Parallax error

I don't know a ton about the subject all I know is that it made my shooting much more consistent and my groups half the size but mark and sam after work is where I found the video titled parallax (for a better group) and what I learned is amazing maybe I sound stupid because this is shooting 101 but I've never heard of parallax error until now and I'm blown away by how much of a difference it makes these are 2 of my 5 shot groups from earlier today at 100 yds

Couple Brocock Questions

1st Gun: What is the power range of the Brocock Ranger XR in .25 & still be accurate at say 30 yards or so. *** I’m not interested in upping the power. Now known to be 20 fpe max. I am only interested in knowing it’s power range from factory and it’s corresponding accuracy.

2nd Gun: How high can you actually tune a Brocock Sniper XR in .177, beyond the stated 18fpe? Does it shoot any slugs accurately? Again, 30 yards or so.

Thanks

  • Question
Pest Permissions Central Arizona?

Been in Arizona for a few years now. I lived in central utah as young kid and spent a lot of time pesting local farms and ranches. Using my trusty crossman bb gun, LOL. My Brothers son introduced me to PCP about a year ago and I jumped in with both feet. He just shoots around his house. Well I'm in my fifties now and would like to relive my younger days and start pesting again. I'm very familar with firearms and I'm very proficient with my prophet and have all the gear. Was hoping to meet up with someone in the valley to shoot with and show me the ropes here in arizona.

Fixing Revere stock creep

Hey everyone,

SO this is actually my first airgun, the Huntsman Revere in 25. GOt the demo one from AOA. So far, its just a lovely piece, but anyways, I was feeling a little stock movement specifically near the front of the gun under the air tube. THe other areas feel solid, but there's a little creep in that front part of the stock. You can rock it and you would feel it move ever so slightly up and down. I'd turned the hex screw in front of the trigger as far as it would go, but it still creeps. Is this normal? Anybody got a solution for this?

Thanks

  • Question
Tuning  Marauder

I've mostly been a lurker and haven't posted much but I have a question that I haven't seen the answer addressed. Everyone touts the great trigger on the Marauder but right now mine is really messed up and I did it! I removed the lawyer spring first then tried to adjust the first and second stage and really got things messed up and can't figure out how to fix it back. If anyone has enough experience to explain the process, I'd sure appreciate it. I have little experience with two stage trigger. What I was attempting was to make the first stage short and light... similar to take-up on a single stage, hit the wall, then break with no creep and little overtravel. Is this possible? Thanks for any help you'all can give me.

  • Question
FX vs AGT

I am deciding a new gun for next year and I have narrowed down the brand of airgun to FX and AGT. I know that AGT is more of a point and shoot gun. While FX is a tuning gun. The specific models I am looking at is the FX Panthera, AGT Vulcan 3, and the Uragan 2. Between these three what one would be better. This is a short to mid range hunting rifle. 0-100 yards range. .22 caliber. Biggest game that will be taken is groundhogs or rock chucks. Weight ten pounds or less. Also want to be able to shoot pellets and slugs with minimal changes.

N50 Practice Cards with Annnie and RAW

Shot (4) cards today. Two with Anschutz .22 LR 64 MPR and two with my RAW HM1000x .22 HP. Wind was up a bit ( 3-6 mph ) per Kestrel at my bench and 5 yards downrange. Average was in the 3 MPH range. Had 2 flags out also.

Shot a 243 and a 242 with the Annie. Shot a 238 and a "216" trying out JSB Exact Diablo 25.39 g pellets. These are not the RDs. I thought they had promise at times, but then I did have four misses and they were very inconsistent. This is not the pellet Martin recommends for the RAW and I wanted to test and see. Not sure why the RAW does not like the pellet. These have a very shallow skirt cavity and seem to seat well in the chamber. Anyway, I only have ONE tin, and I will try them again for group shooting on another day.

  • Question
Brand new to this but want to get the most for my money

So I used an Airbow one and fell in love with almost everything about it (except the noise level). I was talking to someone about air rifles and was told that I should look into getting an air rifle and see about shooting bolts out of an air rifle. Then when I asked where to find out about my questions I was told to come here.

So now I'm here to ask questions and hopefully not annoy anyone with my questions.
So my first question would be, is it better to buy and arrow gun and shoot arrows or would I be happier if I bought an air rifle and figure out how to shoot arrows/bolts out of it?
And then how hard/expensive is it to convert an air rifle to an arrow/bolt rifle? And can they still shoot both arrows and slugs?
And then where do I start when looking for an air rifle that is able to shoot arrows?

Also I am looking to get this for cayotes and maybe deer as to size of animal.

  • Question
FX Dreamline Classic. Upgrades and tune suggestions.

I am interested in the FX Dreamline. I have done research and have seen a lot of aftermarket parts for it. Anyone that have owned or currently own one can you please tell me good tunes for it? Also if the upgrades can fit the classic version of the gun. Like the power plenum, Huma slug kit, and 600mm .22 barrel? This is a hunting gun.

Umarex Hammer

Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas.
My question is about the Umarex Hammer.50 cal.
Does anyone have any knowledge of them?
Is there a silencer made for them?
They look impressive and what little I've read up on them they have a high level of positive reviews.
I want to use it for deer hunting on my small homestead.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone.🎄
