Niksan  Niksan Ozark mods and impressions

Niksan in its wisdom decided to not have a standard hammer spring.

They deviced something that looks like a TSS (twin spring system).
The TSS has a very limited adjustment range.
The TSS comes as a single assembly which seems to be impossible to take apart and change the spring.

DonnyFL (the importer and distributor) in its wisdom decided to replace the original TSS with a much heavier spring.
The DonnyFL TSS will give one magazine worth of useable shots (descending shot string), with the spread between shot 1 and 12 of about 35-40FPS.

I do not think that DonnyFL shoots the airguns he sells.
It may be that DonnyFL rarely shoots airguns.

FX  FX always stands with its customers, manufacturing fault

I think you’ve nailed it there, based on my experience, most products produced after COVID from autos to airguns are substandard to items produced pre-pandemic.
Maybe
Just maybe
Lighting up that doober on the drive to work, and then finishing it off during the lunch break could have something to do with it

just my toke on it

Pellet question

I find it's hard to generalize pellet brand preference even for similar guns. My P35-177 likes H&N Baracuda Match more than any JSB I've tried. It shot a tin of Crosman 10.5 almost as well but the next 2 tins were terrible.

My P35-22 strongly prefers H&N Baracuda Match and had given me a 200 on the 30 yard challenge with them. My Stoeger Bullshark strongly prefers JSB 18s and has given me a 198, so far. My Bullshark also gave me a 194 with Crosman domed, one of the best scores with Crosmans.

My P35-25s are split. One of three barrels prefers H&N Baracudas and the other 2 barrels prefer JSB. The most accurate (198) likes JSB.

Unfortunately my experience is you have to shoot a variety of pellets and let the gun decide. I have a JTS sampler on the way for the P35-177. It has the lowest "best" score at 196.

FX  Impact M4 pressure drop

My almost unused M4 is loosing around 40bar - from 250 to a bit more than 200bar in 24 hours. Is there a way I can check myself what's going on or do I need to send it back?
TIA
Yes. few differnet things u can do. Put a ballon over the barrel to see if it is leaking down the barrel as it will implode the ballon, second thing u can do is fill up a spray bottle with soapy solution and spray it down.. loosing 40bar in 24 hour u will find it. Or just send it in for warr service

WEİHRAUCH HW98 .177

There's two different 26mm piston seal designs that Weihrauch uses in their guns and sells as replacements. I don't believe there's different part numbers as they are both interchangeable. Weihrauch has randomly flip flopped between them over the years. One is the one you pictured with the thick lip and the other has a thinner lip. They both work well enough. My gut tells me Weihrauch has two different seal suppliers.
The important part is you got a decent correct seal.

Daystate  Blackwolf information

Thanks for the info! A site in the UK listed the 17” chassis rifle at 6.4lb. This was mainly why I was interested in it. In actuality, it’s not any lighter than my RAW in a saber chassis. I think I will just be sticking with my RAW at this point.

Thanks again!
That weight is chassis only

Hatsan  Hatsan Hercules 666 PCP Air Rifle Recommendation

Factor is an updated design. Hercules is a dated design. I've seen a few reviews and the Factor is well liked. But it is, as you noted, much larger.

We only have the Hercules Bully here in the US. Which is a higher power version of the Hercules.

You may want to look at the Reximex Throne 2 bullpup. Really well reviewed and very good pricing.

Macavity Arms  Macavity MA2 issues

Yep got mine back they put a upgraded barrel in it I asked many times did you check the reg question avoided get it back shoots great reg starts to creep so I pull it apart find tons of aluminum shavings in the reg emailed them told them to send me a new reg or new gun but I wasn’t sending anything back until I had something on my hands so now I wait on a new gun it’s not rocket science when a gun shoots different groups at different tank pressures it’s not a barrel issue

FX  Help me decide

IMO, there’s no one gun that will be successful in all of those scenarios, at least no without buying extra barrels and accessories. My suggestion is a RAW BM500 for 25/50 yd competition in .177 cal. For 75/100, that’s open to many options. FX Impact, Red Panda, Skout, RAW HM1000x, FX Panthera or King (same platform), Ghost, you name it in .30 cal,. There is no one tool does it all and does it well. Regardless of what you choose, it’s up to you to make it work. Check out the BR match results and see what the top shooters are using.

Skout  New Skout Epoch Questions

Definitely grateful for the upgrades. Worked with Darryl on the purchase. Great sales experience.

I was just confused after looking over the manual as well as watching YT vids. All clear now.
Skout has changed alot since they started in 2022 about...they just keep improving everything and they can make changes "in house" an implement them immediately. It's been really cool to watch over the last couple years. Improve , improve, improve!
