I can't stand my 2nd focal plane scope.
It's a decent scope, tracks well but for precision shooting you want a FFP imo. Unless you're zoomed in with the highest possible magnification, the reticle... at least on this scope... completely covers a 1/2" circle at 13 yards on low magnification. At 25 yards you wouldn't even see the damn target. So in order to get precision shots you have to use the max magnification and then you loose all your field of view so if you do insist on looking for a SFP scope find one with a fine reticle.
I should have focused on the bottom targets in the video but if you pause it at the 5 second mark you can see the bottom middle and bottom right targets. The bottom middle target was shot at high magnification and had 4 shots through the same hole, the 5th shot was a flyer and entirely my fault, my kitty came into my peripheral as I was pulling the trigger and I jerked it. The bottom right target was shot zoomed out and I was guessing where the damn target was, the reticle more than completely covered the target.
I have two other scopes, both FFP and love them, only reason I got this SFP scope was because it was only for backyard plinking and wanted to save a few bucks and I hate it.
To sum it up, I want a good field of view and still be able to be precise so First Focal Plane scope for me hands down.
