Check out my reply to babzMee too. What is a depinger ? My zelos seems to make a lot of metallic noise at gun when shooting. Is that pinging ?
Cool ranging binos! Awesome pic of the huge ghog you anchored! Really nice shotI replaced my range finder and binoculars with Bushnell’s FusionX 10x40. They’re very clear, bright, spot-on accurate. I chose the FusionX because it was a great product at an excellent price. Although it ranges to one mile, my needs are under 100 yards so it works great. Sage rats don’t have a chance now. My kill ratio has increased dramatically and the amount of missed shots has been reduced significantly.

A piece that holds an adjustment screw could easily be sweated on.I've wondered if someone with more skills than me could solder or epoxy on a replacement stage-length tab...and maybe even drill/tap it for a little adjuster screw?
I see what you mean now.I watched the first video. Had trouble keeping my eyes on the scope.
That is an awesome range! If we study my chart some we can see my initial trajectory apex is probably right around 23 yards; but extends to approximately 32 yards. I could rezero the scope to the middle of the apex say 26/27 yards and reshoot, to minimize holdovers but in my case it’s not that critical since I have hard holdover values I have validated.
Good fun when you are kinda snowed in.

The Crosman Silhouette is probably what you are looking for. Comes without rear sight but can be fitted with scope for silhouette or rear sight for 10 meter.

@AirNGasman You are the leading expert in this field, and the go-to for inspiration and knowledge. Could you give us a quick list of what would be needed in a pcp pistol to compete under the current silhouette rules and criteria for max power to possibly knock down a 1/2 scale or even 1/5 scale?
@noremaximus Just an observation in the airgun building world, though the GK1 is a bit "expensive" under your above listed criteria, by the time you build something to fit your needs you'd probably have just as much into it as if you'd have invested in a GK1 and outfitted it with a good accurate optic.
What caliber what barrel length, what power level? I have an fx donny, a ronin, and a yokozuna. What is the best moderator for fx impact?
Didn’t know about Wi-Fi. It’s also the one I now use. Did go outside and used the black one for ease of setup.I have the 1st and 3rd one. I like the 3rd the best. I got it to work in the app over WiFi, won’t work with iOS so you need an android. The problem is iOS will disconnect automatically if there is not “data” connection. Once using it in android I wast able to copy/paste the data. It will suddenly disappear also, oh and it only tracks 20 shots. It will purge the oldest. I found the app data useless, just use pen and paper or like I do and open excel on an iPad and use a Bluetooth number pad to quickly record.
I have the original labradar and the new LX, and I still find these cheap chronographs very useful for tuning a rifle. I’ve tested them against each other. The velocity might be off by as much as 30fps, but shot to shot they have consistently mirrored each other. So if one shot on the lab is 5fps slower than another he previous shot, the Chinese will also record 5 fps slower
better hurry up and buy or reserve to get the best price before the tarif incrreases hit ... most dealers do not stock too many mavericks ... used if you can find it ...I am a very biased air gunner but I can’t believe there is a better gun than the Maverick from FX. Shoots slugs or pellets with the right barrel liner, 2 regulators(very precise pressures),very large plenum(power!), excellent adjustable trigger, well constructed(high quality!) and many, many aftermarket upgrades are available. If you equip it with the “Shooting with Phil”easy tune micrometer-based hammer spring system($125), it becomes EXTREMELY easy to tune. The new AMP regulators are really, really good and are now standard.
And you get very high shot counts because or the tuning benefits and it is available on the FX Wildcat, too, which is on the same “base” as the Maverick!
Again a highly biased view but I’m very pleased with mine!!!
Before i knew that the pin has a flat, i did put pressure on the NP but the pin would not move. Didn't know about the flat. All is good now, and the fork/jig is done. Sure will need it to assemble as well.Take the load off the pin by compressing the ram a bit. It will pop out. You may need to make a fork jig to grab the ram back.
