Most fpe from my Avenger .25cal slugs

I'm making my .25cal Avenger into my dedicated slug gun. I'm going to be using my 38.5 gr NSA slugs. But I can't seem to get the right tune. I'm all over the reg and HS. I've tried all kinds of settings and only get max of 677 fps at 39 fpe. I need some advise before I re- finance my house to pay for all these wasted slugs

New pellet

1000032274.jpg

Hello everyone I'm new here and I wanted to ask if anyone has good results using the jsb match disable Hades (middle pellet). The fall In easy into the breach of my gun and arnt tight. While the copper magnum on the right does. I guess my gun likes longer pellets since it groups the magnums better ? I haven't used the poly mags on the left yet. Any recommendations on new pellets in .177 are much appreciated

Snowpeak  No step in pressure tube Artemis P15!

Hi again.
As per Huma we need to check the step inside the pressure tube and it MUST be equal or larger as 82 mm if we want to install the Huma XL version (instruction photo from HUMA attached).

The XL version here:

I opened my Artemis P15 , removed the chinese regulator and there is NO step inside the pressure tube, I triple checked, it doesn't exist!

This means I can install the huma XL version right?

Thank you

Diana  Diana 52 scope elevation adjustment

I may already know the answer, but figured I'd check with the experts to make sure before I start tinkering. I installed a new scope and one piece mount on my Diana 52. I adjusted the scope at 25 yards using Crosman 7.9g pellets. When I switched to using barracuda match 10.65g pellets it shot very low. I adjusted the elevation and there is no more up adjustment left on this scope. It is ok at 25 yards, but it would need to go up more at any greater distance. Previously I had a fixed 4x32 scope on with the same mount and had no problem getting the elevation correct with 9g pellets. I my question is it the scope, the mount, the gun or is 10.65g too heavy for a Diana 52? I don't think it's the spring as the gun is shooting 7.9g at about 975 - 1000 fps.

Other  Airgun for Squirrel?

Hello, what small airgun would you recommend for front yard squirrel hunting? I have nuisance squirrels that have refused to get in the traps since last September, and now the nerve of them, they are courting to reproduce in my front yard! No, thank you! I need something that can finally end the squirrels, but won't ricochet into the neighbors' yards across the street if I miss.

My trap has been a Squirrelinator, with peanut butter, sunflower seeds, various fruits sometimes, etc. why won't they GET IN...

Also, I don't have very strong wrists, so I might avoid the pump action ones. But it's not like I'll be using a whole canister at a time, and those can get pretty expensive if just firing a few shots and then the rest of it leaks out from non-use. I don't know much about these things... and could use some advice.

How to clean lenses inside Anschütz Adjustable Front Iris?

Hey guys.

I have this adjustable front aperture from Anschütz.

It’s constructed so that there are two internal lenses with the iris built between holes cut in both lenses.

I need to figure out some way to clean the inner sides of these lenses. The outer facing sides are no problem. But after months of outdoor shooting, they are getting a bit foggy on the inside.

Any ideas? Previous experience?

Thanks in advance!
