    No closer to a purchase

I only hand pump. I have a Hill and a asian made hand pump, they both work, but the Hill is better built and smoother. Guns, I have a Leshiy classic that is real easy to fill and a Brocock Compatto (semi-bullpup) non-reg'd version that is also easy to fill. I had many more guns and 2...

Pro's of tube over bottel and shot count?

I like tube guns for the simple fact that I can use a hand pump to fill them just as L.Leon stated. Yes, I have tanks and a compressor, but I find that I don't generally shoot more than 30-40 shots at a time, and for hunting that count is a lot lower.

Omega Supercharger advice to AGN members

How long have you had your compressor and how many hours do you think you have on it? Just curious. From what I understand, Todd is a great guy to deal with.

    What is this?

It looks just like cheap cold bluing or a sharpie. See if it comes off, if it does, then it's a sharpie. Sharpies are always a purple-ish color. I don't think it's rust, but I could be wrong.

    HW95 video

Thanks for sharing Josh. Those HW95/R9s are fantastic. I've owned a few but sadly crossed to the dark side of PCP. Kind of miss the simplicity of springers. Nice videos, again, thanks.

    Omega Air Charger Rebuild

Which Orings are you talking about? Are they the ones that come with the rebuild kit? If so, I can measure mine, if not though, probably can't help you. However, if you do find a source for those parts, please let us. Thanks.

How many people still run a shoebox?

My F-10 only has a few hours on it. I fill a Guppy and a 30min Scott tank with the F-10 and Omega Air Charger. I switch back forth. Dealt with Tom and Carol a years go when he had the original Shoebox. Then probably 9-10 years later I bought an F-010. It rocks. I have 6 rebuild Oring kits...

Woodchucks - only take 'em out >30 ft/lbs?

I've shot woodchucks/groundhogs with everything from 15 ft.lbs to 50 ft. lbs air rifles. For me, I go for under 50 yard shots and generally aim for the ear with a side profile shot. I shot a groundhog 2 weeks ago at 55 yards with my Leshiy classic which is 19 ft.lbs at the muzzle in .22. Ear...

I bought the Ripley Rifles XL25 from AOA

I glad someone bought it, I always saw it listed and thought, dang, that's a lot of coin, but since it's a Ripley, it's probably worth it. They are nice.

    Omega compressors?

I’m actually getting ready to add a filter to mine as well. These are decent compressors for the money.

    Omega compressors?

Hi Erlis, I have an Omega Air Charger and the only maintenance is to turn the grease knob 1 full turn about every 6 hours of use or 1/2 turn every 3 hours. Todd recommends to not over grease them, that can cause issues. I've had mine since September 2020 and it's been great. I only fill my...

Do you Hydro Test your gun bottle?

I brought up this exact topic last year and the responses were, no, nobody had their bottles tested or planned to test them.

    Hill EC-3000 piston-O ring-valve teardown.

That compressor looks really well made and easy to self-service - if you can get the parts. Just like their hand pumps, I bet it will stand the test of time if it's used and maintained properly. Very simple design. Thanks for the video link.

The one I let get away...

Nate, for me (not the OP) years ago we use to shoot them because of the damage they did on the turkey and small game population. But I've learned to respect them, they are beautiful animals and when I see reds around here it puts a smile on my face, just awesome to see. I'm a hunter, have been...
