Oh wow. Thank you for the details. Will definitely look into getting out there.
I forgot to mention:

GX CS4

In my GX CS4-i, the discharge from the bleed valve is water with a bit of white grease from the grease cup. The only time I've experienced a black discharge from a compressor was when an o-ring in my Shoebox disintegrated. That was messy!

Do you have an external filter between your CS4-i and your tank? If so, the filter may provide more information on the black discharge.

JackHughs
I have just the CS4 not the i version. I do not have an external filter, I will be purchasing one soon. I do keep the bottle higher than the compressor to help water getting into the bottle.

I did figure that the greasy feeling in the water was from the grease cup lubrication.

FX  Fx Crown: Front power adjuster doesn´t work properly

Pard SA62 and Ocelot Thermal LRF Help

Understood, but this is to center the rangefinder correct? NOT the red laser dot to zero with the crosshairs. Does anyone know how to sync the red laser (push & hold menu toggles on/off) with already zeroed crosshairs?
Correct. I presume you adjust the red laser dot with the hex wrenches provided and the two hex screws on the laser pointer. I have not yet done this, thus my reason for presuming. I don't know why else they would include the tiny allen keys in the package if not for this purpose.

Snowpeak  Remington Vought

Last year I posted about the Vought, you can search for that if you want.

Basically the Vought is for a UK sub 12lb market only. The Remington name has been sold to an unknown, probably Chinese, entity. The Vought and the JTS Stealthhawk seem to be twins, like the M30b or c and the 250Z seem to be twins. Seems like I remember both Barra and JTS saying they aren't SPA snowpeak copies, but I'm not sure how that can be correct.

The 250z is available and probably your best bet. Real M30's are now pricey and seem to be sold only overseas. JTS never released the Stealthhawk. I heard FX sued or had issue with some other air around the barrel makers, even though the DRS came out around 5 years after the M30's. F FX, I hope that makes sense. So we are both up in the air if the Vought will ever leave the UK, but it looks like it won't.

If the Stealthhawk never makes it to market, and the funds somehow appear, I'll get the Barra, probably used, and try to shoot FT with it

Scott air bottles , and fill stations.

I now have my set up , and selling some extra bottles I have on the classifieds here plus pics.
I don't think any of these air compressors could blow up one of these tanks just not strong enough.
I'm only talking about the 4,500 compressors. My Vevor quit working just trying to fill a .5L bottle only made it to 3000.

Other  A.H Hartley Tiger 10 LE & Falcon Hawk FN-19

Rarely does a ground squirrel escape the fine accuracy delivered from my old .22 FN19 single-shot. In over three decades of use this rifle has accounted for the demise of literally thousands of various vermin. There may be modern rifles that are as accurate as my FN19..., but few that are more accurate.

Not only accurate... but beautiful, light, and DURABLE ...
Very fine airguns... I never understood why they weren't more popular...
We have an FN19 Raptor and an FN12 Hawk that could be in the last few to go if that were ever necessary...

Question about the Gx CS 2

I'mguessing you mean a change was made when they went from oil to no oil in the crankcase?

I looked at every picture i could find online of the current dry sump compressors, even ones advertised for sale, and they were all over the place, but the majority were blowing in.

I'm wondering if it matters???
Yes, it matters. The cylinder itself has been revised over the years. Some have holes in the side, some have the bottom of the cylinder open. Others have intake holes from behind the cylinder head. Cs3 has changed as well over time.

The cs2 and cs3, and the cs4 use a roller bearings, they do not need oil that has to be changed all the time.

FX V2 chronograph

You need to start by adjusting the sensitivity settings, then make sure it's reading for the correct speed window. Stability is also very important when firing .177, and sort of shake or wiggle of the barrel when the gun is firing will cause it to not pick up the round when entering the radar cone(narrow end at the unit). I use these almost every day at work and have experienced this issue with my .177 guns, regardless of power plant.
Thanks for the info!

Element Helix?

I own two Element Helix scopes. Both are sfp. But, one out classes the other! My 2x16x50 is the hdlr version. Stands for "high definition long range". Yes, that is marketing but the image quality and colors look amazing. The other is 6x24x50 and I would say average. The hdlr is very nice. Not so budget anymore and the illuminated reticle is not optional. I have only used it once for squirrels in low light but it is there and handy when needed. The turrets and zero stop have held up well to my abuse.

Hill EVO-310 Air Compressor

Hill, 3.5 years running and one service plus a o ring. Year round use. No problem indoors.

Yong heng, 2 rebuilds, a spare one in the crate, fair weather / part time use only, vibration that most women only dreamt about.

Hill, for me was money well spent, it's already paid for itself.
Warm inside all winter, shooting, not waiting for parts from china, missus and the neighbours can chat whilst hill is running.

A easy, peaceful life for me is worth the extra few bucks.

Element ballistics app: Any plans for update?

I love the app, however, a more current list of airgun projectiles is badly needed. Many of the manufacturers lists are missing calibers, a few manufactures of very popular pellets and slugs are missing, while others are simply missing some of their offerings, some are missing entire caliber lines.. are there any talks of updating the database or other features in the app itself?

FX  DRS Carbon Fiber Air Tube for Pre Sale

Just got one in 22.cal 600mm. It came shooting JSB's at 858fps, JSB 15.89 Hades at 904fps for about 60 shots. I had seen a video or 2 where they came from the factory shooting JSB 18'as at 915fps, which I knew wouldn't be 60 shots. t's a hair more power than I wanted, so I may tune it down next week. I am impressed with its weight though. Very light and easy to handle. I may buy another one when the carbon fiber airtime comes out. The bigger plenum will definitely bump up the shots per fill.

Hunting Rifle Help/Guidance

Little update: reached out to the state police and inquired about shrouds/baffles, and this was their response:

"Air rifles are regulated firearms in NJ, however, please see below firearm legal specifications that apply to semi-automatic firearms. If this does not answer your questions or for further interpretation of firearms laws in NJ it maybe in your best interest to contact a NJ licensed attorney who specializes in this area.

A complete list of banned firearms can be found in N.J.S. 2C:39-1.w as well as N.J.A.C. 13:54-1.2. If a firearm is not specifically listed by name then it may be considered to be substantially identical if it has the following qualities;
A semi-automatic rifle that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least two of the following:
(1) A folding or telescoping stock;
(2) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;
(3) A bayonet mount;
(4) A flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash
suppressor; and
(5) A grenade launcher;
A semi-automatic pistol that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least two of the following:
(1) An ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip;
(2) A threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer;
(3) A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles the barrel and that permits the shooter to hold the firearm with the non-trigger hand without being burned;
(4) Manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded; and/or
(5) A semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm; and
A semi-automatic shotgun that has one of the following:
(1) A folding or telescoping stock;
(2) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;
(3) A fixed magazine capacity in excess of six rounds;
A semiautomatic rifle with a fixed magazine capacity exceeding 10 rounds.

New Jersey State Police
Firearms Investigation Unit"

With all of that said, and looking into what the state deems as a "silencer" - "g. "Firearm silencer" means any instrument, attachment, weapon or appliance for causing the firing of any gun, revolver, pistol or other firearm to be silent, or intended to lessen or muffle the noise of the firing of any gun, revolver, pistol or other firearm." I am thinking that a shroud/baffles would be considered one? I am reaching out to a NJ 2A attorney for their interpretation, but wanted so see what you all thought.
