GX CS4-I shutting off

Not sure if these are good enough or if I need to remove the board. I don’t know where I put the QC tag but I think I still have it somewhereView attachment 578981View attachment 578982

That's the old board, contact GX and they will most likely replace it.

Daisy  Daisy 853c - Repeater

and i have assumed the cocking handle is doing the work
When the cocking handle is released after cocking it falls forward until the hammer engages the sear. When it does it moves the actuator back to align the clip (pellet) to the barrel chamber. The 853/753 sear allows the actuator to go to far back and misaligns the clip.

What did you do airgun related today.

I finally got to shoot my first PCP today! Barra 250z in .25. I got it zeroed in at 50 yards and let my sons have some fun. The Donny FL Yokozuna is sweet, totally tames the crack of the .25. The DNT Zulus 5-20 V2 is awesome! I was able to legitimately zero in the rifle in 3 shots. The daytime performance was good and I am very impressed with the visibility on the night vision settings. It is a blast other than pumping it up with a hand pump, what a workout!!!! Getting it up to 3300 psi had me sweating! I feel like a compressor might be on the horizon if I do this a lot.

If you have the QC tag with date... or take the cover off and get a photo of that board, I should be able to tell you if it's most likely the board.

Shooting Airgun in residential neighbourhood

I grew up shooting Pb’s and the rules were drilled into my head. One rule was if you have any questions about the safety fo the shot you want to take, don’t take it.
Prior to this hobby I shot archery. A lot. Several years ago I had bac surgery and had to start all over again with rebuilding the muscles to shoot again. I backed my bow off as far as it would go and took to the back yard shooting into what I believed was an appropriate backstop and target butt. All was going well until I triggered my release and the arrow hit way low and left of the but and backstop. Behind the backstop was a 6’ cedar fence the arrow even made it past the fence presumably through the space between pickets. Never found that arrow and have never shot my bow in the backyard again. The cause of the mishap was the string that pulled my mechanical arrow rest into position had broken and I didn’t notice it when I drew the bow. So all the careful tuning was out the window and the arrow was off to parts unknown.
The point is you have no idea when something is going to go hay wire and launching any projectile in tight quarters and proximity to human activity is playing with fire.
I have never and will never shoot in my backyard.

I had a similar experience shooting a sling-bow in my back yard. It shoots more like a traditional bow, less like a compound bow. First shot almost nailed one of my chickens. Haven't shot that bow in my yard since.

Revolver carbine?

I have a "pistol stock" called a One Shot that is designed for Glocks and complies with the law by not actually being attached to the gun. It's molded plastic that just fits very cleanly around the grip and your hand is what actually holds it in place. It works surprisingly well and it also works surprisingly well on a large variety of other guns including revolvers, CO2 revolvers anyway. I don't think it would work well at all on a .454 Casull. If someone were to copy the concept and make one specifically to fit a revolver grip I'm sure it would very well. It's the kind of thing that would ideally be 3d printed.

Despite how well it actually works, I can't really recommend buying one due to the ridiculously high price. They're about $70 and when you handle one you can tell it literally cost pennies to make. If you buy one you'll find yourself thinking, "Damn, this works really well!" and simultaneously, "I can't believe I spent $70 on 3 ounces of plastic."

PCP Rifle  SOLD WTS RAW HM1000x .22 (Allen Z Special)

Hi All,

Have been sitting on this one for a bit and is time to move it along….

RAW HM1000x that I sent to Allen Z to work his magic on, told him no budget and make it shoot….

He installed a 700cc 300 bar bottle, FX Superior 700mm liner in his full length shroud, trigger was polished and set to 6 ounces, probe was massaged and adjusted to seat perfectly, reg set at 145 bar all set in a beautiful laminate stock. Shot count is off the charts and is hands down one of the most consistent guns I have owned (and I have owned/own ALOT)…..

Being the FX superior liner was installed it shoots pellets and slugs (JTS 22.07 are what I am shooting currently). With the shroud it is insanely quiet, like sounds broken quiet!

Ships with one magazine and all paperwork from Allen.

Honestly pricing I am a bit unsure on but throwing it out there for 1500 shipped (have close to double that in the gun, bottle, shroud, liner, and tune) but we can always discuss….

Pics to come, PayPal F&F for pmt.

Overheating power supply, modification GX Nuong, etc.

It would even be cooler if you enlarge the cooling vents on the aluminum cover so that all of the fan blades are exposed. Of course you run the risk obstructing and stopping the fan blades I doubt if your fingers would get hurt from the little fan like that.
I agree, however one runs increasing risk that something will obstruct the fan. There is also a diminishing effect of opening the venting.

You made me think that I have some temperature probes, so if I'm not too lazy, it might be fun to try some experiments with modifications.
