The 1911 both shoot well at cans and metal targets. CharlesHave you gotten to use them yet?
Yes, but like said below the trigger assembly might need a little polishing if you want a smoother lighter trigger. I find my trigger to be good enough for my ratting endeavors! They are accurateAlso like the air venturi
Accurate & reliable?
20.5gr nsa are not only long but super hard slugs compared to other slugs due to the higher amount of antimony. I've had that issue as well if the gun is not shooting higher power. By higher power I mean 36-38fpe. With your 10.34gr shooting at 1024 those 20.5gr nsa are likely going about 750fps, while the 10gr VK going 1110fps out of my U2 .177 600mm, the 20gr were moving around 900fps. And those don't get stuck only because they are smaller and made of pure lead.I seem to recall tighter groups out of the box with my U1 compact shooting 10.34 avg. of 721. With my U2 out of the box it is shooting the 10.34 at 1024 (no avg. forgot to setup proper profile on FX Chrono) How is your U2 shooting and what pellet/slug works best out of yours? Thanks
I used polishing bits on a dremel to smooth the little track inside the rail which the cocking piece pin runs in Then used steel wool from course to super fine. Moves Like an Astro glide soaked salamander through a vaseline Coated slip-n-slide.Thank you for the insights. really appreciate it.
Do you polish or oil to the rest of the parts that would improve the performance and the use comfort?
Hi Ticker. Thanks for the support. I agree... my videos are fewer than normal. Recently I've spent a lot of time (and money) opening my website for my fans and other airgunners. All that aside... no excuses and I will get back to publishing at least 3 new videos a month. Thanks again for being a fan.I miss the videos ! Seems they have slowed quite a bit lately
MY interpretation of this is that no matter what you buy no mater how much you pay their is always a chance of getting a "dud"For what it's worth...buying ANY...air gun is drawing from a lottery !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leakage, mis-machined parts, bent, broken, etc., etc.
I just bought a semi-expensive (much more money than your Reign) gun. First fill, it leaked to "empty" in a day and a half. It continues to leak 6 or 7 weeks out.
Mike
Thanks. AOA has lots of parts for them too. I'm not in a real bind for anything in particular. I'm looking for someone that has parts they don't need and would consider selling at a reasonable price to keep on hand. You can buy a whole new trigger from Mundilar airguns online, based in Portugal.
Probably not ideal for US shipping, but just fyi, as a last resort.
it's mandatory opening the bleed screw, otherwise you will damage the Reg. Love those kind of rounds but I'm not a paper puncher and although the Mora is capable to send those weights at ridiculous speeds, the shot count will suffer too much. My Mora is a Hunting Set UpThe Mora is a really great airgun. I've been feeding mine the Altaros 66gr and very accurate.
One thing to note. RTI encourages opening the bleed screw by the reg gauge when lowering the regulator.
Don’t remember any gx official bashing. I have ordered parts from both and TF is much faster as when you order accessories/parts from gx they come from China for some reason. No idea why they don’t keep a stock of that stuff wherever they keep the compressors. Not saying it didn’t happen. Just don’t remember that.Meaning no offense to anyone who likes TF, but I wouldn't spend a dime on a guy that has bashed GXOfficial in his videos in the past, while at the same time making money off affiliate links. I prefer to buy directly from GX, or another affiliate with a great reputation. Caveat Emptor.
