FX  Impact barrel lengths

My failures were mainly slug related but it’s also happened with pellets. But I’m talking heavy pellets related to caliber. The ones you’ll be focusing on if your punching paper at 100 yards. If you are sticking with pellets and want to dabble in 32 or less grain slugs, a 600mm will do as long as it’s not 30 caliber. Without going into great detail and spending twenty minutes typing, a shorter barrel is generally capable of getting you to the speed the longer barreled gun shoots a projectile with great accuracy. But it’s because of radical settings that the shorter gun is not able to match that accuracy.
Thank you. Very helpful!

FWB  FWB Model 80

This just sold on GB https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1085680256

Went for $465 which seems like a pretty good deal. I have not kept up with the springer pistol market, more a fan of the SSP’s. What do you guys think? Original? Everything there?
without the barrel weights it would hard for me to bid on it. I think it may be very hard to find them separately. The pistol is on my bucket list though. The weights are what separate the pistol apart from the 65 and the 90.

Indiana airgun show

Shout out to all agn members for helping to making this happen. If you can attend please do so. If this is a success then it will continue to grow. I have no affiliation with this but hopefully any airgun enthusiasts will attend.
Thanks for the “shout out”!

The show is progressing nicely. I’ve got a maximum of 98 tables available for vendors with only 11 left available.

Pyramyd Air, Shooting 7 Targets and Rhino Filed Targets have sponsored some choice raffle items.

Along with all the collectors and hobbyists who have tables we have industry members too. High Pressure Pnuematics, Skout, Serpent Air, Airgunwerks, JG Airguns, and Baker Airguns will be in attendance.

EDgun  Edgun Leshiy 6.1 Special Edition conversion to a shorty?

Its very easy on a Leshiy! I have 250mm , 450mm , and 600mm barrels for mine all in 30 caliber. barrels are easy to change. then just appropriate handguard. For the short 250mm I have a short handguard I put an AR style hand stop on it to make sure I don't get any fingers or anything in front of the muzzle! This makes a very handy truck gun. FX 50.2 grain pellets are doing 705 fps , 450mm are doing 835fps and 600mm are doing 900fps. So they are a very versatile gun and easy to work on.

Has any one take a deer or something with an AGT Netvor?

I didn't know it had come out yet, and yeah why is the world so quiet about it??
@steve123 It seems that AGT screwed the pooch and sent guns out to reviewers, bench rest styled long-range shooters, and paper punchers Instead of hunters. Once the videos are made and uploaded, then what? How many people are really gonna continue to shoot .45 caliber airguns for recreation?

i have plenty of Orings
i had to look hard for this answer and i assume it is correct
everything i read was measure the damn thing and figure it out yourself and in this case that is what happened
but i will be the first to tell you after chasing Oring ring sizes for 15+ years they can be tricky to find and to measure
oh i know all the places to find them but still
sometimes you take a flyer and buy several sizes and hope for the best

Rookie Mistakes?

I first bought a new in the box RWS Diana 48 .177 back in 2012. I was pretty accurate with 8.3gr pellets and iron sights up to 25 yards, until I began shooting with more modern Exact Monster Diablo 13.43gr (not the new "improved"); found out the heavier .177 with the weight of a .22, but with the flat trajectory of the .177 and with my 48 open iron sight was spot on at 35-40 yards...the maximum with my eyes.
Then I decided to go longer distances with the scoped PCP route with a hand pump.......BIG MISTAKE! Hand pump was a killer, then to further the "big mistake" I invested in an expensive compressor than had to invest in a quality moisture filter! Now I can be very accurate out to 60-70 yards.
However, I still prefer going back to my simple old 48 springer with open iron sights for 90% of my shooting....just feels so good in my hands and very, very satisfying up to 40yds which is my eyes limit; much more so than the longer range expensive scoped PCP with all its necessary expensive support items.

What is with the FX chrono V2 ?

In the settings options, you'll see a menu selection CALIBRATE - ADVANCED. This is where you set the sensitivity. For the one I was using, -1.0 did the trick. Mind you, I test down a narrow hall, so turning down the sensitivity worked for me. Otherwise, and movement would be picked up and recorded, including flies passing through the radar cone.
Gotcha thanks!! Are you sure that’s increasing sensitivity though?! I tried it with .22 and it seems it just knocks of 1 or 2% from the speed it read?!

With the .177 no change (meaning to issue with certain ammo still there no matter the setting).

Brocock/BRK  Brocock Sniper HR .25 got a Power Tune from AOA

Hmmmm...

Extrapolating from that information I'd guess they could pump my 14.5" barreled .22 Sniper XR pistol/carbine convertible up near 35 foot pounds.

On second thought, since I use her mostly for Extreme Pistol Field Target competition on power-level 2 due to the 20 FP power limit, Black Betty is perfect as-is. Matter of fact after doing the convertible work I had to reduce reg pressure to find 19.99901 foot pounds on PL2; that dropped PL4 from 30 to 28 FP.

I really, REALLY love my .22 Sniper XR; however she required a (warranty) barrel replacement by AoA. I then did a LOT of tuning and tweaking, both before and after the pistol/carnbine conversion. All the details are in the attachment.

Nice looking conversion!! I really like the .25 cal. as well

Kalibrgun  Cricket : Sudden velocity increase

In your rifle's case, it's actually going to use more air at the lower reg pressure as the dwell time has increased. The upside though is I think the consistency should improve a little. In any case though, you should really be setting the regulator pressure for a projectile you want to shoot and at the power you want to shoot it at, and THEN, set the hammer spring tension to achieve consistency and efficiency. It about the balance between reg pressure and hammer spring tension.
Thanks sir for the input.
