instance, after turning off the optic, the ballistic calculator defaults to its disabled state upon powering up the device. The user must remember to re-enable the ballistic calculator in order for it to function, and this task probably takes a good 10-15 seconds to accomplish. I don’t understand how the designers failed to create a startup function in which the user can quickly enable the ballistic calculations and pick the profile they wish to load, or just have the optic default to a user specified profile upon startup. Another example is the time it takes to grab a lrf reading and update the point of aim. After pressing the range button the lrf begins taking readings that last for at least 5-7 seconds, during which time the reticle is replaced with an lrf aiming rectangle. Pressing the range button again, does not stop the process, it must be allowed to finish. The lrf seems to display the measured range quickly (2 seconds) and then just keeps ranging needlessly for an extended amount of time. It would be nice if ATN included a user setting that would allow the user to select the desired duration of the ranging process. What is your buddy planning on using this optic for?
It was a X-mas gift. He gave no indication to his wife, friends or family that he wanted one. And as I said in my original post, he is not a tech savvy individual. He would have a terrible time trying to learn this and remember how to use it. I told him to return it, which he did

EDgun  Adjustable butt stock option for EDgun Leshiy ?

Norm as far as I know no such product exists. Unfortunate as I think the Leshiy2 needs it as much or more than the Leshiy Classic which of course had options from Carm as well as one from a Russian hobbyist.

I actually think that it would be pretty easy to do without blocking the gauge or the fill port knob. With the typical bottom tube arrangement one could probably make something that would clamp to the lower tube pretty easily and not increase the length of pull at all. Probably wouldn't be too bad with a bottle either but I'm not sure if all the bottles have the same neck diameter.

For what it is worth, I suspect that decreasing the length of pull on an L2 would make the lack of drop at the shoulder more comfortable. I have an adjustable stock on my Marauder Pistol and when I shorten the LOP I find it more comfortable to turn my shoulder in and up, if that makes sense.

I ordered some shorter upper air tubes from the Spanish site to experiment with this myself on my L2. I find the length of pull with the REPR plenum and stock upper air tube to be a bit long.

Daystate  Delta / Alpha wolf misleading marketing or?

Well yes and no. The performance is a beast in power. If I load it witha 10.44g pellet and set in factory set 13.42g it gives me over 1050ps and will not adjust. It can only adjust within 100fps
Drop reg pressure and try that. If it’s giving you 1050 out the gate the reg is too high for that pellet. I believe there is a path to what you want to achieve with a little experimentation. I do agree you would think more factory presets would be in there.

Skout  Tight Epoch barrel!

Just to update this Skout sent me another barrel which was slightly better but still had a very tight breach and choke with a slightly easier bit in the middle, and it was no more accurate than the original, and after talking to Keith at Skout he informed me that they are all tight!

So I have now decided to obtain another barrel blank, but I can only get 30mm shorter so will need to get a longer barrel clamp nut made up, I am going to go for a Lowther Walther barrel and hope it's more accurate.

I suspect that the main problem is that this gun is designed for the unconstrained power market and limiting does it no favours, I think the HP regulator is much happier at higher pressures and doesn't do well using lower pressures that sub 12 or similar require, the same applies to the barrels they are really designed around high power however I am still a bit perturbed by the amount of distortion the tight barrels impress into the pellet hence the barrel change.

FX  Tested my latest project on my M3

There is no greater feeling then when a part you machined yourself works as planned on your airgun. Then there’s the satisfaction knowing you’re the only one who has it.
I can't agree more. I'm curious on the design but admin gets their knickers in a twist when we discuss that stuff. I've been playing with that area and can't bounce any ideas off the group because of Agn's aversion to it.

SSP 10 meter rifle… is the grass really greener?

I read that somewhere about the million shots. Nice collection of rifles. I replied to a for sale ad not long ago for a Jr. Never got a reply.
That sucks, disrespectful...just lost out to a LGV that I was really hoping to get. Went days with out getting back to me, then when he did he didn't tell me where to send payment. Waiting for return message he sells to someone else.
