My Davv sc30 (yong heng style) has become just a heavy burden. It needs a rebuild and I won't do it. Just going to the curb like the last one and see if anyone wants the scrap.

I was just typing a response when I was notified of the response. But, yeah very likely it was the wrong size breech ring. Either a .22, or some off brand "close enough" size. They use proprietary sizes or oddball extremely specific sizes on some parts and it can damn near impossible to tell them apart from eyeballing one that's "close enough". Also whoever said Amazon kit orings can be incorrectly sized, mislabeled, or differing duro than claimed is 100% on point. Glad you got the real ones. Imagine it'll work

I haven't changed anything from what Devin had it set at, it's pushing a JSB 25.39 at 814 to 825fps it's been so cold I haven't been able to do any adjustments but for the distance and what I'm shooting its working for me.

I don't know that it really makes much difference, but through the years when I handed my Sheridan to someone to shoot, I'd ask them to pump it hand into hand. The end of the pump, into the hand guard, closing your hands together for the least stain into that brass rifle.

Another magazine solution I REALLY like the Manuloader offered by AGN member Shortcut.
I'm sure he could make one for the Impact. Essentially it works as a magazine that you index by rotating to the next pellet manually. The benefit is that the pellet has no spring tension on it. It is like a single-shot tray but much faster. The pellet is also fully enclosed which aids in direct lineup to the breech.

This was an all BOG and extended-BOG effort. Don't give me all the credit.

My vote goes to the hammer. Sounds like something is dragging the hammer when it gets into a certain position or something with the trigger. Because the odd shot is almost always about 5" low and the rest of the shots are so consistent, that odd shot must be coming out slow. I have the same airgun...Gen 2 Synrod, LW barrel, all still stock. I haven't seen anything like your problem, I just get a good tune with great groups and then they seem to start opening up and I can't figure out why. But I searched the forums and wound up polishing the hammer and tube it slides in with 2000 grit abrasive sheet to reduce friction. Then I coated the tube with a teflon spray that dries out and leaves no residue that can cause gumming up or collecting dust. Also polished the trigger parts. My other problem with opening group sizes was solved just last week. I broke the gun down (not any pressure parts) and decided to try more trigger pull. I think it was too light so I increased it somewhat, even gave it a little bit of creep and my groups size is right back where it was, 1/4 to 3/8" at 25 yds. Let us know what you find out.

The british pest controllers using their - only- 6 ft lbs air pistols very effective on small pests inside 15 yards. A lot of them use the crosman 2240, which seems to be a very effective rat killer for barns and gardens. Because of the low energy, very low danger of pass through and a very dead critter if you hit it in the vitals (head, neck, lungs, heart).

Great job, I wish I had the skills to do it. I shoot RAW rifles and I prefer the Left hand action to the right hand. I'm right handed too.

Those numbers are just crazy to me being in stock form my FX is capable of 107fpe in the same caliber. I’m running 38.9gr at 1085fps now after upgrades to my FX.
Power is one thing, if it’s not accurate, but as I worked my way up it just continued to shoot really well.

This sucks. I can’t even read this thread because my company’s filtering software blocks it under “Dating/Romance Personals”. All I can do is reply. Fess up, who on here was looking for love. Not that I could actually read it.

I don't have one, but I bet it is WAY too nicely balanced since the barrel is nestled down into the stock instead of perched on top of an air tank.

I feed the birds 50lbs of chicken scratch every month or so, 20 bucks, A few years ago I wiped out all the sparrows , I had noting to shoot but paper targets and a few cow birds,,, I kept the feed out and gave all the good birds a pass, After a year or so the sparrows started coming back, In one of my big brain farts I just started shooting the male sparrows , The more I shot the males the more came, LOTS of hens ,, I have shot a few males through the winter not a lot one or two a day,,, March is almost here so I am going to start the experiment all over again... Sure need to find a close feed lot ...

Did I mention that my furnace has been out for 5 days now.
I’m on crutches and not very maneuverable cause also had shoulder surgery
So wife says no heat and I go on my butt down 2 sets of stairs. Hobble over
to furnace and open up . See problem right away . Igniter shot. Ok to
Amzon and order. 2days to arrive. I go back down to cellar to replace and notice
it’s longer by maybe 1/8 inch. Anyway standing on one leg struggle to get the
spring steel clamp on . Now I have to splice in cause the connector burned up
years ago. I didn’t get down and look if it was placed right. Closed up and told
her to turn it on. After the pre venting relay clicks and poooff igniter gone.
Was grounded on frame. Back on amzon for igniter. Comes Saturday, down to
carefully install . Get in, turn on, relay No light. Meter out , no V.
Ah oooo. musta burned controller up. Tested tried reset from lockout , nope bad.
Amzon again , order , not here till Wednesday…… continued
