This coming from a guy like you has a lot of weight, Frank.
You must be talking about
the Heras in the
4-20x50 SFP (1") variety..... Because the 6-24x56 in either FFP or SFP is a beast: 32.3oz (916gr).
I can see that the Heras offers a lot, at a lower price then the Helos 4-20x50 FFP.
Heras: 2.6oz (73g) lighter
Helos: 30moa more elevation adjustment (100moa)
Helos: Ilumination yes
Heras SFP vs. Holos FFP, with gridded reticle
Same length
The Heras comes with all the other good stuff that all scopes should have, but so many don't:
▪Available in both MIL and MOA
▪Reticle and turrets speak the same language (mil/mil or moa/moa)
▪Turret zero stop
▪Turret revolution counter
▪Locking (windage) turret
▪Turret 10mil or 25moa per revolution
▪SFP reticle calibrated at the
maximum magnification (instead of 10x like so many)
▪Reticle center dot
I probably should start buying these and bringing these to Peru — this is A LOT of scope for LITTLE money.
Maybe THE BARGAIN out there right now! Thanks, Frank.
