Diana  Diana 34 EMS Gas Piston Installation

Good morning,
I also have a Lawrence of Arabia .177 springer and the previous owner had changed the spring guide.
This one is very smooth and consistent.
I picked up the Legion from bullseyesouth.com on a great sale but it felt dry and a bit buzzy so I thought I'd try the ram.
The ram is smoother and I feel that I'm getting a quicker pulse and a more solid audible crack on firing.
I've got some more work to do with it, but the sights made the most
significant improvement.
The fiber optic sights provided with it are OK for coarse work but the premium sites and the Williams micrometer rear really made things happen.
I love the open sights because it keeps me challenged, so if you can upgrade the sights or put on a good scope and you'll have
one fantastic rifle there!
Beware of the NECCO wafers, they're addictive, and tasty!
Happy shooting!!

Tariffs Explained - Pyramyd AIR Insyder

We’ll have to wait and see as to the actual effect on the economy. Fact is that a lot of investments needing imported stuff where accelerated to avoid tariffs. Which typically means that investments will be slower following that. Plus, we’ll have to see whether consumers and companies will still buy stuff from outside the country and pay the tariffs (which will curb domestic product demand since people have don’t have unlimited money) or whether they stop buying imported stuff. My money is on they’ll keep buying it. Which makes the entire thing a tax on us… and means that there’s less money to be spend on other stuff. It’ll take 6-12months or so until you’ll actually see the direction this will be going. Of course there will always be people who tout any proof that a certain policy they are told to believe in is harmful as nonsense even though they have been wrong so many times in the past that nobody pays attention to them anymore ;)
Most of the predictions I saw from economist was 2nd or 3rd quarter for the effects to become a trend. As you said most companies increased stocks prior to tariffs. I saw several corps give that as reason to expect lower first quarter earnings.

But if inflationary pressure grows it will be virtually impossible to lower while tariffs are in effect. The general economy is in fair shape so the only driver at that point is tariffs. Our rapacious oil companies have normalized their gouging so energy is no longer driving inflation.

Diana Airbug

I'm fascinated by the Diana Airbug, but at the same time I have still much to learn with the guns I already have. I'm thinking that the Airbug is "quite different" so I would need to "learn other things" , and probably I need to focus on improving my skills with "traditional" pistols.
Am I wrong? For example, is it comfortable to use the Airbug with a normal two handed pistol grip and stance, or is the "Olympic style" needed?
You can use either. I also use a rest sometimes.

N/A  Daystate, Airgun Technology or FX.

I’ve have 2 daystate reveres and have had 0 problems with them.
Had 2 fx mavericks ok in bigger cal 177 sucked. Still have a m3 but i don’t shoot it much. Never had airgun technology. But now i have a pair of brk ghosts and am very happy with them they shoot well and I’ve had 0 problems in the last 2 years! Ask me what to get? 👻

Taipan  Comparing the Taipan Slash compared to the Huben K1 - Whether to buy a 1st release model instead of waiting for new owner feedback

Look forward to your impressions after you receive your Slash. The one you are getting is exactly the one that I am interested in! Hope that it meets your expectations. If so, it will probably be my next purchase.

Jerry

My impressions of my 25 cal Slash Tactical with a 420mm barrel are listed in another discussion thread on Taipan Slash tuning, along with high/medium/low power tests with over a dozen different pellets and 0.249 slugs. I was very impressed with the overall build and function. The magazines are really excellent, solid metal with 13mm deep cylinders. I only bought mine with the intention to test it so that I could post the power performance results on the forum, and then just sell it in the Classifieds.

I'm at the tail end of my association with airguns but I still like to offer my sales at a good discount so that other people who are not as well funded as I am can afford to try something better than they could usually afford. I've gotten over 1/2 of my many airguns from various classifieds over many years, most of which I could not have afforded otherwise. So that's my way of passing on the same option to others. My Slash was posted for sale in the AGN Classifieds last night. If you've been hoping for a good deal on one someday then this may be your lucky day.

Brocock/BRK  DIY Ghost Butt Plate

I have been playing around with a couple different ideas on a better butt plate assembly for my Ghost. I tried the first iteration a couple weeks ago at my first field target match. Well, first with my own gun and gear :D

I liked how the first one felt and how the rifle mounted to my shoulder, but decided to tweak it a little for version two.
Adjustable length of pull, via different thickness spacers. About 10 degrees of adjustment for cant, and about 1 inch of height available. I tried to get it as close to what I thought I'd like, so the adjustments are only for fine tuning. I have it pretty dialed in now, similar to chassis on a couple of my regular powder rifles.

Made from scrap oak, but different pieces had different grain and color. It didn't look right with the rest of the rifle, so I painted it with some hammer texture Krylon.
Had some leftover grip tape from a baseball bat for a couple soft rubber patches to make the rear plate less slippery.

I may thread a hole in the bottom for some type of bag rider, but mostly I am shooting from sticks.

Loving the Ghost, can't wait to try more field target matches!
Lots to figure out and improve on, but the rifle is awesome!!!

Tuning  FX M4 .22/.35 BC Data & Starting Tune Settings

I guess this probably doesn't belong, but I have heard about the bc calculator before being unavailable because of political reasons.. so is the attaman ap16 compact.. now if we could just get the moderators on the forum to remove the political reasons why we can or can not get a certain thing it would be awesome.. but again that's wishful thinking..

if any of you moderators read this you are doing a awesome job with this site..

I guess I'm just lamenting that we even have to be affected by political things even if we don't care to.
hope you all are doing great. have a great evening

CS4 - maintenance after no use for 2 years?

Would someone kindly explain to me the reason for changing the water?

I have an Omega Trail Charger, which I believe is a fairly similar design, and it has been sitting rarely used for about a year and a half. Before that it was used fairly often for a couple years. Anyway, I have never changed it's water. Upon inspection, it still resembles clean water. Has it's thermal cooling properties changed over time?

Meopta Optika6 4.5-27x50 Sunshade?

If you own this or probably the 18X version do you know the answer? The sunshade for this scope is stupid expensive, Like around $50 So...
I was going through my 50mm sunshades and can't find one that fits the objective of this scope.
I no longer have a 50mm objective Athlon or would check that.
Does anyone know if there is a sunshade that fits?

BTW this scope has extremely clear glass.. Very nice.
