RAW Rapid  Are higher powered PCP's more difficult to shoot accurately?

Gerald in south Africa.. has alot of moderators, he sometimes use the weight if the moderator to tune the harmonics, you will see some of his high power slug buids using a Ronin, not particularly pretty or quiet but the Ronin is a heavy ass moderator to tame that barrel jump when the heavy slug goes out. That could be a solution in your case maybe a YOKOZUNA since like the Impulse could be change in size .. the YOKOZUNA weight 5 time more than the Impulse.
I never tried the larger DFL.
I found the STO Sarrisa was the best on my Gauntlet G30. I had a Sumo originally but there were some issues with accuracy. The Terminador big barrel band was the final piece. 40 yards and 1/2" groups ( on my good days). And full Gauntlet power.

Huma Mod 50 was as good as the Sarrissa. But that is on my AEA Terminator.

How many use the Zulus for...

I am trying to live with a 3-12 Zulus on my .30. But in the daylight even at 6X zoom, it’s worse than the cheapest scope. I was swapping back and forth with my Athlon but for the time being because the range finder feature is dialed in, I’m trying to stick with it. If this gun wasn’t a night gun, there is no way I could live with it over a conventional scope.

Great shot… I have 5-20zulus it’s definitely is more crisp than this. Doesn’t really get pixelated until x15 for me.

Airforce  Worst PCP ever and I am ashamed that I fibbed.

Airforce guns are a hidden gem. In modified form they are a tuners dream with potential to be very quiet, very very accurate, very powerful and most importantly very reliable. The beauty is simplicity.

It has what total of what 2 o-rings that actually seal and a valve seat. Less is more, in this case.

All of my highly modified condors and texans that I own are more accurate, powerful, reliable and build cost less than majority of Daystate, FX, Brocock , etc

I've owned Vulcans, Uragans, M2, M3, Brocock, Air Arms, Pantheras, Dynamic, Deltawolf, etc in various calibers and configurations. After all the guns I've owned none can match the power/performance/accuracy of my highly modified texan or condor builds and do it at lower fill pressures for less money spent.

I value each for what is was designed to do. I love Fx guns as much as I love Airforce guns. I Evaluate each for its strengths and weaknesses utilizing them for a specific intended purpose.

Each gun on the market has a purpose, if long range accuracy and power with Slugs or cast bullets is what your after. There isn't a better platform than Airforce

All I can say is those who know, know. If you don't know and haven't mastered the gun then you won't know. This means you didn't put forth the effort required to get it to the level of performance desired before giving up.

POI shift ?

7 gallon chlorine pool bucket, old BogPod tripod & range finder. Any of my four top pick’s in .25 caliber : Kalibrgun Cricket (version one), Taipan Veteran (standard or long, version one), Airgun Technologies ( version one through four, Vulcan II, Uragan version I) & EdGun R5m (standard & long). All of which are fed JSB King’s; No slugs (don’t need them). Variable winds ( up to Fifteen Kts .) in a canyon environment up to 50 & 55 degrees of angle ( upslope & downslope). Eastern European Babes rock, day after day, year after year!

Quality Equipment!

P.S. Scope = Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 mildot. No AO! Not needed!
Glad your having fun, that's why we have hobbies. But, you don't know what you don't know. So don't close your mind.

AEA  New Composite-Glass Fiber Stock for AEA Zeus

Oh, so it weighs more than the original? I thought it might weigh less. Nice looking though.
Thanks! Yes more, but improving the ergonomics is the design goal. I could trim the shape a lot and get it lighter but probably not going to get way below the OEM’s weight.

FX  Dreaded DRS bolt stuck in magazine/barrel

So, I posted this on Nate's topic also, same situation.

My Taipan Vet 2 did the exact same thing. Bolt wouldn't come back all the way 3 out of 10 shots, I had to pull the trigger and then it came back fine. The sear itself was too sensitive. I adjusted the sear and that was it. It's been perfect for the last 3000 shots. I suspect the same is with Nate's FX. The trigger is adjusted so that it performs near perfect, but sometimes a tweak is needed to make it reliable. Adjusting the sear on my Taipans trigger worked and did nothing to take away from how great the trigger still feels. Play with the adjustments just a little, you'll learn how to get the settings you want and eventually you will figure it out. It's not broken, it just needs tweaked s smidge.

My bolt probe set screw doesn't seem to be lose, and I don't believe that Nate's was lose either. If the sear is too sensitive, it seems that it can reset itself upon firing. If this happens, when you pull the lever back and it stops about 2/3 the way back, then you pull the trigger and hear a "click" and then the bolt is able to be retracted all the way, it's the sear. Obviously if the bolt probe does not retract when you pull back the side lever and the probe seems stuck, that probably indicate a lose set screw. Maybe there are 2 problems here...

hello Testing

The Notos all the way. Cheap, accurate, and fun with endless mod possibilities that you can do together. Could be hand pumped, but small compressors are so cheap now it's not worth the effort unless you want to use up excess 10yo energy;). Get the Can Can moderator and it's backyard friendly. If he's a big 10yo get the Zelos, $440 or less shipped at several places. You can't go Wrong with either.
Thanks for the advice! He definitely has excess 10yo energy that needs burning off. I might get the hand pump just to help build character 🙂.

GX CS4 100hrs Cylinder Pulled, Was it Worth It

@student, the more you spend on a high quality HPA compressor, the less complicated it gets...🙈

I’m not necessarily sure I’d say “the more you spend, the less complicated it is,” as the nature of generating HPA is complex when you’re running multiple stages in things. However, the more you spend, typically the higher quality and more reliable things are, meaning they require less maintenance. :)

Squirrel union meeting

My squirrel's union disbanded a couple of years ago due to lack of membership. My wife was on chemo and while at the cancer center the union members decided to destroy over $300 worth of hummingbird and bird feeders. They about have a quorum now to be able to vote again. Mark
