Does anyone have one, what are your thoughts on the rifle.

This will be my first time taking part in a shooting competition, which is at a distance of 35 (sitting) and 50 meters (bench rest). I have an FX DRS .177 using H&N Baracuda 10.65gr pellets shooting at 830 fps apprx. This set up is pretty accurate at 20 meters (only distance available to me). Will it be useable for the 50 meter competition, or do I need to change anything here? Any help would be appreciated.

What’s your craziest PCP build? What did it cost you? Purpose of the build? What was your dumbest build?

Heres mine. PROD with a DNT Zulus with a DFL Ronin on. At first I had put it on just to laugh at it but it honestly works pretty good. Looks funky. Purpose is to get these pesky rabbits at night. I have to be silent as I live in the suburbs with a 25 yard max shot. Shooting CPHP 14.3gr at 650fps.

Spitzer slugs ??? Anyone?anyone? big game getter or not necessary? I like em out to 150 yards for deer one hell of a shot anybody run into this scenario?

I want to buy one of these two but I would like to know which one is better for use with pellets and slug ?

If you have a minute I would like to pick your brain. I finally got my at44 going and I have the HS turned almost all the way in and getting about 50-55 shots between 200 bar full to 100 bar. So I thought I would be able to increase the number of shots by adding a hatsan regulator. It seemed like it went together well. No obvious leaks but my shot count is now at about 40 shots on a fill. I'm trying to do this without a chrono but thought since I was just looking for more shots I could do without one at this time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks


One more thing. The hatsan regulator is different now. The plastic plenum has been replaced with a metal one and looks more like a huma. Don't know if that means anything. Instructions are non existing

having been out of the fx impact scene for the last 18 months, i am thinking of getting a .25 cal FX impact M4 in 700mm, this would mirror what i used to own when i had a M3 in .25 cal ,my question is will my old tune for shooting 41g slugs at 960fps( sub moa @100 yards), get me somewhere in the same ballpark with this new M4? my old M3 was a stock rifle with no internal mods, obviously the M4 uses the one reg but that is the only difference, i intend to keep everything on the new M4 pretty much the same.

old M3 tune - front reg 175bar-rear reg 155 bar- macro 16- micro 4.75-valve 14mm off the block.

Is there an o-ring kit you would recommend that would be good for GX compressors, specifically the CS3? I have to replace the little o-ring inside the bleed valve assembly on the CS3. I can’t measure it due to its condition (does anyone know what size it is?). Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to keep an o-ring kit on hand for this and any other o-rings that might need to be replaced.

I'm thinking of purchasing a used Diana model 52. I've found one in .177 with T01 trigger and I'm wondering what price range should I be looking at? Is this a good trigger? Also is the .22 or .177 more desirable for this model?

Hi guys wondering if anyone can help me I was adjusting the hammer on the back of my rifle as I turned the Allen key to adjust a load of air started coming out so tried to turn it back but all the air released out.. is this a o ring that has broken?? And a simple fix or is it more ? Appreciate any help

On the hatsan at44 177 has anyone come up with a simple solution to making a clip or something to hold the extra pellet cartridge on the rifle.

Hi folks, I have a Beeman QB Chief in.177 that I purchased 2 or 3 years ago. Today is the first time that I have got it out and really shot it. I had put a Red Dot sight on it but after shooting it I'm really not satisfied with it. The rifle shoots pretty well and it seems like I'm going to get quite a few shots out of the 2000 psi. fill. I didn't shoot it across my chrony but it seems to be shooting pretty hard. I was shooting Crosman Premier Ultra Mag. 10.5 gr. pellets. My backstop was a old traffic sign and the pellets were making a good dent in the thick metal. I was wondering if any of you have had any personal experience with this rifle and what kind of accuracy I can expect out to about 30 yards. Also how I can expect this rifle to hold up. It seems to be built pretty good and it is a good looking rifle. What are your experiences?

need to put a new washer/o-ring for the PowerPlenum and it looks like there are 2 different types of brass/metal washers with rubber in the center hole. What are these things called and where can I find them? Looks like the ones i need are the thinner variant.

If anyone has experience with the avenge-x and the powerplenum and having trouble getting it to seal, please let me know how you solved this.

Thoughts on these ? Alot of guns don't like em ,why??are they the better pellet for hunting?and why did they stop at a low caliber I've heard the legends of the predator polymag 50 cal lol.

Anyone shooting 177 find that shooting higher fps improves accuracy? If so what FPS?

Hi everyone, after I bought my rifle my regulator would idle at 110 bar but would settle to around 100 bar after a few shots. Now that I have shot over 500 pellets it seems my regulator has been steady at 100 bar. Usually it would go from 110 to 100 from a 200bar full cylinder to 150 bar on the cylinder.

Not trying to complicate it but what I'm trying to say is it's 100 bar from topped off cylinder till it starts to struggle at around 120 bar and below on the cylinder (slow stabilization)

Is this normal? Was my rifle intended to be at 100 bar? And it's just the regulator settling in? Do factories set a buffer on new rifles or something.

I left my HW30 cocked and loaded for about three months. Speed was down to 530 when I ran it over the chronograph. I had a Vortek Steel kit PG4 for the rifle and installed it this weekend with the VAC seal. No issues with the install, everything went smoothly.

I ran it across the chronograph with H&N FTT 8.64's and was only able to get 580 fps for about 6.5 fpe. Vortek's website says the kit is good for 7 to 9.5 fpe with the VAC seal installed.

I cleaned the inside out and used a small amount of the grease included with the kit. I applied a small amount on the outside of the VAC seal and spring as instructed. Was a simple install with no drama. However it is slower than I expected.

Any recommendations on how to get it a bit hotter? What did I do wrong for it to be so slow? I have shot about a hundred pellets through it and no changes to velocity.

I am wondering what tuning secret I am missing.

In your opinion where does ur airgun do the most damage ,in wound channel, first impact, 1 inch in or at exit wound point ? And what ammo do u prefer ??

I have a swarm magnum gen 3 and it has killed every scope I've put on it. 4 to be exact. So I'm going to make the jump to pcp air guns. I got on the classifieds section to look for a good used one but have to have posted 10 times and had 10 days of activity. So here's my 1st post. Seems like a great resource for information.

What's ur favorite gun for hog hunting we are talkin the big Nasty boars what caliber and ammo type ro get thru that nasty front end of theirs easy drop? Or run away and gotta find em?

On range tomorrow got a M3 .30 700mm barrel and slug power kit fancy Zan 54gr any good starter FPS please. Also taking my M4 .22 800mm thinking 40gr or 34gr again any starting points for FPS.

How important is the initial energy dump rt after impact a factor when u shoot for hunting, or gel test for that matter or do prefer a long wound channel .what do folks think ?
