I'm a newbie to the site, so if I am not doing something right let me know. I recently disassembled my barrel, reassembled it.
Now I can only get around 820 fps, with a 18.55 pellet on full power. I discovered an air blast from around the front scope rail when the rifle is fired. Are there any ideas?
There was a very small o ring that I was not sure of. I placed under the big lug screw with a point on the end. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone just a quick question. I bought a used M3 never had experience before. I notice when I point muzzle down then quickly up there is a rattle in the middle of rifle. Sounds like something is loose like the hammer spring and hammer. I heard that this is common.
when I cock the rifle/bolt back and I again shake the rifle the sound disapears.

Is this normal to have this rattle? I can live with if I know it’s normal? If it’s not normal how can you fix this???

I have been using a 747 as a practice tool for RF Bullseye this winter and have developed a real appreciation for this air gun. I had to rebuild the pneumatics just recently and wondered if the air valve would last longer if it was in contact with the seat of if it would be better left in the "fired" (valve open) condition while at rest? The previous rebuild went about 3000 rounds & began to lose air. The failed air valve showed just the slightest ring in the delrin but I guess it was enough. With parts so scarce, any tips to extend time between rebuilds would be appreciated. This is an addictive accurate little gun to shoot.

Quick question, any body have any experience with modifying the return spring on the umarex Notos poppet valve? Im trying to maximize volume of air (extended barrel) to push some slugs hard.

Any suggestions on a good replacement spring?

If I have to take material off the spring how much should I go? I would prefer not to have to do this of course. I like to preserve all my stock parts.

I just received my Crosman 2240 xl. Have watched several videos that show that this gun makes quite a crack when fired. I don’t want to attract attention in the neighborhood so I’m looking for a moderator to attach to the end of the barrel. I’m thinking something in the neighborhood of 6 inches preferably with a squared end rather than tapered. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated thank you in advance…. Alan

Does anyone have any experience with this compressor? This is the first compressor I am seeing that runs on its own battery. That would be an absolute game changer for me in the field. At the moment I am bringing my small orange Chinese compressor to my truck, walking back and forth from the truck to refill. It isn’t really a fun process. If anyone has anything to say about this compressor I am all ears! Thanks!

How effective is the DonnFl Tatsu on a FX Impact Compact in .22 when shooting JSB 18.13s at around 900fps.
I want to keep my compact short and quiet.

I bought a used Benjamin Armada a few months ago with aftermarket regulator. It is real accurate but lately I have noticed it is leaking about 100 psi per day. It has 2 gauges, the regulator gauge. The 2 gauges don't match in pressure readings. The guns tank pressure gauge will only read up to 1900 psi when the regulator gauge is full at 200 bar. They only start dropping together when the regulator is 1900 psi. That has not been a problem but the leak is a problem. Who would you recommend to repair the leak.

I recently purchased a Bulldog M257. Like all my other rifles, I did the initial zero at 50yds. Considering the longer range capabilities of this rifle, would it be better to zero at 100yds to reduce the amount of holdover needed downrange, and figure in the hold under for closer range?

I have ordered and returned 2 bipods and I can’t seem to find one that fits perfectly on that little pic rail between the trigger guard and bottle.

Even though I've shot each one separately at 100Y before lately I wanted to see how these different guns and slugs stacked up in groups against each other. Actual distance was 102Y and the wind was 2-5 mph full value on 2nd day try.

Upper right groups were out of my Uragan King 25 caliber using 29gr NSA slugs/.075 G1 BC at 870 fps/48.75 fpe. Recently I reduced the power down from 925 fps for a different match format requiring sub 50fpe. Looks like I have some reg creep because the first shot would hit way low on day one and day two. The larger group was the day before and twice the wind. Just previous to the smaller 5 shot group on day two I shot a few shots lower into the steel to see how it'd do without them included. I wish this gun shot like the Vulcan 3 does all the time.

I like the King because it's a repeater and it'll do a hundred shots or so without having to refill. I think I better have it get new orings, reg rebuilt, and tuned. I'm considering trying it for a FullMonty 72 shot course at UFT.
The Vulcan 3 .25 caliber has always been a great shooting gun using Altaros 60gr Queen with G1 BC of .245 at 862 fps/99 fpe. Derrick Wall of Tenacious Airguns tuned it for me and he's a expert. It did the two left groups at approx 1". It pretty consistently does this. Only problem is I have to use this slug in the gun as a single shot only. I've won a few UFT matches in slug division with it. BC, BC, BC and man it knocks down those steel targets hard!!!

my question is what is the best tune or speed for H&N .22 34gr slugs. I am shooting them out of a FX maverick at 945 fps but it seems like I am getting some flyers but I am not sure if it is due to my tune or speed that I am shooting them.

I am trying to fill an FX2000/tarantula. I have a scuba tank and it's flat empty on the gun side.

I have tried cocking , the quick blast of air and it's still just rushing out the barrel.

What else can I try?
-Put a pellet to block the transfer port?
-Block the end of the barrel with a plug ?
-lightly tap the action to get the valve to close ?

Newbie here - planning on a B-mod and will mainly shoot between 20 - 70 yards and was thinking about a Genesis 6-24x50 FFP $204 delivered Occasionally maybe longer. Is this a bad idea?

When I purchase my 1st rear bag, i just choose a popular brand that seemed like it was high enough work with my rest. I really didn't know what to expect.
Found out that the height was too low, so i made a block of wood as a riser and got a dead bottom. Everything seems to be working just fine. I did the testing on placement and reset to that spot. But i still wonder if this is the right set up.
My questions are; What are you looking for when purchasing a rear bag for BR?
It just seems to be hit/miss if you are getting one that works with your set up, did you also see it this way?
Do you fill the bag as tight as possible? Do you fill the ears the same?
How do you know if you have the right one? What are indications that you have the wrong one?
How many did you have to try to find the one that worked?

I am looking for a regulator compatible with the PCP rifle Aselkon Ravello RX5, capable of maintaining a power output of 52 joules without limitation.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer a specific regulator online, and other manufacturers like Altaros have confirmed that they do not produce regulators for this model.

If you have any recommendations, ideas for compatible regulators, or reliable websites where I could make a purchase, I would greatly appreciate your help. Any advice is welcome!

Ok - Narrowed it down to the Benjamin Marauder Weihrauch HW100 Long barrel
Picking .22 cal and need quiet for back yard shooting of mainly targets at 100 ft and squirrels.
Need to get a scope pick and want comments --
Marauder seems to have a few air leak comments on the web -- not sure if this is just a one off.
