N/A  What is this magazine?

in the item specifics it say's it is a brand Seneca, and the says made by FX, but it looks to be a AGT mag, info is to vague and not specific, I would stay away from this one.
Agreed!
I never wanted to buy it.
But am always curious about the (some) eBay sellers that have not a clue about what they are selling

If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish, it just might be a fish

What pistol did you shoot today

That’s ingenious of you to…did you have to modify the brass portion of the poppet valve to fit that style seal you made or does it just press in…if it is a drop in style ..don’t stop there I could use 3 of them and you will be handsomely rewarded …lol
It's pressed in, you have to heat it up before pressing, then cut again the sealing surface like this one for my QB78. Henry Ford makes some replacements, but I like to keep em OEM.

N/A  Seen an affordable IZH 46M

Great deal IMHO with all the parts.
I still think the deal I got on a Rink gripped $600.00 98% 46M with all parts in the original box was a great deal. This one looks just as good a of deal for 450.00. Plus I paid it forward at my cost of shipping to some dude who wanted those red and black grips that came with mine.

RTI  .25 Mora and it’s first range trip

@Ricochet,
I am also working on a similar tune for my Epic two using 40g slugs. Do you mind sharing what regulator pressure and barrel specs you are running with to achieve 940fps?
I bought the gun tuned allready. it has a 700mm czub. It belches quite a bit of air, so i imagine the valve is set flush, but i haven’t had it apart, so i cant say for sure.

Reflections

As human beings, we are destined to evolve, hopefully steering ourselves towards improvement. Our lives present opportunities to test our adaptability and openness to new experiences. Yes, even an old dog can learn new tricks.

Only a few months ago I found myself bewildered by the notion of participating in field target hunter class. As very few people in my region actively engaged in air gunnery, I was unaware of a different world that awaited me. A friend encouraged me to attend a field target hunter match at a club in Ohio, where I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a try, just for fun, doubting that I would find it all that enjoyable.

I found myself handling a gun with specific requirements that were different from what I had encountered before: a sub 20 ft lb. gun, 177 cal., loading one pellet at a time., limited to 16 X scope, etc. Despite my reservations, I borrowed a gun from the club and gave it a try.

Hey, I have to tell you, it was hot that day, I mean really hot, shooing in a heavily wooded area the lighting was horrible, the humidity was over the top – the last time I was that miserable was Vietnam. A challenge to say the least….

To my surprise, my initial skepticism transformed into an unexpected appreciation for the discipline, precision, and focus that this style of shooting, demanding something that was definitely outside my comfort zone.

Within a month I acquired my very own equipment, and looked forward to my second match. I did okay, truthfully, I did horrible, but I had already been bitten by the bug. Each time I’ll do better.

It serves as a gentle reminder that we, as human beings, can surprise ourselves by discovering new passions and sources of joy if only we remain open-minded and curious about the world around us.

Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the great people I’ve met, and I thank every one of them for their help and advice.
Great post even in the general section as it gives shooters who may never have had a chance to shoot field target some insight into a wonderful activity filled with great people who are willing to share their experiences!

What are your thoughts on lead exposure?

Interesting post on the difference between lead salts and metallic lead. I like seeing significant ventilation at indoor PB ranges and there is at least one in the area that runs water over the back stop too. That might not be necessary but it seems like it shouldn't cost a lot.

I do not routinely wash my hands after shooting pellets but if I clean my shroud and notice a lot of dust or if I spend a long time sorting pellets I wash my hands. I don't know if it is necessary but my hands look dirty so they get washed.

I read a couple articles. They agree that absorption through the skin is not likely. Breathing lead or eating it seem to be the big risks. But if you have lead on your skin and then handle your food you could inadvertantly injest a little. They also state that most cases are the result of occupational exposure. Battery recycling on other industries involving lead. I did not see any indication that shooting sports is a risk factor.

It seems likely the young man in the video either shot a lot indoors at an unventilated range or got lead in his system another way.

Another pesky Squirrel with the Zelos .25

thanks guys, kind of hard to mount the Pard NV007V to a UTG scope, the scope has the reticle illumination buttons right on the reticle end so the only way to mount is to clamp onto the reticle adjuster piece, I will think of another way to clamp it to stop the cant, but it's still Accurate, I love this gun....
