PCP's are not affected by the cold like CO2's.

Shot my M17 today. This was free gift when I purchased my Marauder.
I only had the original 20 round mag , and it did not work worth a damn , but bought 4 mags that work perfect ,vand threw that one away. Today I shot all 4 mags , so 80 rounds with open sights.
Still some CO2 left when I opened the lever. Using 7 grain flat points pushed into the belt. Got some nice groups.
It was 75° out now it's 80°. Using very old Daisy cartridges.

So to my expert regulator peeps..
I've been trying to figure out an issue with the Epic Two for a while with the regulator.
The first problem is gone because I took the Huma regulator out = issue gone. (super duper slow refresh, up t 25 mins by time the reg set pressure was almost reached, and the issue was never resolved.
Issue two:
New epic gen II? regulator brings the pressure up by 1 bar every 10-12 shots until it's about 8 bar over my set pressure and shot string is affected as you can guess. When the airgun is aired up again, a few shots drops the pressure back to the pressure I initially set it to, then does the same thing on the next string moving up, refill few shots repeat repeat repeat.
I've replaced the valve and made sure the this was a 2mm protrusion as the first one was at 3mm likely from the vendor. (so this problem was fixed)
But what is happening is the reg creep as the pressure drops time after time and over a few thousand pellets over the chrono now. Another replacement regulator does the exact same thing. Lower pressure causing higher reg pressure.
I actually give up by myself, and even with epics help and advice. I've tuned exactly the way I was directed and done this from the beginning over and over to no avail.
I'm actually thinking about trying to replace the regulator with some inline bottle regulator if possible if I can't find the issue.
I know two others with the airgun and they don't have the same issue.
Anyone know what can cause lower pressure in bottle causing more pressure in plenum with each shot?

Well, if you are careful and read exactly what you are buying, then yes. Quite often the picture and the price are two different things. There will be multiple options as to what is being sold. So, the $5 item is the screws that hold what you want to buy and what you want to buy in the picture is $18.

Pretty sure I heard the tariffs are on hold for 30 days pending negotiations? If so the power through strength might work. These tariffs are for the most part a negotiating tool. Our POTUS is transactional looking for positive results. It’s a tool I don’t believe he is any more interested in starting a massive world wide trade war any more than he is interested in direct war with China. I say just let this play out. Dang probably get banned again. I ask for no more leash I’m done.

Didn't know much about the AirForce platform so I've been diving down the various paths. Heavy hammer, heavy spring, high flow valve, 19" barrel, 1.1L bottle, Huben Cricket Z-Valve and Huben Cricket Max-ATH. The latter having a 50cc plenum which at 3000psi fires the above.

Now i need the 19 or 24" .25 barrel

Looks like a good fund raiser. I would spring for a couple. I wish you guys where just a bit closer, I would love to shoot your springer bench matches, or you hand them in betters months for travel.

Unfortunately it is "permanently affixed" so it technically needs to be glued on with like a red threadlock or something.

Very nice video. The only tuning kit I have used is Vortek (I live practically right next store to the factory) and I really like the results. I am not sure what kind of voodoo Tom does, but it improves the shot cycle by a factor of 10. I highly recommend his kits. It has that nice "thunk" sound and feel instead of the "boink" and sproing feel during the shot cycle.

I like it. Depending on price point I may need one in 177 to complete my varmint collection.

I have a Pulsar but .177 very quiet , stock low power setting , never needed to change this setting so i did not move to med or hi , Squirrels out to 60 yards . Absolutely deadly FT gun out to 60 yards .

This review and testing video of DonnyFL Ronin moderator for a second time. How does it fair up when you are testing the muzzle dB reading. I decided to test it out in the name of science and got pretty intresting results. I really do like the moderator and it is one of the most quietest ones.


DB readings were as follows:
Control group:
82,4db
82,1db
82,1db
80,2db

avg = 81,78db

DonnyFL Ronin:
80,7db
80,1db
79,9db
80,1db
79,9db
avg = 80,18db

You got .30 pellets now in the .07s for BC. I wouldn't compare hybrids as they aren't very good BC wise. NSA .30 43gr are .105 BC. Gotta shoot a 33gr slug in .22 to compare BC wise. Very light .30 slug to quite heavy .22 slug.

.177 slugs the 20.5gr NSAs are only .075 BC. Only gain .005 from 12.5gr to 20.5gr.

Great advise- I do have a notebook for each of my rifles, and I will be keeping detailed notes on everything- going to take my time- have several different weights and brands of ammo going to try it all out- thanks for the advise- getting setup outside now- will update in a few days.
