Evanix  Evanix Hunting Master AR-6K question?

Hello everyone in the know concerning this pcp. I've got a friend that's had this pcp for a little while and it's developed a leak. The last time that he filled it, it leaked down over night leaving it empty, we're wanting to know that if there's anyone that's still working on them? Some years ago, our dear friend Wil Piatt was the guru and master that replaced the seals in my CA 707 and I was very pleased at the work that he's done for me. If there's anyone out there that can help us with this problem, we would greatly appreciate it. TIA

Air Venturi  Air Venturi Repair Question- Avenger 25 won't fill, leaking, 22 Nova Freedom pump broken Who Works on these?

I have a great shooting Air Venturi 25 Avenger that won't fill, and a great shooting Air Venturi 22 Nova Freedom with a broken pump. Rather than throw them away, I'd like to get them repaired. I've reached out to Air Venturi via email and phone about having them fixed (on my dime) but no call back. Who else works on Air Venturi rifles?

Beeman QB II 1085 Magazine Mod Question

I just bought a Beeman QB II 1085 CO2 .22 air rifle

I live in Canada and was told by Beeman that ordering spare magazines is difficult because of customs between the US and Canada. They told me about a quick fix where I could put a Marauder magazine instead by removing a small pin in the rifle breech. The pin, they explained, was for earlier versions of magazines and now serves no purpose. I was told that you pull it out with vice-grips.

My question is: has anybody done this and is there a video on how to do it.

Thank you in advance for any responses.

Other  AG4P pistol a scam?

So this guy Maurice and his pistol that defies the laws of physics has been discussed before.
Since then there has been no update and he ignored all my inquiry emails.

He is now accepting "donations"

I remember there were a couple of members who know this guy in person and such.

Is he really a scammer? Does anybody know what's going on or can reach him?

the following is the link to his pistol

Thanks in advance for anyone who can chime in.

Airforce  AirForce Texan .257 Slug Velocities

I just started shooting an AirForce Texan LSS .257 w/34" barrel
Can any members share what they may be getting with slugs, 65,76,80,86 grains +/-
I only have 65gn NSA BTHP. Starting with a full bottle @ 3000psi I'm getting 1065~1080fps for the 1st 3 shots.
I have ordered the above slug weights, I'd be curious to see what I might expect for velocity.

N/A  New to the forum

Just wanted to introduce myself since I’m new to the forum. My name is Matt an I’m from Middle Tennessee. I’m fairly new to the air gun world so I’m still trying to learn everything. A close friend of mine recently purchased the AEA Challenger Pro so I’ve been shooting it for the past month or so. Mostly using it for pest control (possum, raccoon, armadillo) around his property.

I’m wanting to buy myself a gun in the next few weeks but I’m not 100% sure what I should get since I’m still fairly new. My budget will be in the $300-$400 range before buying a scope and compressor. Will be mostly using it for pest control and maybe a little target shooting. I know I would like to get something that’s somewhat compact, fairly light and comfortable as I’m a smaller framed guy (5’8 160 lbs).

Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated!

Beeman  Beeman 850 manual

I am new to this group and thank you for accepting me. I have a newly refurbished Beeman850 that I purchased in 1980. I. Haven’t shot it in 40 years. Recently rebuilt and shoots like a dream. What I need is a copy of the manual which I can no longer find. Getting nowhere searching on line. Any chance someone on this group has a copy they would send in a pdf file. Would also work with a Diana m6 or m10. Will post som pictures soon. Thank you in advance…Alan

Benjamin  Question about Marauder Bolt lubrication for smoother cocking

I like my .22 Cal. Marauder Gen 2 Synthetic Stock air rifle and I am trying to keep it as stock as possible. Recently my bolt just tougher to cock. I did search around and look into it. I took it apart, polished the bolt, polished the tube the hammer slides in, took all the edges off the groves the allen head cap screw slides in for cocking but I did not polish the allen head cap screw heads. Well it worked much better but 2 or 300 shots later it is getting worse again. I'm going to work on it again and finish the polishing job but I am wondering about lubrication.

I have read where you can burnish some dry moly into the area very sparingly and recommendations to not use any grease. I am wondering if spray lubes like WD-40 or Tri-flon would be suitable in that area. Seems like they dry and leave a very light coating of lubricant. Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Barry

Evanix  Evanix leak

I have an Evanix hunting master AR PCP pistol in .25.
after not using it for a while I can no longer get it to fill due to a leak at the filling site ( both hand pump and compressor) I do set in in the cocked position but no difference.Any useful tips without having to send it in for repairs? I’ve heard that spraying the seals with a bunch of silicone oil may help but I don’t have any sitting around

Other  Tethering pbba .457

I got a carbon fiber 14 cubic foot tank 4500psi and was tethering my pbba .457 today and I took 3 shots and the tank was reading 0psi (the 2nd gauge on the tank that shows how much air went into your gun) it was at like 3000psi.. is that normal it doesn't do that with my .401 and .257 I can just keep shooting and shooting is the .457 using so much air the guppy tank can't keep up?

Airgun Technologies  First world problems (I "need" this new gun . . . ) lol (( 700mm V3 in .22 ))

So the subject says it. ( lol ) I "need" another gun like a need another hole in my head but . . . I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one up from Tony @Talontunes. Keeping it simple I just grabbed one of the black synthetic stock ones. For those of you who have one - straight out of the box - am I going to be able to chuck at least 30g slugs at speed. Speed being 950+. My RTI P1 w/the latest RPB barrel is chucking 25g H&N HP II's at 965'ish quite well and that's "only" a 600mm barrel. Curious to hear from any of you who have one / had one how your experiences were with yours right out of the box. Thanks guys.

What Bipod to buy?

Because I felt I needed a wider stance bipod than the UTG Recon I have, I purchased the Accu-Tac FC4-G2 bipod. Currently using this bipod on a FX Maverick and a Daystate Red Wolf. But I found I don't like it as it's a too wide and not very portable for me. Yup, too many RMAC and EBR videos made me think this was the bipod for me...not. I'd like some input on a bipod that is more foldable to transport, but wider than the UTG bipod. I've been looking at the Scandinavian Arms Benchmark Bipod. Anyone using it? Thoughts? Any bipod suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And I'll be putting the Accu-tac on the classifieds as soon as I can find something that will work better for my needs. TIA Dave
