Hello everyone! Long story short, I have had 1 pcp gun before, 6 years ago Walter dominator 5.5, so i am beginner with these. Now i did buy Tuned Aselkon mx5 with Cnc machined 20cm silencer(the guy was cnc worker) that has shot max 300 rounds, and have alot questions. It is the 60 joule factory model. There is no outside regulator, but there is? somekind "regulator" on there when you remove Air bottle or something. The guy had Drilled the hole there to 0.5mm bigger(he did not remember what it was on stock, he said maybe 2.2-2.5), and if i did understand, some other hole also 0.5mm bigger. Idk did i hear right, that the "regulator" was stock 130bar, but now it is based on his Calculations 160 bar. Also the Spring is Tightened 2 rounds. It is currently shooting JSB Exact king heavy 2.2/33.8g pellets 74-77 joules (chronograph). It is pretty damn accurate, I have not shot over 5 years, and did test shoot 1 magazine, and landed full magazine to 60-70m distance in size of Snus can (around 10 cm wide and 10cm high, or what is the size of Snus can). So now comes the questions! How much more i can get power out of this, and what i need to do ? Also, he has not try slugs, and i am going to go buy Slugs, So what Weight slug should i pick and how long do go in the magazine ? i did read somewhere it was 12.7mm ? not sure at all, so i wont buy wrong size. Zan/H&N and Altaros lead free is available. Also, Should i pick the size of 6.35 or 6.34 ? i would realy appriciate all help i can get .

Oh i did forgot, he allways filled it to 200 bar that is the max? or is it 220. And shot 20 accurate shots, then it drops to 160bar and then he did fill it again.

I have an avenger 25 Cal. I have the regulator set at 2000 psi when I fill my gun up to 3000 psi or more I only get about three or four shots. Before the air pressure in the tank is the same as the regulator pressure was wondering do I have an issue with my regulator. I’m asking because I’m new to the PCP seen

I depressurized the rifle and I thought the gauge would just be finger tight. It is not.

My name is Igor, I am new to this forum, and I am glad that I've found it. I have couple of questions that needs answering to me, as I am pretty new to air gun shooting.

I have .22 Mortal X from Kral Arms. It is zeroed to 50 yards flat line, scope that I use is Hawke Vantage 4-16x44 with side parallax adjustment. Shooting 21 grain H&M slugs.

1. When I shoot at 50 yards, as zeroed on a flat line, have no problems hitting the target, usually meta target.
2. When I shoot at 40 or 50 yards on live target, but on a 45 degrees angle, maybe even higher, I miss the target and I think that slug is going above, not sure to be honest.

So my questions are, first of all is my zero distance Ok, or should I zero it at lower range, maybe 30 yards lets say and then try to shoot on angle targets straight at center ?

And my second question is, if I keep my zero at 50 yards, should I aim lower while shooting at angle ?

Also, I have my parallax adjustment set up on 100 yards, should I play with it depending on the distance (using range finder of course).

I used slugs ZAN PROJECTILES 45.5gr/2.95gr but unfortunately I had stacked 11 in my barrel
I spend nearly 2 hours removing them so I won’t be using them as it seams anymore

Am just blind? Has no one made a disassembly video yet?

Hi everyone. Just joined today.
My 6.8 liter carbon bottle came with a one press dump valve, but I was thinking of swapping it out for a more gentle bleed valve, the one where you open the tap and bleed off a bit slower.
2 different guys down the range said I was crazy as the instant dump valve was far better for the gun. I fail to see that as it is quite a violent dump of all the air in the whip.
Can someone in the know give me the answer as I cant find any advice on it and dont want to swap it out if what I already have is better.

I just recently purchased an airgun from Krale and foolishly assumed I didn’t need to specify how to safely wrap an airgun.

Well, I was wrong and found out the hard way. You can learn from my mistake:

Krale did understand the concept of double boxing, but botched the rest.

1. If it’s a heavy airgun, the space between the inner and outer box should not depend on air pillows. They will burst when the gun shifts as the package is abused by whatever carrier gets their hands on it. Ask me how I know. There needs be bubble wrap or foam or anything besides those pillows which are not designed to protect heavy objects.

2. Ask them to tape all of the sides of the inner box to keep it from bursting open and dumping contents into the outer box. Be sure to ask they surround with enough bubble wrap to cushion it from a fall.


Check out the way they wrapped the inner box on my Kral. This looks like some thing I made up, but this is how they wrapped the inner box:


The gun, the pellets I ordered, and all the accessories were just loose in an outer box. There wasn’t a scratch on the air gun, so I guess I lucked out that there was only one drop or impact and not another once the items were loose.

I'm curious if the 400cc aluminum bottle on the DYNAMIC VP is the same diameter as the 480cc CF bottle. If i buy a VP will the same bottle mounted shoulder pad fit my current cf bottle? I'm guessing they're interchangeable but don't want to find out the hard way if im wrong.
Would a 580 be too long in the back?

So I need to purchase some scope rings for my new toys, FX Maverick Sniper combined with an Element Helix scope. Every other scope I’ve ever received always came with one and I accepted the ring mount height. So now that I need to get one is there a lot of difference in the manufacturer and quality? Especially from the same manufacturer, because there sure are differences in price. Am I wrong in thinking that the taller height would give my neck a break looking thru so I don’t have to cock my head too much over rifle?

Hello guys i have problem in my edgun leshiy classic with its speed i tuned it at jsb 8.44 speed 780 on huma sub 12 regulater after a while of shooting it suddenly be comes 600 without touching it i change regulater and put the original regulater after ah while its gives same result low speed

I guess I’m at a big disadvantage starting off in this sport. I’m a very nearsighted always wearing glasses, Right handed with an left dominant eye. With that in mind, ffp or sfp or would it matter? Are some scopes better than others in finding a target thru the lens quicker? Does the mm rating or the diameter, length of the scope body make a difference? Magnification? My goal is to become decent at 100 yds. and longer. I have a fx maverick sniper 30 cal, setting it up for slugs. Any thoughts or suggestions would be truly helpful and appreciated for scope selection. Oh yea less than 1k or my wife will kill me.

Trying to find an air leak on my FX maverick and suspect valve seat o-ring. Seems like the videos I’m watching all of them have a special tool or fabricated something for removal. Looking for cheap tool, idea, application to get the job done.

Hi y'all. I am new to air rifles, I'm a semi auto shotgun user but due to a very short and limited hunting season here in spain on designated hunting grounds, namely october to february and only on thursdays, saturdays, sundays and public holidays, Having permission on quite a lot of private land, and in order to not attract the attention of the authorities I decided to buy an air rifle, I bought a Hatsan 6.35 calibre (.25 in old money) 24 joules breakbarrel, scope, sound moderater etc. In the UK being over the legal limit of 16.7 joules this would require a full firearms licence. Anyway my point, is there any way to 'Tune it up', example get more power from it than the 24 joules it already produces..? It does feel powerful already and can stick a solid open point slug a good inch into a builders plank from around 40 yards, but would just like a bit more from it.

I added a Altaros Regulator from TalonTunes to my Talon SS. I need to readjust Regulator . In order to do this I have to remove it. How do I depessurize the tank? With 2000+ Psi I am a bit edgy on doing this. (AirForce Say's DO NOT dry fire) Loosen explosion disc screw a bit or slowly unscrew Top Hat valve from Regulator til it leaks slowly ?
BTW, Without the regulator I was getting 790-830 FPS Power wheel set at #8. I set the Altaros to 125 BAR now getting 640 FPS. Small change increase (650 FPS) at #10. Another Problem is My YH now shows 3000 Psi and the Talon only 2000 Psi, Altaros 140 BAR. Any knowledge on these questions greatly appreciated.

Does it damage o-rings? I visited their website, but couldn't find any FAQs or other info..might have to call their 800#

The info says cleans lead, carbon, and brass..
