HPA Compressor Crossroads…?🙈

Thanks Jack.

Have been reading ‘all’ of your responses to various compressor posts.

Q. Do you know how easy/hard it is to replace a new power supply, should I go with the CS4-I? I like The convenience of having it internal. Not worrying about heat, because the unit is water cooled and I will baby the fills.

Not worried about the extra cost.
Replacing the internal power supply and/or the circuit board on a CS4-i is not particularly difficult. My friend had to replace both on his new CS4-i and I didn't hear any serious complaints. The CS4-i compressor is water cooled but the internal parts such as the power supply and the circuit board are not. I don't imagine that it gets severely hot within the case but when it comes to electronics less heat and less vibration is good and no heat and no vibration is better.

If you like the convenience of an internal power supply, I say go for the CS4-i. My CS4-i was perfect out of the box and remains so today - no complaints.

Airgun Technologies  AGT URAGAN MANUAL. FOUND

Any chance that any one here has had to replace the o-ring that leads to the fill port? I can’t figure out how to remove the air line (hose) on the front end, right up against the back side of the fill port. There isn’t enough room to get a wrench in the given space.

Spark plug socket, or the deepest and thinnest 14mm socket you can find.

Basically something like this :

Snowpeak  P35 trigger pull

Jim = My P-15, Bullshark & Pinty all have the same trigger set- up. I like that I can change the weight in about 5 min. I usually shoot in the ounces in my basement & about 1 lb in my yard. Instead of getting longer screws for the sear I put vibra-tite on my screw & haven't had any problems going up & down. Either way works though.

Reflecting of an old friend on Memorial Day

As I posted on another thread. I spent some time researching 4 heroes from my home town that died in Vietnam Learning a little about them seemed like the thing to do today. 4 guys from a little town in Michigan, seems like a lot. One was the older brother of one of my friends I grew up with. He was killed in 1966. I was 10 and remember it like it was yesterday. Here’s to the heroes 🍻

Thanks for all those welcome comments.

I did buy Hatsan Flashpup QE S .22 cal.

It was built in quiet energy silencer so i hope it will be quiet.

Was it really quiet, no.

I did try modify that qe silencer little better, but it did not help so much.

So i did order adapter for end that hatsan pipe that it can fit also 1/2" unf moderator and need to buy moderator.

That moderator was also hatsan and it did work ok.

After that gun was too long for with that extra moderator and i didn't want cut that original barrel "cover" pipe.

Also did test with moderator strait to barrel without that outer pipe. Gun barrel was unstable and pellets didn't fly where those should fly.

So i did find ebay carbon pipe right outer diameter and inner diameter was little too small.

That carbon pipe was not my own idea. I did found that some youtube video and also how to make that inner diameter correct with sandpaper with wood rod and drill.

Moderator did changed just litle shorter Hogan and it was better and more silent.

Later i did buy huma regulator and get tune for lower fps.

Regulator is set for 130 bar and last hammerspring setup was 4.5 open if i remenber right.

Now it shoot Jsb hades 15.89gr.
For 872 fps.

Better crono result are my old phone.
Those numbers it is silent.

Only can hear light hammerspring sound and pellet hitting for target.

I am just 45 years old dude.

Like everybody can see that English is not my own language, but i try to make sense.

Best grease for GX CS2 et al gear box

I use food grade green grease in my CS3 and have yet to have an issue. I have cleaned and regreased it twice in the 2 years that I've owned it. I am the second owner. The first owner used it very little until he upgrade to a bigger compressor for filling tanks. He went with the CS4 and I think he's upgraded again to the CS5.

Would you like a rifle combo, that shoots one CLEAN hole? YOU get to give your thoughts on how to price it!

What i was getting at is it is easy to take any airgun with the best of the best factory parts cherry picked to perform perfectly together. Like most company sponsered shooters. Their gun they use is certianly not the gun i would recieve. Looking at airgum competitor rifles i dont believe a single one of them rolled out of the factory as is. They all take tuning and monkeying with to shoot one hole groups. Atmospheric pressure and temperature alone can take a great shooting gun and just be ok. But it would be amazing to shoot one hole all the time think of all the competitions i would win ..im pretty sure id be famouse
Wrong. No one tunes guns before I get them. They come straight out of the box and half the time they are broken. I order many of them anonymously or from Europe. Like Hatsan Factors (all) M4 arrived broken, DSR broke, Black Wolf .25 is shooting 1 inch groups at 50 yards with all ammo at all speeds...how was your day? Epoch on off valve also broke today, so, bad day at work I guess. Many of the manufacturers actually hate me. Like Hatsan and FX and many more. The ones who don't like me, Pyramyd Air handles the promotion of thier guns. All guns get a fair shake, drama stays off screen. If the guns sucks, it doesn't make it to the editing room. You guys may never see the Black Wolf for instance.

Eagle Claw. 22 with slugs

Not that anybody will listen, but I've been shooting this gun quite a lot .the accuracy I see with my cast bullet has been very reliable.
An average 10 shot group at fifty yards is under an inch and a lot of times much better clustering.I get 30 shots per fill. Again not earth shattering but because I can cast a tin of 500 for just a couple of bucks makes it fun.

HUMA-AIR Memorial Day sale vs. tariff rates?

My understanding is that the China De Minimis rules as of May 14th is that a 54% tariff or $100 flat fee still applies to Mainland Chinese made products. Things change so often that I'm not keen to purchase anything from overseas. European tariffs are delayed to July. It's hard to keep up with the changes.
Yes, you are correct. I missed the 54%.

thinking

I sit here this AM with my first cup of coffee thinking of all those that gave all so we can sit here and type
Stan in KY .

Here is a picture of Memorial Day mid 70's (i am carving one of the turkey's ) this was my normal close friends group , Tent campers no matter the weather . P.S. i had my Tempest with . must have gone through 300 pellets
I was thinking about 4 guys from my home town that died in Vietnam. 4 guys from a little town in Michigan seems like a lot. I actually researched them all and learned a little about them. The one I remember most was the older brother of a friend I grew up with. He was killed on Hill 55 in 1966. I was 10 years old when that happened and I remember it like it was yesterday. Give the hero’s a thought today and maybe raise a beer to them for their sacrifice. Have a great rest of your Memorial day friends.
