Im going from a scott 4500 scba tank to a gauntlet. Do you know a better product/deal?

I’m thinking about a .30 or .35 cal. I like the Aea challengers but looking for some opinions n experiences.

i have a hard time deciding if i shall get a MEG .50cal or not. i really like the concept, but there are a bunch of issues (and experiences of others), that seem to make the investment a silly idea. then again, usually people chime in with rather ok experiences and praise.

15" or 22"? both very loud, i assume.

or rather a HP MAX .50cal and either buy or 3D print a pump-action kit and get a suitable moderator for the same or less money?

what do you all think on the matter?


ps: the purpose is just enjoying powerful shots in a basic target shooting scenario, btw.
pps: .50cal because i have a slug mold for that caliber already,

last night i set about replacing the valve rod and plenum end with the newer ( supposedly improved) valve rod and plenum end but while I was disassembling I noticed the C1 was just hand tight so I would like to know what type of thread locker would be best suited to securing this.

Hey guys just joined this group to get some advice. Been having a bit of trouble shooting recently that being, broken springs, broken off bolts, extremely inaccurate shots, and so on, my first rifle a 600 fps gamo was perfectly accurate with very predictable pellet drop. 60 to 100+ yards no problem. But the gamo's spring broke. Then got a 1000fps unarex surgemax nucleus rail which even with iron cites was no where near as accurate as the gamo, when I tried to cite in a scope it was a nightmare tried for a couple days, no luck there was no consistent pellet spread, which made me doubt my shooting, I would like to think i have some idea of what im doing. Relaxed shoulders, gentle grip, squeezing the trigger, both eyes open, breathing out then shooting at the bottom of my breath etc. Then I broke that rifle too. I don't have a lot of money but I enjoy shooting especially living in NZ where firearms are hard to obtain. Basically im looking for cheap but reliable rifle options. and what I may have done wrong with my last rifles. Thanks guys

When others are talking about ft/lb energy is there a common or specific pellet weight that is common to determine that value? Different weights would change this value. In some instances it can be significant at least in my mind?

I have recently bought an Eun Jin Sumatra 2500R .22 with unkown function.
This will be my first PCP I'll have to disassemble and fix myself, before I've only owned already functioning ones.

The check valve was broken, so first thing I did was to get the Best Fittings foster fill upgrade with the non return valve.
- So atleast now I can fill the rifle.

However, I have now noticed that it leaks from atleast two places, one just in front of the receiver and the other from the upper tube end cap.
- Not too troublesome to fix I hope, there is a good teardown video and I see O-ring kits are available.

Now for the part I fear can be troublesome:
While I had the rifle filled before it leaked out, I tried to cock the action and dry fire.
I tried a few times but I would just hear the action click, no puff of air was coming out at all..

So I wanted to check here if this is a common and easily fixed problem with these, or if I have some real work ahead of me..

I will update the thread when I have disassembled the rifle and can show pictures of the inner parts and maybe someone here can identify something looking weird or broken.

just saw a picture of a guy shooting FT pistol with a side mounted scope and thread said HE WON and after that the side mounted scope was banned ? Why is that different than the "dead Man position ? Looks to me like the same support .

How can you tell if you have a CZ barrel or not? Are CZ barrels the same bore diameter as the earlier Alpha Precision ones? I just bought one with a 2023 manufacture date on it and the bore is .3066 ish. Supposed to have been guaranteed CZ barrel.

Want to find out what is the lifespan (how many shots) on a Fx impact m3 shooting 25 grain slugs at 1000 fps with the macro hammer set at 16 and micro at 3. The valve on line 3.5 with the 1st regulator at 150 bar and the 2nd regulator at 110.

Just a question, can barrel droop be checked with a straight edge? I have access to a straight edge used to check cylinder heads for warp/flatness and am wondering if I could check barrels that way?

I am hoping that that someone can help me find a solution for my FX Crown Mk11 . I can not get pellets speed much over 700 FPS even with reg up to 160 and settings for high power I recently changed the reg and it was Ok for a short while . It not breech seals because I tried it with 2 different barrels .Any help will be appreciated Thanks

I recently bought a gamo swarm gen 3 .22 caliber, after breaking the barrel, I noticed a thin shaving of lead fell and hit my leg after I shot, this seems to happen every 10 shots or so, I'm not real experienced with air guns so I'm not sure what's going on, I just shot 30 pellets and I found about five shavings one was in the front of my scope? Can anybody help me?

If I have a gauge that only reads up to 250bar, am I ok using a 300bar bottle filled to 250 (gauge will read max pressure)? Or should I upgrade the gauge to one that reads up to 300bar (gauge will read 250, with 50bar of unused gauge)?

Am I over thinking this?

I am new to the Edgun Leshiy platform. I love it and zeroed at 40 yards. I have been using the HN slugs which work Great. I noticed the JSB Exact King Heavy Diabolo 33.95 grain do not fit in the magazine. I also notice the JSB Knockouts don‘t fit flush but look like they would work. The Zan slugs stick out about 3 mm. Can anyone recommend the exact pellet size I can use in this gun as well as slugs. I do not want to ruin this gun.

Im tossing around the idea of getting a Saber Tactical double bottle adapter for a compact Impact M3.

Does anyone have a similar setup, or picture of a setup they could share? I'm just trying to get a feel for how wide and heavy a compact would be with double 300cc bottles.

Part of me thinks that I'm going against the build philosophy of the compact; being compact, light and portable. The other part thinks that compact only applies to length and the added shot count might really be a fun thing.
