The R1 is the same rifle as the HW80 and HW80's are still in production, which is good for you when it comes to parts availability.

The largest scope I have mounted to a gun (or vice versa in this case) is an ep5 g2 7-35 on my impact. Scope is awesome. It’s heave and big (as expected) but the glass is really nice. Turrets as well. Great bang for your buck imho.

Been using a DFL Ronin on my FX Boss (.30) for a few years now. Last time I measured it was 82ish db.

A printed part with pins or protrusions for advancing the cylinder is likely to fail. But I think one could instead use a metal pin as an insert to the print that would probably be strong enough, at least for a while. If this were my problem, I'd model the cylinder as best I could, using what's left of the cylinder. Then I'd add the pins in plastic for a test. They probably would survive a couple of cycles. If it works, then rework the 3d model to have metal pins. To reduce the likelihood of deforming the plastic, I'd make the diameter of the pin bigger inside the part, than the outside. This will reduce the local force on the plastic, by spreading it over a larger diameter. Even making the pin 20% greater diameter (in the part) would help a lot, as the surface area increases by pi*d*length.

Just a quick update on this. I realized that my leaking had started after the regulator replacement. I also had taken the regulator out a few times. At no point did I ever grease that sealing O-ring. I pulled the reg and used the Super Lube silicone grease on the O-ring and the overnite pressure check shows a drop in pressure that is so small as to maybe be my imagination. So I guess the phrase is:

See O-ring, grease O-ring.

Yes, my experience on here has been similar. Have been banned from a thread because I upset an Alkin owner with a negative comment about them, mostly due to my not owning one. Ridiculous, IMO. Why not let the post stand on its own merit, and allow each reader to judge based on their perspective?

A tad more adversarial than I prefer, that's why I don't post much here any more.

My friends place are turning into the little decommissioned farm of horrors for mice.

Last night he got another one with the ancient guess and shoot NV scope, and got a head shot.

And early today after sunrise he got another one.

The way he is going i will have to go shoot my pests on the mean streets of Denmark.

Update: Replaced the "transfer hose" and holding 100 bar of air. Will monitor and if pressure holds up at 250 bar, I will consider this problem solved.

Ok found the grub screws under the action, one released the spring and ball so re assembled. Removed the valve and applied some 1000 grit sand paper to the Teflon section while spinning in the drill.
Leak seems to be gone now.
