What ever happened to the Duct Tape Guy? I think his last handle was "DudeImNotAScammer" or something like that. He made some of the most INSANE creations I've ever seen. The duct tape stocks were exquisite! I sure hope he didn't blow himself up... How about "YOdoyle"? Did his forum ever get...

That airgun actually has a gas piston inside and from what you're describing, I'd say that the seal on the piston has gone bad. You can order a piston from Hatsan USA ( https://hatsanairgunsusa.com/ ) and make the repairs yourself. Check out the guy below for lots of good Hatsan vids...

I use SubMOA on iPhone. It was free when I got it a few years back. Easy to use and does all your measurements for you.
