Daystate  Daystate Alpha/Delta Wolf groups, tunes and photos.

Hello everyone! I want to create a thread where people can place there experience, photos, tunes, photos of groups and other information about there Alpha/Delta Wolf's. As im about to pull the trigger on a Alpha Wolf Safari hp with the new 28' slug barrel, I've come through loads of bad post about this airgun. I know the Alpha/Delta is a very capable platform nowadays and i think its deserves a bit more positive attention. After reading this thread about the Red Wolf: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/post-your-daystate-red-wolf-shot-groups-here.715008/post-715650 , I thought lets do the same for the Alpha and Delta🙂.

So feel free to share your best groups, tunes, photos, projectiles, speeds etc... ! For everyone that's looking for information about this airgun.

A photo of a Delta Wolf with the 28' slug barrel and a 700cc bottle that i've come across online.

Im new here btw 👋.

Why does it sit unused...

for me it is the pcp’s. One is for FT, one is for hunting. But most of the time I grab a springer or multipump to just plink around. Mainly because I don’t want to take the time to set up the compressor to fill them.

Also with the pcp’s plinking gets too boring. At the set ranges, they just always hit.

Airgun Technologies  Uragan 2 incoming

got my uragan 2 from Tony also,

mine loves the 32gn javelin gen 2 slugs,
but right now i have the reg turned down
and am running the 26gn fx hybrid slugs at 975fps starlings go.......POP!

i have medium rings on mine,
low was too low to get a good sight picture.

so it probably wouldnt be right of me to tease you with any uragan pictures then, right? ;) haha
I’m tempted to buy an Uragan 2….pics please!
Absolutely I’ll start another thread once I can test out my ammo.
I’m looking forward to it 👍

Thanks for the tip about medium rings I’ll have to order them. I was gonna reach out to Tony next week but need to order rings asap so I can use the rifle when it comes in.

The Uragan is a sweet looking rifle that’s part of the reason I bought it so post away! 🤘 It was a hard decision between carbon fiber and green laminate but went with the latter.

Why does it sit unused...

For those with a collection of rifles and pistols I bet it's not uncommon to have 1 or 2 that get significantly less shooting time than the rest. What is the 1 reason for a rifle you own to collect dust more often than not? For me it is usually weight. As much as I like some of features from larger scopes, adjustable stocks and other things that have a benefit...if it weighs too much at some point it becomes unused. The majority of my stuff is outfitted with irons, or red dots for that very reason. I have 2 rifles with scopes, both are light to begin with, and neither is huge or loaded features.

Congrats, I would call or text Tony with those questions. He was very responsive to my questions and obviously knows the AGT rifles very well. I've got a U2 .25 600mm and haven't tried slugs in it since it shoots pellets so well at my shorter ranges.
Tony’s a pleasure to deal with but unfortunately was real busy at work today so I couldn’t give him a call. I actually never tried pellets with my M11….once I saw how slugs buck the wind at 100 yards I was hooked.

Congrats man! The Uragan 2 should be leaps and bounds better in terms of build quality compared to your M11. Unfortunately I can’t help answer your other questions but I’m sure someone here will chime in. Post some pics of the rifle and groups when you get a chance.
Absolutely I’ll start another thread once I can test out my ammo.

New member - Going to be getting a PCP soon. Thoughts?

Hi saridnour, I went this same route and bought a .45 cal Evanix Rex, put a ATN pro 4k sight on it with a coyote reaper IR light. I’ve been shooting custom made heavy grain hunting slugs and managed to take some deer out to 40 yards! It was pricey but I’ve been nothing but pleased with it. I’ve been thinking about letting it go but I can’t find anywhere to post it and I’m not at the required time for this site but I’m working on it! What do you think a set up like mine is worth?

New member - Going to be getting a PCP soon. Thoughts?

Thanks Max115. I so agree and I think stated similar above. I want a value and will pay through the nose for it when warranted. A value to me is not the same value others will see. Ive learned over the years to spend it once and not by getting something close or hope to make it more. Sort of the reson for the thread here was to set my sights in the right direction. Im a diver (so plenty of HP tanks) and own a number of long guns so have some of the scope/fill options available. I just wasnt sure if the Delta Wolf was overkill for a first timer into tech and tinkering. Seems far more data to learn form.. but who knows :)

AEA  (Challenger ELITE .457) Phenomenal Accuracy for a .457 Big Bore (VIDEO)

This AEA Challenger ELITE .457 is a regulated powerhouse that gets 10+ shots per fill. The regulator actually works, keeping your velocity within a few FPS each time till about shot 7. It's shoots giant slugs at 950 FPS +! Thanks for watching! -Nate

Epic  Epic Airguns Two arrived

BTW i have ordered a case from Danish airsoft brand ASG, the Two should be able to fold up and install in that nicely.

PS. The overall length with folded stock and the moderator adapter installed is 94 CM, my plan is to not have the moderator adaptor installed on the rifle, so i should have a couple of inches of clearance in either end of the case.
But i might place the Two asymmetrical so the stock hinge are very close to the end, it is a solid part i dont think if it get a little knock.

Events  CANCELED: April ASC FT Match next Saturday the 27th

Good afternoon everyone,
ASC will have our next FT match on Saturday April 27, 2024 (the 4th Saturday of the month) starting at 9:00am. This match will be a 60 shot rifle match using 3 targets per lane. There will be offhand and kneeling lanes, with a moderate Troyer difficulty. The only reason I will cancel the match is if it is storming (drizzle doesn’t count)at match time. We had 30 shooters at the February match, so come out for some friendly competition at ASC before it gets hot.

Gates will open at 7:30 for sight in and sign up.
Safety meeting at 8:45. Rifle match to start at 9:00am.
All rifles must be in a case or rifle carrier when moving between lanes.
Please note that it is a club rule that all shooters wear appropriate EYE protection. We don't have extras so remember to bring your own.

ASC Members $5, non-Members $10

Arlington Sportsman’s Club is located at: 11500 County Road 525, Mansfield, TX 76063(Also called Lillian Road)
Thanks,
Jeff Cloud

Epic  Epic Airguns Two arrived

Yes that is also my understanding with the One, lets hope it work out for Epic this time, the One was originally intended to launch first but ran into some problems.
From what i can see in the video it is a entirely different beast than the Two, they dont even share magazines

My Two feel good and look good, not run into any screws like on my Maverick smeared in "call the hulk and the flame if you want to loosen this screw thread locker"

I hope to get some shooting in Monday, 50 M and my usual 86 M distance, i have also put a few tins of pellets in my bag, but focus are on the slugs.
The plan is to shoot circles around various brand fanboys.

Welcome to the forum @dynamischyteit

turkey in KY . nope

just talked with DNR and they said " if we approve Air guns for turkey we are afraid we will find a lot of "Red Rider "wounded birds 'cause people will hear but not read the power reg. And i agree . too bad i see lots of turkey around my area .
That's what happened in California. Lots of sick/infected birds from idiots with the wally world specials thinking they're Jim Shockey.

FX Magazine Comparison - FX Side Shot v. Orion the Iguana Hunter v. QD Fox from Etsy

That mag is copying a lot from my design, I see a few flaws that I already fixed on my mag but I'm not going to share it here. Even the printed surface I'm using was copied.

The strong magnets will help with heavy ammo, the last thing you want is the lid to open because the weight of the ammo.

Interesting enough, most if my good improvements are coming from the feedback I get from you guys, my products are always evolving.

I'm using PETG as the printing material.

I really appreciate the comparison, and I'm happy you are enjoying the latest lid update!

Optics  SOLD Hawke Varmint Scope/PENDING

Selling my used Hawke Varmint 4-16x44 SFP scope. It came with a springer that I bought a few years ago. It's showing some signs of wear, but certainly not beat up. It's N2 filled, fog proof, shockproof, and waterproof. It has the side focus, and is double-braced internally for safe use on magnum power springers. It works great, with clear glass and sight picture. I am including a set of (medium ?) Scope rings that are picatinny/weaver quick release. The turrets have sealed removable caps. If you're looking for something on the cheap for your violent springer, this is the one !! Price is $125 shipped anywhere in the continental USA. Payment is by Postal Money Order, or Bank Check only. I'm in NE Ohio. Thanks for looking.
SALE PENDING.....

RAW Rapid  Sourced BSA .22 barrels from John Bowkett

These are choked right?
BSA barrels are hammer forged and from what I have read they have a taper to the bore. So basically yes they are similar to choked barrels except its over a longer distance than most choked barrels. Thats how I understand it from what I have read on BSA barrels. I cut a BSA barrel down to 12" but I cant remember how long it was but it was 4" plus that got cut off. It was just as accurate with pellets after it was cut down.
