I have the MTC Rapier and I have to say it is fun to shoot when you get all the info and dial to what it is calling then hit the target you are shooting at

Congratulations @Tom/TN for taking the honors for the paper target!!
Seems like it would be easierI used to use one of these RAM mounts on my TX200.
The trick to tightening these RAM mounts is to use leverage. I found a PVC pipe with a diameter just large enough to fit over the handle. Then I cut the PVC pipe to length to give me more leverage to tighten.
They do work for FT. The problem limiting widespread use in FT I suspect is consistent positioning of the hamster and ease of adjustment.
I remember when I was using these RAM mounts, they tend to spin around in all axis when you loosened them and it was hard to put these RAM type hamster back into a consistent position. I usually change hamster position for a standing or kneeling shot ...or if a target is elevated.
The product I bought were all made of aluminum. I think. I remember cutting into one a long time ago to fit my TX200...and it was shiny like aluminum and cut like aluminum.
They have been around for awhile and I've seen others adapting them as FT hamsters starting about 10-15 years ago.
Exactly the performance I'm looking for, I just want it to be as short as possible, with some sound suppression. I want to stick it behind the rear seat of a Tacoma, and there isn't that much room for anything much bigger than a TalonP, besides an actual pistol.I have my Escape UL with .25 cal barrel tuned to shoot Baracudas at 60+ ft lbs for 10 shots from 2300 psi to 1800 psi. Hand pumping is not too bad at those pressures, and my buddy tank can refill the rifle twice in the field, or I can hook it up to the compressor if I'm in a hurry.
