Umarex  Notos Magazine Problem/Issue

I'm surprised at all the hate for the Notos factory magazines. Is it mainly due to the low pellet count? I think the design is slick with the magnet built in to the bottom.
they just don't work well, I messed with the screw tension and got it to work better but still not as good as an aftermarket magazine, I have several Carm extra capacity mags and they work like a charm, I keep the stock one just for backup mags if I use up all my shots on the Carm's.

FX  Is the Crown Going Away?

I used to have a bunch of Crowns. Now only 2 - 1 each in .22 and .25. Most of the other ones have been sold to local friends who I got into airgunning. After trying out a Crown, they just had to have one.

I was wondering whether to keep or sell the last 2 I have. They don't get pulled from the gun rack often enough. But when they do they never disappoint. And if there is even the potential of FX discontinuing them, I will definitely keep them. Would not want to be 'Crownless'.

Yes, some of the less flashy FX guns (or maybe ones which don't have as good of a margin when FX sells them...?) may be going away. I've noticed that it is nearly impossible to get a Dreamline Classic with any wood stock these days (other than a LH GRS). Thankfully the DL Classic synthetic stock is darned good (and actually much better for field work, IMHO). To me the DRS definitely doesn't replace the Dreamline Classic, but that may be the way things go in the market. Glad I grabbed another DL Classic in .22 a few months back when Utah Airguns was having a great sale on them, with free shipping. Maybe the start of closing them out??? I won't be selling any more DL Classics off either.

It is funny how some guns may not be "the best" at everything, or anything. But on the other hand you don't want to be without them either. They are just comfortable.

Skout  New Skout Epoch COMPACT (17 inch LW Barrel on and EPOCH!) Video

Wait, you have a TR7? How is this possible? Those cars rusted out faster than a paper bag decomposes 😀 I wanted one so bad..
I got a survivor. Some guy combine that 76 with an 81 so it has a 5 speed. Hard top doesn't really leak so no rust. Great car. Just too noisy.

FX  FX CR0WN MK1

The idea is to put the complete regulating set, and try to eliminate or reduce the slippage. As I understand it, FX installed new regulators with brass plungers to solve the problem.
I believe this is the new regulator.

And this other one also seems to be for the same rifle, hence my doubt when purchasing the regulator and not wanting to make a mistake in the purchase.I stick to my initial questions because in all the online stores I have visited there is little information and what there is is not clear.
Original regulator - yes vs no
New regulator - which model
Huma regulator - yes vs no

What size groups at 55y with your WFTF rig?

When I shot WFTF PCP or more recent years Attempt it again.
 If i can stay on average @ 1" @50y I'm smiling & that even in my prime years was hard to do self supporting.
Now days ... No way in all honesty & why I continue to shoot Hunter PCP

Events  ASC FT Match is Saturday January 25

I haven't shot my AAFTA rig in a while so I put some shots down range today to validate it's ready for tomorrow. It's been shooting the 10.34g pellets for the last 2 years at 910fps with great reliability. Today it was WAY OFF!
I figured it was overdue for a rebuild. I bought the FX crown used and aside from re ringing the regulator, I haven't done anything but turn dials to keep it in tune.

I tore it down and fully resealed it today. Took my first shot and got low 800fps!

After checking the basics I though I should try another tin of pellets and bam....almost 1000fps! The cause was a defective tin of JSB pellets. The 10.34g pellets were over 13g!

I cracked open a fresh tin of 10.34s and re tuned for 910fps and it's almost right where it was before I disassembled everything, including removing the scope.

At least I know it's fresh and ready to go for the season now!

Benjamin  Is the only way to depressurize the Kratos to dry fire?

Loosen the fill nipple until it starts to hiss then stop. Let it drain. Don't completely remove. Should only take about a turn.
Sorry for this ridiculous question, but just to clarify and make sure I keep all of my fingers/eyes, the fill nipple is the bit that I attach the hose to, correct?

HW/Weihrauch  New TBT kit for the HW45?

Haven't shot mine enough to tell about anything. My intention was to shoot it this PM. I put some foam insulation on the back of the bullet trap to curb some of the tink sound as a pellet or worse, a 22 LR strike. After I take the tape off maybe I can get a few rounds through. I will clean it first. It is probably cleaned, from a reliable seller, it was. AOA. I have no light pellets in 177. Maybe I can find an old partial tin of RWS target pellets. Just for fun. Be Well Brothers, Bandito.
I got mine from AOA back in 2019, it was extremely dry, no worries about dieseling. It came with low power only, so I sent it back and they put both power levels in it. Came back that time just as dry. It’s weird to me to hear that some come with some grease in them. I did have to readjust the trigger which was much easier than I expected, probably the best one out of all of my springers.
