FX  FX Crown regulator??

Bought a Crown MK2 off classifieds and just went to fill gun and noticed that reg pressure was going up with the fill, at 225 bar reg gauge read 225 bar. I shut compressor off and fired 5 shots and reg went down with pressure gauge but stayed there. When I started fill reg gauge was on 145 bar.
Does this mean reg is junk or some how stuck?

Tuning  Hammer spring preload??

I have been trying to perfect my maverick .22 BT compact to shoot 25 grain pellets but for the life of me can’t get my Allen key to fit into the hole for the adjustment. So… can anyone please recommend what I should set this thing to? Ernest Rowe recommended 6mm in an old video about disassembly but what about actual tuning? Should I max it out and slowly adjust backwards? Kind of a pain until I get a new hex set. Currently set to 6.33mm and at 110 bar was shooting 18.13 grains at 880 fps

edit: have 3 hammer weights to chose from as well. 4mm 11.g 6mm 12g and 8mm 13g

Airforce  Regulator Choice for Airforce Talon SS

I am the original owner of an older generation pre-Spin Loc Talon SS. I guess my thought process was that I'd like to have a gage that shows the tank pressure and a quick fill Foster port, like on a Spin-Loc, but for the money to update to an official Spin-Loc I might just as well add a little extra money and get a regulator.

The two best choices seem to be the
Huben Power Cricket-MAX-TopHat Regulator with a 50CC plenum

and the plain Cricket 20 cc plenum regulator

In what circumstances does the additional air in a larger plenum make a difference?

I'm handy with tools, but have yet to find photos or a good description of how to remove the original threaded collar from the Talon's frame. Where is / are the set screw(s?) to remove this and how difficult is it?

There is also the Huben Superwell regulator, which looks like a regular Cricket but in silver instead of black.
Anybody know what's different about it other than the color and being almost $20 less expensive?

Huben's U shaped regulators that create a buttstock and an even larger plenum look interesting, but more money than I'd want to spend at this time.
I have read mentions of other regulators from PCP Tunes, but I can't find the web site, so that appears to be out of business, and regulators from I think Doug Noems but again, didn't find a store with his products. If there are other good choices you've been satisfied with, I'd be interested in reading about them. Whatever I get, I want gages for both tank pressure and regulated pressure and a Foster fitting. AliExpress has less expensive regulators, but I've read comments that it's a gamble whether they'll maintain the same regulator setting over time.

FX  FX 22 cal. barrel liner I.D.

Have just picked up a new Impact M4 Sniper in .22 cal. and before I start testing loads of different slug diameters I wanted to do a little research into what the barrel ID is. Does anybody know if FX aims to achieve a specific bore dimension or do all the barrels get spat out with .003" to .004" tolerance?

And a second question...
If I have to go down the road of testing three or four different slug diameters what am I looking for when testing? Velocity changes, accuracy inconsistencies, a jammed slug in the barrel. What are some of the signs that determine one slug is too narrows and another too thick?

Answers and advice are greatly appreciated.

EDgun  EdGun Leshi 2 pressure question

I have an Edgun Leshiy 2 with the largest bottle, which has a max fill pressure of 300 bar. I've only put 16 shots through it so far. After my last shot, I refilled the bottle to just under max (298 bar). However, after a couple of days, the pressure dropped to 286 bar.

I refilled it back to 298 bar, but after a couple of days, it dropped to 290. I topped it off again, and after a few days, it was back down to 286. No shots were put through it...only pressure added.

I reached out to the manufacturer, and they suggested that the pressure fluctuations were likely due to temperature changes. My only other PCP, a Huben GK1 (which has a much smaller air volume), doesn’t seem to experience the same issue.

Can anyone confirm if this is normal, or should I be concerned about a potential leak?

BSA  BSA Airsporter mk6

Given an Airsporter mk 6 this weekend, lovely looking rifle for sure..rusty barrel with some surface pitting but nothing too bad..rear sight broken, elevation wheel missing, windage screw snapped inside of rear sight block, the V or viewing notch missing.. apart from that it's doing well for years old..
Blank fired once to make sure it worked, no air escaping from pellet feed tap, it has a nice loud SNAP sound.
Ok, so what should i do with the rusty barrel? I dont want to spend more than its worth but would like to smarten it up.
I don't know how much they sell for either.
I can see a complete rear sight is around
£30 but at this stage should I forget that and fix a scope or something else?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Cheers

I made my own reticle on chairgun

Long story short, I just found it funny a bit, at first I found a reticle similar to my reticle on chairgun but still looked off somehow, and it kept throwing me off to the point I thought my scope sucked or my rifle is inaccurate lol. Until I found an option on chairgun elite to make my own reticle, long story short I spent an hour or so trying combinations to make it match my own Mrad scope reticle. I did a 70 yard group before hand and I was consistently shooting 5 dots lower. Previously the app was saying only 2 dots holdover. However after I made my own reticle on the app a 70 yard distance was showing a 5 dot holdover just like I experienced today while shooting. I will show you guys my reticle and the one I made as well as the settings I made maybe it helps someone in the future to know that if their reticle is not accurate with their app or not available they can make their own. I think I nailed it with mine albiet it was mostly guesstimating but hey if the poi is the same as where I'm hitting them it's correct right?

I'm attaching also a freehand (I wasn't on a table) group I did at 70 yards as well with some wind 4 shots I think I did ok for a newbie

Hour meter for PCP Kong Lil Foot

Hi folks,
I have a PCP Kong Lil Foot (version 1) on which I’d like to put an hour meter. I don’t want to go the vibration sensing route. Instead I’d like to hardwire one. My compressor is the type that has the converter inside the case. Where exactly do I connect the wires from the meter? Do I tap into a (+) wire to the motor, and ground the (-) to the case? Or can I wire directly to one of the connectors on the converter? I’m a little confused. The compressor is like many other “shoebox“ style compressors. Thanks!!

Snowpeak  Shroud leak air between barrel when shooting

Hello everyone. I'm a new airgun enthusiast. I've been using gunpowder guns my whole life, so I'm quite familiar with guns.

I fell in love with my friend's PCP gun a while ago and got myself a Snowpeak P35 .22 gun. I got it couble of weeks a go. I have an adapter for a suppressor and a suppressor for it from my .22LR.

When I added a suppressor, I noticed that air comes out of the small holes in the shroud when shooting. I tried to tape the holes shut to silence the gun. But there is no seal between the shroud and the barrel, so air leaks into your face when shooting. Has anyone come across a similar feature? Can the gap between the shroud and the barrel be sealed somehow?

The gun is really nice to shoot. I haven't adjusted it other than the suppressor, except by putting a 2cm extension piece at the back and lightening the trigger spring.
Airguns have come long way from my childhood and are absolute great for shooting and shooting practice.

Best Moderator for Karma SLS compact .25

Hi Everyone, I am usually an Impulse Air guy for my moderators yet I reached out to Donnyfl about a moderator due to them having a part in designing this airgun. Some-1 got back to me & sent me a link to a Ronin.. I did ask for something shorter/fatter seeing how it's a compact & id like to keep it that way. But I figured that I'd ask this community about they're knowledge on this subject. I like the gun a lot & don't intend to pull the mod on & off a whole lot, rather set it & forget it. I also don't know much or understand why on some of the moderators have a .177/.22 or .22/.25 my IA 1350 that's on my .30 FX Panthera Hunter Compact is a straight .30 & quites the bark down quite well.. I would like something that is designed specifically for .25 only to avoid clipping... I just can't see something that's designed for two different pellet sizes working as good as one that's designed for One projectile size. Also I know that this gun is made in China (now) not usually one to go for such things but if they work & are reliable than well you know.. lol all relevant thoughts & comments are greatly appreciated! Thanks, -SF
