Ordered Westhunter Adjustable Dovetail 34mm today. Covers me high or low. And I like the colors, blue this time

4 tins of Apolo .30 Air Boss.
Tightly bundled in bubble wrap.
Nary a ding or dent.

Airforce Condor .25 with 19" or 24" barrel used $300-$400.
Hammer, spring, tophat upgrades $150.
Low end compressor $125
Regulator $50

Probably $600-$700

Push 30gr H&N Barracuda at over 1000fps.

Don't need to spend thousands of dollars to build up a highly accurate rifle to take down medium size game.

I would not assume anything. Best get input from people who have take the Notos mod insert out. I do not even have a Notos. As odd as that seems.

I like my AEA Terminator a lot. Been flawless since day one.

But 7000psi is just too far. Engineering to that pressure has too many pitfalls for non-critical products.

AEA is not know own for their dainty light weight rifles. I can just imagine how much heavier a 7000psi rifle will be unless they go with much more expensive materials.

I put about 100 rounds through my freshly repaired FX Boss .30 using QD Magazines. They worked flawlessly. Best bang for your buck in magazines.

Ordered a Discovery HD 5-30x56 PRS Rifle Optics, First Focal Plane scope for my RAW HM1000x.

Originally was going to put a CVLife BearMight 6-24x50 but im putting that on my freshly repaired FX Boss .30.

Had to order rings, I was out of Westhunter Dovetail 34mm Adjustable Rings. I do like the color, order blue this time. I have red Picatinny for the HM1000x.

The Orions are great as well. I have a few for my Dynamic and they work great. My son has some for his Impact as well and they work fine. Orion is also a super nice guy. I went with the QD Fox for my Skout because Orion doesn't make Skout mags yet.

Thank you! I assuming the "small end" is at the top of casing, wide end on bottom/underneath.

The mount from redotmate perfectly fits the rear sight recess and is rock solid with no play. I tried a 3d printed one that was surprisingly well made but I prefer machined aluminum.

lol, ya I could use my HW97K .22 cal. I would have to take it out of my safe and give it some love before using it to shoot rats, lol. My springer has been hibernating ever since I got into PCP. That was my AG journey from the beginning shooting springers.

Think I would stick with the 25.39s , but yes that is definitely good advice and it's always nice to be able to help a friend in need.

Well, for tonight, I will probably bring along my HW100 .22 as a back up. I would rather use my PP700 for its low energy 8ft.lb vs my HW100 of 28ft.lb. Will see how I get on with it tonight.

New to Notos, making modifications, and this forum (1st post!). Newbie questions: 1. Anything else to know/consider when removing the stock insert? 2. Any videos on how to do this? 3. Is it ok to remove the insert (baffles) to clean the barrel - I am aware of the straw trick, but if I am going to be removing the insert anyway... 4. I've seen the YouTube video from RedCorn and his insert. Are the ones from @Firewalker or @TorqueMaster similar?

I understand that I must have 10 posts to contact those members directly. Here's hoping several of you respond to this post so I can thank you/learn more.

Absolutely. But I didn't want to mess with my Impact MK2 as it is spot on shooting the H&N 25gr slugs.

Yup. That PP700 was shooting lights out when I was playing with it a while back. Too many toys to play with especially with my Impact and the M60B. Time to play with this pistol carbine at this barn tonight and let it get some rat-kill.

Also the table it sits on was one i made from a shipping pallet close to 30 years ago and it sits on wheels and has a hole cut in top to hold my tank its a 6.8liter tank. Idealy you want the tank higher than the compressor but i wanted my setup to be compact !nd short

I think the mods I added are all necessary for monitoring compressor health ive only ran my compressor for a 10 min stretch so far so not sure if i need more cooling yet. Time will tell if I want to add more

Pulled out one Dreamline to find the reg is now creeping to the point of max reg pressure after sitting for a while. The other one I was going to try and do the liner clock test and first shots out of the gate were no where near the previous zero. I think I am over this straw liner and paper thin shroud. I have added carbon tubing to the liner and over the shroud, extra liner spacers and still this thing loses poi just sitting in the case. Time to try and rig a Royal style steel shroud with liner lock nut on the end. I am over this lightweight barrel system.
