I was the range practicing and, all of a sudden the shots started going right and down about 1 inch. Pellet speeds dropped from about 880’a to 845-860-ish. No real pattern cuz sometimes it would jump back to 885-890.
I was shooting within 1/8 inch at 25 yards prior to the issue. Has never done this.
Shooting 15.9 FX pellets and I haven’t heard anything unusual.

Any ideas on what would cause this?

Currently looking to order my first high-end Air Rifle. Budget for Rifle is $2500 , for Rifle alone. I've owned Air rifles all my life. I've owned all the top high end paintball markers from 2002 until present day. Comfortable doing repairs. But obviously the more reliable the better . Just a little insight into my past experience.
One other option would be the Airmaks Krait. Mainly would be shooting 40 yards or se. Squirrels, Raccoon, anything that could be taken with fur bearers license in PA. But I want to be able to take those long shots when possible. First purchase will be the worst due to having to buy compressor. So looking to make it count.
It's very hard to tell off of YouTube who really likes the rifles, versus who's a paid *****. Clearly most of the content creators are getting the gear for free, and they will not say anything negative. Clearly Fx seems to be top dog, and have the most sales and marketing. I was searching around and noticed there is barely any ar15/m4 platform style rifles and the ones there are not very powerful think any are coming?

Being a gunsmith and reloader I know and understand the importance of how a projectile is seated in the casing / barrel,but I have no idea where to start as far as setting the depth of the adjustable slug probe .is there a rule of thumb on this or is it a crapshoot?? Does the scope break or anything if we turn the adjusting knobs too fast cause nomatter how much I adjust the horizontal knob(the knob used to change the direction from left to right),The pellet will alwys shoot to the left of the target nomatter how much I turn the knob to make it go right

Trying To decide between the BSA R12 pro, the Weirauch hw100 or hw110 all in .177 . Mostly for target shooting.
The more research l do the more l find people having various problems with one or the other.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

I got myself a 800fps air gun and a optic(Beeman 3-9X40).But no matter how much I try, the pellet wont hit the target.I tried to zero the scope but no matter how much I turn the dial on the bottom right (The dial which which is used to change the direction from left to right) the pellet wont hit the target.

I would alawys hit the pellet about 4 inches left from the target.,I tried turning the dial right(about 20-30 clicks,when 2 or 3 clicks didnot work) but still the pellet will the same spot,eventhough I turned the dial to the right.
Why wont the pellet hit to the target no matter how much I turn the dial to the right.The horizontal height is correct so I dont need to change the dial on the top of the scope.

Am I doing something wrong?

Retired last year and finally got to repair my old Air wolf .177. It is an original. I had to put it in the closet for about 10+ years. it was fussy and consumed too much time.

So this is the first version with just the electronic trigger. Bought it used , and it is an extra FAC . Anyway , new battery , new seals
good cleaning and it works but has shot like garbage mostly. I bought a Huma reg and installed.

I Tried the huma at higher setting 140 bar , no resolution on the electronic settings, Just dialed it down to 110 , still the lowest setting is the best for accuracy. Any thing higher and the group open up. I plan on getting the 120-125 huma suggests.

Some problems with consistency, I shoot near 1 moa and then it opens opens up. It only shoots decent on the lowest electronic power setting.
I am thinking it is way over powered for accurate shooting, I am considering now replacing the main valve spring with something heavier if nothing else to give me resolution on the electronic power setting. Current one is about 13.3 in-lb, thinking of at least tripling it.

I did polish the barrel , it did help and tightened the groups. The barrel was loaded with lead dust and wax .

Even 10 + years ago , it never really shot all that well.

Just wondering if anyone else has made the journey here. advice appreciated.

I have a BSA Gold Star in 177 one mag. minty cond. Shoots great. But no listing in the Beeman blue book of airguns?what kinda vale is it worth?For some reason its not listed some of the other BSA's are? It caint be that rear? thanks Willy
