To answer your question Dartagnon, the air breather hole cam from the factory very rough. I used a jewelers rat tail file to smooth it out as best I could. Not sure if AoA gave it a once-over when they had it in for service? =D

I am going to have to eat crow, the Wildcat is most definitely holding air after AoA service. The inital drop in air pressure must have been due to some settling of the seals after repressurizing gun post reassembly. Feeling a bit sheepish but very happy that the Wildcat holds air.

One other thing to pay close attention to is if you are canting the rifle or not. The scope rail on these Wildcats sit high and depending on the scope and rings you choose it will sit even higher. Investing in a cant level is a must with these, in my opinion.

You should try medium scope rings. This will bring the scope reticle a little closer to where it needs to be without maxing out the vertical limit.

Thank you 30cal, the monopod when fully deployed extends from 2.7" to 3.7". You can also leave the unit "unlocked" and wrap your non-trigger hand around it and variably adjust the height by pivoting the unit manually.
