Air Venturi  Avenger Regulator Video

Hello all I need help for my friend in New Mexico. He has an Avenger , and there is not a video showing the regulator remove , and replace.
I warned him about the belliview spring washers ect. Does this regulator come apart like the Zelos where you can loose the stack pattern , or is it a one piece thing
His needs a seal replacement , and he has purchased the kit for that.
Thanks for help. OldVet.

Light vs heavy slug expansion

I use primarily two types of slugs in my FX Maverick VP .30cal:

  • FX Hybrid Slugs 44.5gr
  • H&N Slug IIs 50gr
The Hybrid Slugs almost completely hollow design offers phenomenal expansion as well as a great ballistic profile when used on groundhogs. Here is a recovered Hybrid Slug after a full passthrough at around 55-60 yards.

The H&N on the other hand, will blow straight through the shoulders of groundhogs at 70 yards and would drop them DRT 95% of the time, but do full penetration with a fair amount of velocity afterwards.

CS4 arrived, my first pcp compressor.

I appreciate the help. I have only owned a springer and an older GAMO gas piston. I just came across the Taipan Slash. It reminds me of the leshiy. In the first video, the person said he hoped air would not come back in his face.
Get an FX Impact M4 or a Karma SLS rifle. You can thank me later.

Also, I'd ditch that gold filter and go with the GX Official filter.

FX  Full FX Leopard Review: Tactical Bullpup Innovation with 890cc of Air Capacity!

Agreed! Those PEEPS! are horrible! The Leopoard is a nice mashup of some of the best features from other models. Early testing was fantastic with those Hybrids. I am going to crank it up next to test the Zan ELRs.
How did it go with the ELRs? What pressure, what FPE and how many rounds?

Air Arms  TX200 splits breach seals

Cocked or uncocked with handle snapped into place .... If you can WIGGLE the cocking linkage THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM !!!
The breech is NOT being fully set against the breech seals double stacked 90duro o-rings.
Worn cocking shoe or it needs to be shimmed to get a firm and secure lock up where when handles locked up & breech is closed the link is placed under slight tension.

The .25 caliber ELR Slugs are here!!!

Hehe actually me having the brain i have, and experience in powder coating, and educations for other forms of surface treatment and painting.

Parried with a sleep disorder with a run away brain, I have already devised how such a setup might look.

Me ( hands ) in my last job, though this of course a bit large at least VS what my mind have come up with for painting little lead lumps.

PS, this setup was 300 % slower in painting than i am, used 200 % more paint and at least 200 % more filter in the paint booth, but company thought it was a excellent investment,,,,, i only painted a few hours every day CUZ output and drying oven not larger / faster than that.

What i envisioned in my bed just need a small booth, with a cyclone of course to reuse / recycle surplus powder, a conveyor system, and of course a curing oven, everything of course in a continuous line, there should be no need to stop.

Paint booth with cyclone.

Curing oven probably need to be custom made as they are often large, but a conveyor can make round trips in such a oven before exit to make sure the things are in there long enough for paint to do what it need to do to be good.
I once worked in a place where the curing oven was on top of the painting line.

My mind assume just 1 spray gun would be sufficient.

Conveyor much like in my last job, slug would spin around when passing through paint section.
slugs should of course be only 2-3 Cm apart on the conveyor, it should look like a belt fed Machine gun so to say.
Conveyor speed slow though as otherwise curing oven can not keep up, a " automated " taking off painted slugs would probably be easy to make, but you would probably need someone to put the slugs on the conveyor ( upside down placed with peg up the hollow point )

My sleep deprived mind think this can be done on about 15 - 20 Sq M of floor space.

New FX Impact Compact - Newbie Question

Fair point, and will do. I have 4 marauder variants, but I find them to be essentially one-trick ponies. I’ve figured out the pellets they each prefer, and refill after no more than 2 magazines. They are laser accurate, but the MRODs are gigantic, the PROD only has so much power, and although the Akela is accurate and many ways an MROD of usable size, the balance is off. But again, not much tinkering with them, and the ammunition choice for each is pretty self-explanatory from the beginning. A bit of experimentation, yes, but in the grand scheme of things not all that much because the power is what it is.

So yes, chronograph next, and then I’ll be back. I’ll be in touch soon.
Did you ever get a chronograph?
