I like tube guns for the simple fact that I can use a hand pump to fill them just as L.Leon stated. Yes, I have tanks and a compressor, but I find that I don't generally shoot more than 30-40 shots at a time, and for hunting that count is a lot lower.

How long have you had your compressor and how many hours do you think you have on it? Just curious. From what I understand, Todd is a great guy to deal with.

It looks just like cheap cold bluing or a sharpie. See if it comes off, if it does, then it's a sharpie. Sharpies are always a purple-ish color. I don't think it's rust, but I could be wrong.

My F-10 only has a few hours on it. I fill a Guppy and a 30min Scott tank with the F-10 and Omega Air Charger. I switch back forth. Dealt with Tom and Carol a years go when he had the original Shoebox. Then probably 9-10 years later I bought an F-010. It rocks. I have 6 rebuild Oring kits...

I've shot woodchucks/groundhogs with everything from 15 ft.lbs to 50 ft. lbs air rifles. For me, I go for under 50 yard shots and generally aim for the ear with a side profile shot. I shot a groundhog 2 weeks ago at 55 yards with my Leshiy classic which is 19 ft.lbs at the muzzle in .22. Ear...

I glad someone bought it, I always saw it listed and thought, dang, that's a lot of coin, but since it's a Ripley, it's probably worth it. They are nice.
