Airgun Technologies  10.5 bar pump for 200 bar cylinder

I want to switch to PCP airguns and I don’t know anything about physics surrounding their cylinders.

Can I use a Bosch EasyPump with these specifications to fill it or it will take too long or even damage the cylinder of a kral mortal x ?

Specs:
Battery voltage 3.6 V
Max. Ah 3 Ah
Max. pressure 10,30 bar
Max. pressure 150 psi
Max. pressure 1.030 kPa
Max. output volume 10 l/min
Hose length 0,2 m
Tool dimensions (L x W x H) 265 x 123 x 87 mm
Weight 0,430 kg

(photos of the pump attached)
I just want to avoid having to carry big air cylinders around or use manual pumps if possible (ME SO LAZY 🙃)

FX  Impact M3 lowest scope mount options?

I have the M3 and I was wondering if there is a way to remove the top picatinny rail (it looks like two screw are holding it) and mount some 3rd party rail that is low profile, so the scope can get a good half an inch closer to the barrel. Has any of you guys done this? If so please post some pictures and links. Thanks!

N/A  Barra 1100z .177 slugs

I apologize in advance if this has been asked before. I am wondering if anyone has ripped any slugs out of the .177 barra yet. I have zero experience with pcp airguns and just recently purchased an 1100z and am curious if it will shoot them well or not. I live in montana and the with is pretty wild here so I am needing something that can cut through the wind while I am doing some pest control on some ground squirrels. Any input would be appreciated and again, I am sorry if this has already been discussed before.

Play in the Zero Recoil Scope Mount

Hello all! Im kinda new to the group. I sure do appreciate the huge amount of knowledge there is here! My question is really simple. And first off, I do not mean any harm/ disrespect to Hector Medina in any way at all. I recently purchased a Gamo Swarm Magnum in .22 cal. For pests at my home. Almost immediately dealt with scope issues. So I purchased the zero recoil scope mount (the chinese version). I noticed the amount of play in the rails, and read most all threads on "pinning" the rails with grub screws. So...I started the modification of mine. Drilled, and tapped out corners for 4mm teflon grub screws. Does this resemble in any way the way Hector has done his?

Airgun Technologies  AGT Vixen long 22 unknow problem

I recently purchased the Huma-Air Tuning Regulator as well as the bottle adapter so I can run a larger bottle with M18X1.5 threads. I picked up a 480cc used Daystate bottle and the max fill pressure is 250 bar not 300bar. I double and triple checked that I installed the Huma-Air regulator correctly. At first I hadn't looked up the fitment instruction but after doing so it fixed the leak buy adding the oring that it did not come with but is on the stem of the AGT reg. I had my factory reg turned up, as well as a little cheat for a heavier Hammer spring by preloading the spring with the appropriate sized washers. Went from shooting light weight and I mean very light weight .22 pellets too. After making those adjustments to the stock regulator and the hammer spring I was easily shooting the .22cal 22gr XL-HP Varmint knockers easily over 1000fps. But there is a price for that high power tune. The Vixen does have a 300bar fill, however I believe the CF bottle is only 200cc. So you're just using up air so incredibly fast, and I'm maybe a month away from buying a compressor that will fill my bottles. So I went ahead and purchased the Huma-Air Tuning Regulator for the Vixen as well as the bottle adapter which allows you to put any bottle on that has the standard M18X1.5 Threads. I replaced all of the orings I could manage to find in the area where the bottle connects to the gun and throughout the part that holds the regulator. The Huma-Air regulator will not work in my Huma-Air regulator tester, not sure if it's a size thing or if I can't test Regulators that small. Before doing any of this the gun was shooting 1000fps plus no problem. Now it's twice if not 3 times as loud, went from 1000fps to 700fps. There is a small hole under the regulator housing. That's where it was originally leaking air from before I added the oring to the stem of the regulator. I have to completely de gas the gun each time I make an adjustment, which wouldn't be much trouble if I had a compressor already. Couldn't tell if perhaps I had turned up the Huma reg too high and the hammer wasn't smacking the value with enough force so I turned it down from 160 to 145 and the issue remained, fps dropped to 600 and it was still very loud. Mine is set up as a left handed cocking. My AGT Uragan King in .30cal is left handed as well as my RTI P3 .22CAL. Anyhow, the Vixen is not a Bullpup like the rest of my PCP'S and the cocking lever is next to the magazine well. I can feel a rather large amount of air coming out of where the magazine slots in. It never did that before. Lastly to make sure it wasn't the huma regulator I installed my stock AGT regulator in there and tested it again and it did the same exact thing. Also it was leaking from the small hole in bottom of the part which houses the regulator but it was extremely slow. I am running out of any solutions, I love my AGT Vixen and I would greatly appreciate any helpful input or suggestions. I appologise for the super long story and greatly appreciate those of you who took the time to read this monster lol. You can email me personally as [email protected] or feel free to call or text me at 480-823-2732. Thank you so very much! Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

Daisy  Daisy 790 (S&W 79g copy) Reseal

I recently picked up a Daisy 790 in pieces and decided to put it back together this afternoon. A previous owner had replaced some of the seals, but left the original exhaust valve and small o-ring in the piercing assembly. Once everything was cleaned, lubricated and all new seals and valve installed, it works just fine. Results from a string across my chrono showed 446 fps average for five shots, with an SD of 2. This muzzle velocity was measured while the pistol was on the lowest adjustable setting, and matches the figures put out by Daisy.

IMG_6266.jpg

This pistol was made mid 1981. so it's still more S&W than Daisy. That said, there are some Daisy differences I thought I'd point out for others working on these pistols.

IMG_6259.jpg

Daisy changed out the trigger spring and added a plastic seat (visible under the tip of the exhaust valve. This isn't the drop safe trigger they would eventually changed to, but it does increase pull weight to about 5 lbs.

IMG_6261.jpg

The hammer spring is quite a bit longer than a typical 78g spring. No doubt this it the main reason for the increase in velocity over a standard 79g. The factory service manual advises that original springs in Smith and earlier daisy pistols should have their hammer spring replaced to the new longer one.

IMG_6268.jpg

Every 1981 780 and 790 made after the first batch (which were just rebranded Smith pistols) has a loading trough that was reamed oversized. This results in more slop in the bolt which requires more attention while loading than on Smith pistols.

Omega HP3 Valve: Received Without Packaging and Appears Used - Need Clarification on Gauge and Original Packaging

Hi everyone,

I just bought an Omega HP3 valve, but it arrived without any branded packaging, only the delivery box. It looks slightly used with some scratches and fingerprints, which is frustrating since I paid for a new one.

The gauge says "Hydro Tech," but I’ve seen other HP3 valves with Omega brand gauges. Is the Hydro Tech gauge standard for this valve, or is it from a different model?

I also can’t find any unboxing videos or info about what the new HP3 valve packaging looks like. Does anyone know?

I want to get more info before making a formal complaint. I’m concerned about using a possibly used valve with my high-pressure tank (9L).

Thanks for your help!

FX  Need help with an air leak on a FX Dream Tac filled to 220 half hour later gauge is at 150 HELP. Canged the bottle, both guages went down to 150.

Need help with leak on a FX Dream Tac filled to 220 half hour later gauge is at 150. Changed the bottle, both regs went down to 150 IN A Similar time period after topping off at 200. Nothing was loosened or tightened to create the leak.

  • Question
FX  Bad valve? Maybe?

My gladiator mk2 used to get 120 shots per fill at an avg of 890fps I was having problems with it leaking when filling past 2500 psi or so. I took it apart to change a seal in the front air tube to fix the leak. Now a new problem arose. When you remove both air cylinders from the main block because of the regulator, it should hold air which needs to be released before you can take the gun apart any further. When you take the cylinders off all the air would leak right out of the block which led me to believe it was a bad regulator. I replaced the stock regulator with an aftermarket hum regulator now instead of the 120+ shots that I used to get I get around 40 in a shot string that looks very similar to an unregulated gun. The speed plateau and then slowly drops off as the pressure drops off and instead of getting the 120+ shots from 3000 down to 1500 I get 40 so I’m losing air somewhere starting to think that it might be the main valve. Anyone have any experience or advice for me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
