Other  Reximex RP trouble

Took my intermittently leaking rpa apart the other night to see what makes it tick.
Nothing noticeable but have to do again , this time replacing o rings.View attachment 547681View attachment 547682

can you spot where exactly does that leak air from ?

because the air-tube connection to regulator has a very very intricate design, and that is the place most prone to damage o-rings.

there must be a vertical hole on the tip of the regulator, where it goes into the air tube.
if that hole has some sharp edges, it might have damaged the internal o-ring, just enough to leak intermittently.

(when we are talking about o-rings in these kind of intricate designs, in such small geometries, carrying those kind of pressures; even tiny micro-scratches might matter.)

Beeman  More .20 R-9 pellet info

I've got a pretty good supply of those. They're good shooters.
They're stupid expensive. I have a tin I bought to try on pests in lieu of wadcutters. Never used but a few of them for accuracy testing. Very accurate pellet in my rifles

Dar Gen 3 leaks

from what I have seen working on this gun once you get to about 100psi nothing moves I think the orings push to the side and grip it will be free to flex back and fourth air pressure hits it goes rigid I checked all the fit diameters and bores and there is about .007 interference for the orings. Im a retired machinist and I myself would give them twice that and see if you can get it together you can always remove material it complicates things that mid section that the gauge screws into is so short so it flops around I had this gun apart many times thats the only place I had leaks . My first pcp I have had several spring guns I will be getting another pcp very fun to shoot. Yes the dar gen 3 looks very similar to the Airacuda

Hunting with a Kalibrgun Cricket

I am really looking hard at the Kalibrgun Cricket 60 in 30 Caliber and was wondering if anyone has been hunting with one.....Crows, woodchucks or anything for that matter and if so, how do you like it, carrying weight, accuracy, holding zero, etc.
Thanks
The only thing you have to "worry" with these guns is the weight. Other than that they shoot amazing in all calibers and all models.

New caller (video)...no coyote but called in an owl :-)

When I used to coyote hunt and call a lot Ive had owls almost take my hat off a couple times. Scares the crap out of you cause usually dont see or hear anything until they brush by you. This was using mouth calls, have had Grey fox almost run up in my lap also.
That will get your blood pumping!

My top 3 moderators from best to least are below.

STO Sarissa
STO Falx/IA-1350 with 2 additional baffles

STO does a great job but with the Falx andIA-1350 it’s tough to pick which one is better. It sounds like they reduce the noise the same but the pitch is different. On my Maverick and Panthera Hunter Compact, the Falx has more of a thump with air compared to the IA-1350 which sounds more like a snap/slap. I think it’ll vary person by person to choose which one is louder.

Field testing Epoch Compact started

Nice gun and great shooting ................................. If it was mine i would put wood grips and check rest on , but as a hunter no wood .
The grip has side panels that slide in. They would look sweet in wood. But that’s not popular with all the Buck Rodger guns nowadays.
