Well right now I can not afford a Tuxing twin, I wish I could. Maybe down the line. I think the main problem
we that have these smaller cheaper versions of pcp compressors is this. These small compressors are doing
all they can do Work wise. The larger ones can handle this a lot better. The Twin Tuxing maybe is the lower class
big boy pcp, compressor but it should be more reliable with not having to work as hard. That seems to me as
just good logic. When you can buy a Tuxing twin under $400 I,m thinking of some day going that rout. If any here
do not agree with my thinking, please feel free to post your thoughts. I,m a guy that does not beleave in agreement,
for it serves no purpose. But I welcome discussion, because we all benefit from from different opinion. Fly

FWIW, many (most) of my posts and responses are purposely designed to stimulate thought, B; hence why many include . That confessed, few readers nowadays 'read between the lines'.

Please don't consider it criticism that I use your quote in this response as an example that folks 'want their cake, and eat it too', and/or 'eat, and run!'

Motorhead's post above is a good example how some shooting clubs can have $$$ and volunteers enough to distribute the work load enough to offer after-match lunch and/or other niceties without heaping more work on the MD. As to be expected, such niceties are often reflected in match entry fees, even "if or not you choose to eat any of it". Translation- every shooter pays for lunch, including those too under the gun to get back on the road back home to eat what they paid for.

Not having to answer to family myself, I assume those choosing to extend their 'kitchen pass' pay for doing so on arrival home (and sometimes for "some time" later).

None of this is criticism, only observations. And an opportunity to confess additional responsibilities can be detrimental to (my) MD performance.

Think of a tossing a live cat into a juggler's routine ... or TWO.

I'll stop whining now.

I made some positive comments about .177 Norma pellets and then saw a number of negative comments. I went back to my stash, and they are all "heavy" pellets (9.1gr).

I'm not at all experienced with the lighter pellets. Glad to see the results H McN is getting.....

I need more time with their .22 pellets. Every tin of the .177 9.1gr has been clean and well formed.

Thanks I think I have a nice scope and wheel combination for my TX. It is 16x but shorter than my others. So I can see the whole loading port.
The wheel is a Scope-werks wheel for an Aztec scope. But I made an adapter.

I guess now we know the identity of the exploded mystery gun from a few weeks ago…

Ordered, coming Saturday: Saber Tactical 52mm Bottle clamp for the EQ. Got a bipod for it from Amazon yesterday.

Pellets Ordered Yesterday: one box JTS Dead Center 33.80g X .25, 2 boxes JTS Dead Center 25.39 X .25 (squirrels), 1 box AEA Center punch 33.9g X .25. Tuning the EQ is burning up pellets!

From Patchworm: one .25 kit and some patches. I no longer have a string trimmer...and I don't need a spool of line just to make my own version. Hmmm. I guess I could ask my neighbor for a few feet...nah. This be bettah. I've been using my old small caliber cleaning rod and a .25 jag. It works, but I'd prefer a worm.

If you go to a competition of any sort (I have, for decades, raced MC and shot both Olympic pistol and rifle as well as Air gun and the usual NRA rifle and pistol matches). When a person is competing, they reach a point where they wear a "race face". Leave them to their thoughts. I would never dream of asking someone a "bullet drop" Q while on the line. It is your business to know that before setting up.

¿Qué se podría mejorar? Bueno, sí, se puede mejorar, pero en mi caso, seleccionar perdigones, lavarlos, pesarlos y clasificarlos me quita tiempo que podría dedicar a otras cosas. Al final, no vale la pena, y disfruto cuando salen cartas como esta sin planificación, y disfruto aún más cuando los tiradores que dedican parte de su tiempo a preparar todo el ritual obtienen puntuaciones más bajas.
PD: Me alegra que la tarjeta haya quedado bien. No estoy contento porque a otros no les haya ido bien.

I'm all set to smoothen mine out...but I'm having too much fun shooting it (and more squirrels keep showing up daily). I'll get there eventually. I have an old can of Mos2 from molycoating jacketed boolits ages ago. Somewhere I have a dedicated vibrator/tumbler/case cleaner that is black with moly. I'll just toss the hammer in that for a few hours after going over it with my bag of deburr/polishing tricks.

It isn't awful now (out of the box, less than 1000 rds thru it), I just know it can be better...easily.

Good afternoon everyone! I have been M.I.A for a while but glad to be back! This thing is an absolute beast!! It is every single thing I was shooting for (no pun intended) when installing the AAO upgrade to my Texan .457!! I am considering selling my Texan with the AAO kit and ordering one of these things!!! What are y'all's thoughts on this? Should I do it or wait for Air force to come out with the .457 TexRex?

They made good with my order after saying something here. I just placed a order with them now. Hopefully all is well with them now. I will report back when I get my order.
