1)Is yours at 12 ft pounds? Like to shoot this for hft target huntes class need about 100 shots. Plus how dose it shoot at 55 yards? thanks keith
I'm a little over 12 ft lbs. Around 16, I believe. It shoots great out to 60 yards. I haven't shot any groups on paper recently enough to remember what size groups it shoots. But it'll regularly hit walnuts, bottle caps, and other targets of opportunity at that range.

FX  Who Has Received Their DRST ?

Looks like Topgun-Airguns has all configurations in stock

Tips and Shooting Technique with an Air Rifle Mounted Atop of a Tripod

I do not use a hand scanner as this method works great for me. My biggest issue is that animals will literally walk right by me and have no idea that I am there. If a deer gets within 15', I usually make a small noise so that they don't spook and run me over. Had an Armadillo come and sniff my boot, and foxes and coyotes just trot by if the wind is right.

The batteries last ~ 4 hours. I do put it on standby mode as I move about, but only so the animals do not see the illuminated viewfinder. There is only a minuscule amount of battery power saved by doing this. If I am out longer, I just throw a new set of rechargeable batteries in the unit.

It is now dark and I will be heading out soon. I hope the piggies cooperate.
@MAUMAU Happy hunting and be safe. I understand close encounters. I’ve had my fair share.

A decked out RAWs and Theoben at the British Shooting show

I’ve been seeing the odd post over the last couple months talking about a Theoben comeback. Do we know if these are production models that are going up for sale at retailers?

I have to be honest here. I’m not sold on the side lever. To keep try to the original design, they should keep the bolt action. Let the RAW brand have the side lever.

The socks are all great looking with adjustments that all gun manufacturers should offer.

FX  Maverick question

You know I was actually considering the 600 as well. Still haven’t decided but I will most def look into it! Thanks!
I have only had 1 700mm barrel inn all my dawdling with air guns. Proved too long. I can get all the power I want out of a 600mm when shooting slugs. However, I don’t shoot the heavy for caliber slugs and that is where the 700 shines.

Griffin .22 ldc 17g slugs?

In fact I had a notos with a 380mm superior, from 730fps to 840 they shot well enough to take 100s of souls.
After I slapped on a 600mm they tightened further. Out of the 600 from 850-900 they shot just as well as jsb pellets. About 1.3moa at 100 if I had the gun on a lead sled. Frequently plucked squirrels out of trees 65-93y from my elevated perch at my preferred hunt. I don't foresee disappointing results. Start shooting them at 870 and work up. Every barrel is unique.
Thanks for the info buddy much appreciated. Really answered my question bout the griffins.

Skout  Why do Skout use Poly O rings?

Skout needs to do both Buna N & Polyurethane O-rings. There is no doubt that poly is better in some applications…….AND there is even no less doubt that Buna N is better in a lot of applications. A PCP can utilize both in the same gun. That’s my .02.

Again, my opionion here; Skout used poly previously and they are not only accustomed to such seals but that’s what they had in paid for stock and available. Now, with PCPs please diversify your seal use portfolio 😊
I agree. In the applications where a constant high pressure is present, the PU orings can tend to take a “set” like the SK-OU9009 in the HP regulator. We shifted that to 90 duro Buna N over a year ago, and recently Skout has installed a 70 duro Buna N X ring in that position.

Daystate Blackwolf or ghost carbin

Something I'm curious about is the wood stock of the blackwolf and the effects of atmosphere and humidity on consistency across time. I don't think you need to worry about this with the Ghost bc of the construction of it. Is this a moot point, am I overthinking this?
Non issue… I’m in the Deep South and not a problem

N/A  Best value PCP?

Quantify or define - nice?!

A higher quality PB you're looking at a heck of a lot more than $1300. For example go price Vudoo or RimX rimfires.
Same for many higher end PB's of all kinds.

You're paying much more for the diminishing returns for higher quality stuff but it is there nonetheless. It's called refinement, and yes superior ergos, match grade triggers, and better build quality, every upgrade all adds up to excellence.

Yes $1300 is a lot of money but $1300 buys a lot less than it did a decade ago.
what’s nice to me might not be so nice to you 😜
1300$ can get me an m&p40 and ammo, or a jericho 941. not the best, but nice in my eyes.
majority of airgunners aren’t looking to push past 100 yards for a kill.
if they have the money, they can spend it. i personally can’t recommend +1500$ airguns to someone just starting out.

EDgun  Made the Behemoth switch

70 yards with the Behemoth reflex system. (As usual this is not a cherry picked group that was shot in a variable 5-15 mph swirling wind off a tripod). The accuracy is a bit better over the Valkyrie Huma mod50 configuration. I would guess the air stripper is doing a good job lowering the turbulence in the moderator can.

Brocock TAC pistol at AOA

yes they are very interesting and collectors items as you saw the price of the uberti on eBay..
the cartridges are the catch.. there's only so many of them around, being all brass and stainless steel I doubt they will go bad..
I still keep thinking about getting ahold of a cartridge and trying to find a CNC machine shop to produce the parts.. they are realitively simple design and only one of the o rings are hard to install.. you need a tapered hat and silicone grease, then it's somewhat easy.
would be great to see more added to this thread and even better if someone knows how to add links to the other threads about them here..

Umarex  umarex Komplete converted to HPA???

I've saw a video of a guy hooking up a HPA bottle with a braided line to a Komplete. The Komplete seems to be an updated version of the old RWS 850 co2 rifle.
Has anybody tried to see if the HPA tank to 88 gram bottle adapter would make a Komplete HPA so we could use .13cu.in or .22cu.in bottles would fit? I understand the Komplete is internally regulated to like 1800psi, so not sure how hooking regulated bottles to one would work. Might have to use bottles with the regulator guts removed so the internal regulator would do the regulating. Seems like a good platform if it worked out that way, as long as it was accurate.

Thx
Ray
if you can get a adapter to go to the c02 88 should work just fine, just get a bottle non regulated..
I saw at shot show 2025 in a video of the umarex booth the guy said that you could screw the 88 c02 bottle right on the komplete and get a ton more shots but less power than nitrogen.

Question of the Day/Week Which Gun Case Size, Safe do you prefer (pictures & Special AGN Coupon) UPDATED w/AGN Coupon

TopGun-Airguns.com just brought out a line of Storage Devices for Airguns, and Firearms for Rifle and Pistols in the form of Gun Cases, Personal Safes, and Commercial Safes. They can be found here: https://www.topgun-airguns.com/product-category/gun-storage/

.............
That is one of my pet peeves I never let go. You are selling RSC's (residential security containers) as safes, they are not safes by industry definition. there is no grey area. Safes have UL ratings, UL has an RSC rating and it is a joke, basically nobody get's there RSC's certified by UL for the simple fact they can't even pass that low bar. Same goes for advertised fire ratings, if it isn't cerified, it isn't worth a damn. I own 3 RSC's myself, not that I am against them, just be honest about it. I do own one real tl-15 fire rated safe, smaller than my smallest RSC, and weighs a few hundred pounds more than my biggest RSC.

Other  New to PCPs

I had been waiting to use the magazine until I had a bit more time. I have limited time so sighting in took a few days at only a few shots per day. Pictured are the sighting in, and the continued sighting in, along with some practice shooting. All using the single shot tray. Targets are out of order. One of the 'fliers' are actually a kill shot.

New FT rifle /scope suggestion

I'm not sure and forgot who I got the wheel from?? But I got them both used. I'd have to look to see if the manufacturer is marked on the Butt piece. I lucked out that this wheel happened to fit that HG2 2-12, lol?!
Here’s my final setup
i would not use the Weihrauch moderator for competition - backyard only!
NX8 with a 6” scopewerks wheel. Rowan palm riser and a PRS barricade stop.

RAW Rapid  How to lists on classified

I've been told it's easier to use the classified section on the computer but then I have no idea how to get the pictures from the phone to the computer..
You can email them to your self as an attachment and then open your email on the computer.
