AirMaks Arms  Krait X .22 Air consumption

Hello. I'm coming back to finish this topic.
The gun returned after a visit to the manufacturer. It took a long time, but I can say that now it is good. They did not find any faults and said that everything is 100% functional, but I carefully examined and photographed the equipment before shipping. They certainly reviewed every element, made lubrication and configuration. Unfortunately, they ordered payment for it, but my seller in the Czech Republic did not charge me with it and sent it at no additional cost. Now it shoots steadily and economically enough so I'm starting to really enjoy it and I think I'll like it;)
At the moment I set the regulator low, only 90bar and it is stable, economical and still I have over 45fpe and about 200 good shots.
I'm testing Jsb monster light 20.83gr now and it looks like it's a great pellet
Thank you for your interest and forgive me for talking.😅
Please show your results with the JSB monster lights! The Krait L in the wood stock is on my short list.

Backdrop for target shooting

My vote is a rubber horse stall mat , and defiantly do not shoot toward other houses . where do you live ? maybe a range near you ?
kid size easy to cock and shoot , low power , $139 SHIPPED TO YOU

Sorting Pellets and Slugs?

Pellets and slugs are quite different animals I think.

Slugs have a lot of surface in contact with the barrel, so while the pressure and barrel will size the slug on the way down the barrel that work is a huge variable that affects accuracy. I’m aware that some slug shooters are resizing their slugs and testing in increments of much less than .001” and finding that the slug diameter should be sized to match the preference of the barrel.

Pellets are less sensitive to that but I have found that head size is still important. So if you’re going to sort pellets I’d start with head size and visual inspection to remove bad pellets. Weight sorting is pretty easy so that’s common but I have not found the heaviest and lightest to shoot much differently. I encourage you to take the five heaviest and five lightest and shoot them in a 10 shot group to compete against a ten shot group from the middle weight range.

I also find that sorting methods fall into two levels of expectation: sorting to eliminate oddballs and sorting to divide the good ones into smaller groups that are gooder. I have not found much benefit with the latter approach but if I were competing seriously the former is quite valid. You don’t want to lose a point at a major match because of a bad pellet that would have been easily spotted.

Taipan  My first Taipan Purchase

I would read about what slugs others are having good luck with and start there . Ocdairgunner posted above with some good information and it sounds like. 218 diameter works well in the Vet 2 . The 217s might group ok but you should have a proper fit especially with slugs, imo. You should have a excellent slug shooter, from what I've read.

I keep my Vet 1 standard shooting pellets because that's what it was made for . And it's great at what it does . My little .177 Vet compact just so happens to like 10gr slugs so by sheer luck I got a airgun that does pellets and slugs well . The new Vet 2s have the power and un-chokeed barrels for slugs and sounds like they shoot pellets good also . Have fun 👍

Crosman  New 1322 tech

Some of you may remember that I was making and selling these PCP kits to mod your 1377 or 1322. I had sold a bunch on Amazon and ebay but it's hard to make a profit when people will add the cheap Chinese ones to their cart first so I wasn't really able to recoup my time in my list price so I pulled them down.

Anyhow, with the factory valve and an updated valve seal, they will hold way more than 2000psi but thats where I had them rated at because valve lock would occur at anything higher but I just FINALLY got my patent pushed through and now this thing will work just fine with no valve lock at 3500psi using my new patented poppet. I typically keep it at 3250 and I'm pushing 20 grain slugs at 838fps (not bad for 22 caliber.) I don't want to give a descriptor just yet at my patent technology because I plan to sell the valves on ebay. This valve tech will also work on all PCP guns that experience valve lock above their rated pressures so hopefully I'll be able to expand this with other manufacturers in the future.

Pictured is my 1322 with said valve and moderator that I designed and 3d printed (It works really well.)View attachment 534066
I would be interested in a kit for a rear cocker 1322

Airgun PRS gear recommendations

I only have the very basic one I drew up for my DRS and if I'm not mistaken the panthera has a different width breech slot? But your welcome to the STL if I'm wrong.

I'm thinking of getting back into NRL22 with a DRS rifle. Do you mind sharing that STL file with me?
Thanks.
