Nothing like having your own compressor no matter what type or size, just don't push them past what they're capable of and keep them cool.

That's my thinking too, as well as the circumferential distribution of the weight. It's a genius design to get slugs into pellet guns. They're never the top performer on my tuning tests but they do consistently perform decent enough. In 22 I can't speak highly enough of the light javelins in 217 for fx liners.Think that the hybrid is primarly designed to shoot through choked bores of medium power airguns and they are optimized for that.
The soft lead and internal structure would compress and pass through the choke with less distortion/difficulty than a typical, solid slug.
The market for people with low to medium power airguns that want to try slugs must be pretty big, makes cents ($$$ ?) to go after it.
Just guessing here.
Cheers!
Yes it will work, you just can't use a maverick barrel kit on an impact as the shroud get in the way.Hi, does barrel and inlet assembly from impact fit on mav? On pictures the inlet looks the same, and there is no measures on the shroud in front, anyone tried?
I can get hold of a mav for a good price in .177, and i have 700mm assembly from impact laying around, would be nice if I could use it.
Did and went high to low. The first thing on the list was a hatsan. I was out. Lol.Want to see some cool stuff go to Buds gun Shop do a search for Air guns go Low to High. You won't miss out.
The single shot mode was why I switched to a mag fed gun… I was missing opportunities at multiples, other than that a seriously deadly close range pistol…I just got a PP750 from these guys. They have the 700 too.

I'm a fan of the 750! Follow up shots are quicker than my 700...
@igolfat8 Understood. Thanks for elaborating.I only get a POI shift when removing and replacing the moderator.
When comparing the vet 700 barrel to my RAW LRT barrels the Vet just seems to flex a greater amount when I push on it. The vet shoots really well and doesn’t shift POI as long as I do my part.
I would say if you're planning on shorter distances 50 and under, a quality springer is the way to go especially if you're on a budget.I can definitely see that. I can absolutely appreciate the simpler springers and the joy of knowing it's more skill than tech. Ive never had a quality springer so really don't even know what I'd be getting in to
