Hey guys new to the PCP. Im looking for a mid priced rifle to plink and target shoot in my back yard. Im a noon to PCP but not shooting. Ive converted my 1022 Ruger into my own. (custom barrel, custom trigger and stock) and been plinking with my Crossman and Beman in the backyard for years now and its time for me to step it up. What are some suggestions for me to consider. Id like to stick to the best bang for the buck in the $1500 or less catagory.

Ive narrowed down some options based on some of the following criteria.

• Shooting distance 25-100 yd plinking and field targets. NRL22 targets
• .22 calibur
• Regulated (accuracy over power)
• 2 stage trigger
• Magizine loading
• Tight grouping and accuracy is top priority. Target Shooting
• Picitiny or weaver rail for accessories like bipod and scope.
• Needs to be adjustable based ammunition selection ( pellets/slugs)
• Nice to have and high secondary priority would be to be able to swap to another barrel for a diffrent caliber.
• Nice to have shoot slugs and pellets from same barrell with out having to swap
• Nice to have a moderator/silencer as an included item.

What are your recommendations??
These are some options that I started to look at and thought might be good options.

This is an odd ball not sure if its all the hype around this modle but watching the reviews its like the best thing since sliced bread.

FX Impact 600mm 480cc is it as good as everyone says? My concerns are with all the complexity (tuning)and lots of pontential failure points (lots of o rings) and potential for leaks. With all that said I have not seen a lot of issues or negative comments about this gun. Most if not all of the reviews give it extremely high praise. So is it worth paying extra???
The IMPACT is really more than I want to spend. Id like to stick under the $1500 price point BUT if its that good i dont mind eating penut butter and jelly sandwiches for another month.

Thoughts on these or other similar style guns. I dont like the bullpup style or very traditional gun stle. I prefer a more tactical style as you can tell from my list.

For any Western Airguns Rattler owners in .30 cal what pellets/slugs have you had good or bad results with? I like to cast my own slugs but don't like the old shotgun approach
to ordering stock or custom molds. It can get pretty costly in a short time plus I don't like to have a bunch of unused molds and sizing dies lying around. What distances are you able to shoot with good results?

Does anybody know where I can get an air gauge for my Vulcan air rifle here in the states?

Hi all new to the group, so i have been gifted a hw98 in .177. When i cock it sometimes the cocking arm drops out or just jumps and then dosent cock. What is likely to be wrong with it?

I've been eyeing a Snowpeak PP20 for a better 10m-ish pistol that I can primarily shoot indoors in my apartment with paper thin walls, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the pistol? I know the last time they were discussed was months ago so I wonder if anyone has up-to-date info to share about it! Would a LP50 moderator adapter fit if it ended up being too loud for my use case?

Hey guys could use some help. I'm new to the sport and trying to do some research. What's the best caliber to use for plinking in the back yard up to 50-100yds? Should I use pellet or slugs?

So recently I won a few airguns in a storage auction here in NC and so forgive me because I am new to the sport but trying to learn more about how these actually function from an engineering stand point and eventually go on to use them this summer.

For the FX Impact... based on this diagram what number is it for the Telescopic Shroud / Silencer O Ring?.... is it B4 or A9... ::I am confused::

I am new to the forum. I have been shooting pests with an air rifle for awhile now. My question is about expanding my pest control to fox and coyotes. I live in NW Iowa and am looking to spend some time calling and shooting. My rifle now is a Beeman RS2 Kodiak. It is .22 as well as a.177 barrel.
I want to see what others think of my logic. I am considering starting with a .25 PCP rifle. And restrict myself to 50 to 75 yard shots. Once I am comfortable with that. Move to a .30 cal or larger for longer shots.
I value and appreciate your thoughts or comments.

Getting my first pcp this year. Most likely going to be the Brocock Sniper Magnum now I’m just debating which caliber. Going to be hunting raccoons and small game at longer ranges using slugs. Would love to hear from you experienced hunters!

I have a new Wildcat MK3 with the brass regulator. (same as Maverick) I want to remove the section with the regulator and replace it with a huma reg. The dreamline and the wildcat have the same outside diameter air tube, but I don’t know if the dreamline reg would work.

Which regulator do I need?

What else might I consider while doing this? (If I go down this rabbit hole). LOL.

Can’t wait to hear what I’m doing wrong . Sear will engage piston if I cock the barrel and push the safety forward ( trigger guard not installed) . But after decocking it will not reset the safety and sear won’t engage piston!

I will appreciate your advise about parts suppliers for a RWS 5G Magnum .177 air pistol. I`m looking for piston seal, piston spring and safety spring.

Hey fellow air gunners. So I woke up today saw a bird sitting right in the perfect spot so ran over and took the shot, holy crap sounded like I fired a .22cal rimfire. I have an fx Mavrick sniper .25 and the Donnie FL moderator. Do you have to repack these or what do you think caused this? Please Help!

I am relatively new to PCP and Avenger. I degas my rifle, set the regulator around 900 psi and fill it to 4000 psi. Then I adjusted up to around 1400 PSI.
Before that my rifle was very accurate at 40 and 60 meters but after this adjustment I am having big issues with accuracy. I am trying to figure out what might be the problem.
So my questions are :

1. If the regulator is jammed it affects the accuracy, the power or both?
Because I dont see any problem with the power, shooting xman 14.3 at around 850 FPS, the problem is the accuracy, so I dont know if it may be the scope (dont think so as I used it in another rifle and it works ok) or the rifle.
2. Is it normal (I didnt check it before the issue) that when the fill pressure is below the reg pressure, reg pressure drops and match the fill pressure? or this means there is a problem?

hi guys, im currently shoting an fx crown .30 in a sabre tac chassis with a 600 barrel and im loving it shooting the 44.75 jsb round about 889 and achieving some absolutely great results with my best group being around .82 moa at 100 meters (not yards)

but seeing as where i live my entire area is open and not too far from a lake i usually get severe winds around here (50 mp/h and up)

so for me to be able to shoot more and have less days where is just straight up cant shoot because of this wind im thinking to change to slugs, however i almost cant find anything online when it comes to a crown 30 cal and slugs. so my question what would most likely be a reasonable result changing to slugs? tuning wise. wich slug. wich grains especially
