I too am in Texas, and I can tell you it will kill deer and pigs in factory form.Thank you everyone for your input. I’m new to owning an Impact M4 in 35. I just got it From the guys over at Utah Airgun. Kenny was amazing at helping me.
I wasn’t sure if the M4 was capable of 1000fps with 100gr slugs. If not that’s fine. I’ll use it for pigs, coyotes, and fox.
Once again, thanks
Dean
4 is awesome! Excellent shooting yesterday!Nothing today, but 4 yote pups yesterday!
Thank you! I have reached out to PintyTurk73=You cleaned the barrel, so that's good. Check that all your screws are tight also. There is a screw under the picatinny mount that tightens the barrel. If you can,I would remove the shroud & baffles and shoot it to tell if your pellets are clipping? Also get a chrony because just turning the hammer spring in or out will not tell you what the gun is doing. Pinty has been good about answering emails about problems & will exchange your rifle if you can't get it to shoot.
Nothing today, but 4 yote pups yesterday!Thanx! Good luck on your hunt!
Don't feel too bad, tho mine wasn't as expensive, I felt pretty damn dumb at 1 point too. I have an Accutac Bipod that somehow I lost the damn screw that locks in the pan function. While cleaning out the back of my truck 1 day, i ran across a small bag of screws and washers left over from a project a couple of years ago and thought,.....no f'ing way will this fit my bipod. Low and behold it was the exact same size AND length I needed all along...(about 7 months)......needless to say, I'm happier than a pig in.....well you know! LolSoo,in my other thread about my fx m3 and the stripped power block hole that made me disgusted and I stopped shooting for a year or so,let me tell you a little story about today.
I was mowing the yard and noticed that a shingle on the roof was in need of repair so I decided I would run to the Home Depot and get me some sealer for the roof to tack the shingle down better.I jumped in the car and off I went, while I was looking for sealer I passed the nuts and bolts isle and I thought to myself wouldn't it be funny if the power block wasn't stripped but rather the socket head bolt was the issue.I used my phone while standing in front of the nuts and bolts cases to find a schematic of the m3 for the bolt size ,m3x8 if I remember correctly and I purchased a 3 pack of them!
I finally got back to the house ,got the m3 back out and guess what?,the new bolt threaded right up without issue!!!
I just sort of stared at it in disbelief, the wife asked me if it fixed it and all I could say was(I DO NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT)!
LOL so here it's been a year or so being upset over something that was actually nothing but a faulty bolt but it had me thinking I screwed up a 2k plus airgun.
The old bolts thread width was narrow compared to the new bolt, like it was a m2 or 2.5 and not a true m3 if that makes any sense? Lol.
I now feel better but at the same time ashamed that I didn't see the issue over a year ago,lol live and learn.
MAN IM GETTING OLD
Well Golly...it's a mini-me...who ever said bigger is better... never crossed path's with you before...I like it a lot...look's like a good winter project...doing the boat thing now...to bad this state doesn't allow us to shoot fish with a air rifle arrow...my new FX M4 would have that Saber Tactical FX Impact Fishing Kit on itPlease go to the thread (Umarex Notos has Arrive) my mods starts on pg 24 or just search Notos mods or Poormans AP16. Below one of the few Notos pistols I made. I just shot it last Saturday.

I am an Automotive Service Manager and all my techs know I shoot when the weather is good. So when decent "Target" size parts boxes are emptied, they bring them to me before taking them to the dumpster anymore....they know I stockpile the hell out of some decent sized boxes! Lol... They know I LOVE Radiator, AC Condenser, and Control Arm Boxes......Sometimes I take old radiators and condensers home, shoot the hell out of them and take them back for the scrap metal bin.....I have an almost endless supply of "targets" at work....You view each cardboard box in terms of "will that be easily cut into the appropriate size for my target boxes?". I mean, sometimes, it is obvious but other times you have to get out the measuring tape. And most of the boxes are delivered from airgun related purchases ;-).

These may help
you remove the butstock from the tube by pulling straight down on the adjustment lever and sliding it backwards - it should pull right off. The "tops" of the tubes turn to release them from a slot in the stock. They won't come out when the stock is on the tube, as the tabs hit the tube.

The tube tops pull out - I suppose you could carry extra pellets in the field if you so choose to...

Thank you!Thanx! Good luck on your hunt!
The guy that made that leverage extension did a really beautiful job of it. I had to pump mine with my arms and my legs as a kid.
