thanks, i've been trying to inform myself about casting routines and what to watch out for and also what causes what problems, so it was too much of an trial and error process for myself. with the hollowpoints i was actually quite surprized that they dropped so easy. i was expecting worse.

for now i have mostly used lead from recycled projectiles, so the amounts are not that much at this point. i feel powder coating makes more sense when doing it for bigger quantities, so maybe at a later point, when i make a huge batch of ammo. but thanks for the hint.

UPDATE:
I had bought a Saber Tac benchrest monopod last year for the PA cup and wanted to see if I could adapt it to work on my EVO w/ skeletonized butt stock that is narrower at the bottom than the top. Here’s the result: STac uses M5 socket head cap screws that recess into the stock mounted piece. (hard to find)
I found the M4-0.7 pan head is small enough to fit in the recess.Use a 60mm screw on top and a 50mm on the lower mount point. Put a couple washers between the stock and the lower mount point to get the adapter vertical. Nylocks and M4&M5 washers under them span the gaps.









Also, add M4 washers under the cap head in the recess as necessary to minimize the screw protrusion past the Nylocks

I’ll offer that the Weihrauch factory reg pressure for 12 ft/lb HW100 and HW110s:

100bar for .177
90bar for .22

Yes, that’s correct. At a fixed 12 ft/lbs, the .22s have a reg pressure set slightly lower than .177s.

You can probably find a nice 11 to 12 ft/lb tune with the reg pressure anywhere from 80 to 100 bar with your .177.

I know of a neighbor who took down a chicken egg laying barn for a name brand producer and got the barn for free. This is like a big hoop green house about 300 ft long. Shoot in one half and grow veggies in the other half. Mark

Europeairguns is based in Tenerife (island along Africa coast) with some warehouses somewhere over Spain and yes I have ordered parts from them in the past. Overall impression is very positive. They usually have critical parts FX dealers don't stock.

Hi, just ordered an RTI
P 3 in 30 caliber for the sole purpose of shooting coyotes .What weight slug is best for this gun? Should I go light or a little on the heavy side? Thanks in advance.

Not sure which one of your topics to reply to but if the P3 is still using the same LW barrel they’ve been using for years, I wish you luck with slugs. My P2 showed a little hope with Hybrids 885-890fps. But nothing I tested at speeds from 880-960fps made me keep the barrel on the gun. That barrel is now collecting dust until I find a use for it. I wasn’t even thrilled with how it shot pellets.

2025 INVICTA First match of the season!

The threat of cold weather seems to have kept some of the usual suspects from making it out to the match, however six handsome, brave and strong shooters made it out for a very pleasant, if quite windy first match of the season!

Temperatures were brisk to start, however by the time the match started it was warm enough I left my winter coat in the car, unfortunately I also left my favorite jean jacket AKA my shooting coat in my shop…. So expectations were low for me, that along with a boo boo on my elbow meant force positions would be painful today.

Matt Judd came out to play and once again got the top score, but promised it wouldn't happen again, as he was officially swapping over to World Class, and predicts lower future scores…. We shall see!

Matt also hosts silhouette matches in Columbia TN, and his season starts in April, on the third Saturday of the month, I will get some more information and pass it on to you guys, or better yet, let me know if you are interested!

Our next match is March 22nd, I hope the weather is favorable for us, and I look forward to seeing more of you there! On a related note, we have many folks on the email list, but some we never see, so if you want to be removed from this email list, just let me know.

I took that plastic front sight off so no moderator. Pretty quiet as is.

30.2gr .087 at 963fps 63º the 49.2 is the same.

Measured with my FX True Ballistic at 25 yards. Did it a bunch of times and days, to verify, comes up the same every time..

Dog , been there done that, have the wraps ,slings,heating & cooling packs to show for it . After both hips & shoulders along w/ both knees 'scoped a couple times , you can become quite inventive / adventuresome during recovery. I switched cocking levers & bolts before upcoming surgeries to accommodate "group therapy". Hope your recovery is speedy and successful .

No idea but it has crossed my mind as well at one point or another. Maybe if you shot round ball so that your projectiles could roll like BBs it would simplify your options. I mention that because I shoot .360 round ball out of mine. Obviously I'm not going for any kind of accuracy here ha ha

With the Ozark the main issues I had were:

• trigger

Not adjustable. Have to replace 2 triggre springs to make it lighter

• noise

The shroud is fake since no air gets in there.
I had to add my own shroud.
It does come with a 1/2-20 adapter and 1/2-20 threaded barrel.

• hammer spring assembly

The hammer spring comes as part of a twin spring system (TSS).
It is impossible to replace the spring.
RIght now, I use the weaker spring because the stronger spring is way too much.
I would like to get a spring in the middle, but I cannot because I cannot replace the spring.

There are other $400 PCPs which are better: Umarex Zelos, Stoeger Bullshark, etc
