Only custom because I had to expand one of the holes in the stock to make it fit but I installed a 30cc plenum mod for the Barra last night.

I went with the Armasight Sidekick 320. It cost under $2k and I can use it handheld for scanning and clip into a bridge paired with a PVS-14. With the right attachments it can be used as a clip-on, although it is not designed for it. Would be great as an airsoft or 22-rifle clip-on or limited use on real rifle. I was considering a dedicated thermal scope but it only can do one task.

Hi talon can I use your expirience with vulcan 3 to learn something about the tuning on 700mm barrel cal 22 ? My question is on these longer barrel is it always advised to drop the speed about 20/30 fps with the hammer spring from the max peak to achive the best accuracy ? I mean do this rule work the same even on 700mm barrel, or you can have a shorter spread from the maximum peak like 10/20 fps becasue longer barrel are more forgiving, really thank you in advance <3

One beats none, and you will score better on future nights… I have had similar evenings and it is what it is. But when they cooperate? And getting up and out there, in the dark by yourself is the real challenge. So kudos to you…

Its all part of the pursuit, until you can pattern them, some nights you just get skunked. In reviewing some of my older rat Kill videos. I realized by the date stamps that the bulk of my kills came during June and July. So am bidding my limited time for few a attempts in the month of June.

So Peri supervises and does overwatch, while you‘re brush hogging and bush whacking? That Is one smart pup, glad to see the passion returning to your shooting. Takes a lot of effort to maintain such a sweet range… So who drove the remaining 3 hours? Peri?

I’ve been thinking of a new air gun since I only have 2. I’m imagining prices of most of the foreign made guns will go up at our USA suppliers run out of existing stock.
A good reason to buy a new aigun , just not sure which one.

Well, My friend and I took the gun apart and after observation and experimentation, it appears most likely that the ADL feature is malfunctioning and in effect, tells the gun it's already loaded. Thereby keeping the magazine from rotating. I've reached out to Marek at Taipan to send any info on the ADL feature so we can adjust/repair it to normal operation.

Set up the new courses last week, the off hand lane is almost 30 degrees...that is down from the previous cliff mounted target angle.

Great shot & video. We just put $$$ in plants this past week before some major rain hit ( again) . No sense spraying repellent as the rain washes it off. So before the plants dried a rabbit visited & "sampled " several of them ! My Queen has suggested strongly to make use of the the "lead projectile propulsion devices" to HER ( & MY ) advantage. Oh man , Traps, fencing , more spray & shaker bottles of repellent, then maybe,,,

It’s like a M3x4mm. And like I said, don’t tighten it up. Just snug. The gun isn’t a Harley.

Some of you may think I am a SPA fan boy. Maybe I am. But I have a P35X that has had problems the whole time I've owned it. I was gifted it by another member after he tried unsuccessfully to get it to make reasonable fpe. I quickly found the barrel port was way too small. It is a 25 and the port was 75% of a 22 bore diameter. So I drilled that out and it helped. Then I decided if that was undersized the passage from the valve to the barrel port was probably undersized too. It still did not make the power it should have either. FPE was lower than my P35-25 despite a much longer barrel and 60cc plenum. Then I made a mistake and forgot the valve is held in by a pin and applied too much force to the valve to try and get it out. I have it working now but it is making even less fpe than it did when I got it. It also puffs air back at me (I shoot from my left shoulder) despite a new O-ring in the barrel (actually two, I've replaced it twice). It also puffs air with two different barrels suggesting a problem with the pellet probe.

So it's a nice looking but weak shooting 25 at the moment. For a right hander the leaking breach O-ring would probably not be a big deal. It is not exactly unreliable and I don't think I've really helped it. But some of it's issues were poor quality control at SPA. I don't know why the original owner didn't just send it back. I like to think I can fix things but this one has issues that still elude me. But a ~25 fpe 25 caliber that gets at least 60 shots per fill is not useless. But that is after a lot of work.

But I also have 4 other SPA guns which shoot very well and have given me minimal if any trouble. I think the brand is pretty good, especially for the price, but I think my P35X experience also shows they make a dud from time to time.

This one is fun because with a short burst of auto it will take out woody plants up to a half inch. Mark

in my old heavy silver hampster from Raw the set screw and insert are 5/16-18 coarse. Martin may have used different ones at different times. Just make sure your set screw and insert are the same size.

I thought for sure some one with there machine shop would make a better pellet probe for the Notos 22??? I put some heat shrink tube on mine and it helps a lot with the pellet sliding in the barrel,,,,
Has anyone put a bevel on the barrel, Where the edges are not so sharp??? Seems like that might fix the problem of the pellet twisting ?? I will have a spare notos barrel in a week or two , I might try it .....
Everybody warned me about the Notos money pit , But its fun to work on and the big key is LEARN...Funny you buy a 2000 or well over gun and a few videos come out .
This cheap 250 dollar gun and there is 500 videos showing you how to tear it down build it up and screw it up just crazy...Lots of after market parts , Some just took the China hit.
