Zoraki with and without scope 10 meter groups

So I was thinking there was something wrong with my new Zoraki as I wasn't shooting as good of groups as I thought I should. So I put a scope on it. I know it looks pretty funky but it allows me to pump the gun easily and the scope werqs quite well. This little 4x32 Simmons does not have too much of a parallax problem at closer ranges. Open sights, in yellow, one pump that's why the there are tears in the target. Groups shot with the scope installed are in red. One group shot on the left with two pumps. These were all five shot rested groups, shot with RWS Meisterkugeln 8.2gr, pellets. I have only tried the Meisterkugeln 7 and 8.2 gr in it thus far.

So there is actually nothing wrong with the pistol, but my eyes are an entirely different matter, as everything downrange, like the target, is just a big blurrrr. ;^) Difference is .168 inch with scope and .68 without.

Perhaps paint the sights with DIFFERENT bright fluorescent colors of nail polish or liquid white out. Couple of simple dots could do.

Don't They have fiber optics like the Hatsans? I would think the new guns would have them already.

I would try the 7.4gr Crosman pointed pellets (not their crappy oversized 7.9gr Super Points though). The 7.9 CPHPs work fine in several of my pistols too.

Looks like the red groups are fine, especially the one on the left (number 6). That pellet is doing well with even just one pump.

Cool to see what other pellets do. Your close by and I'll send you a sample pack of .177, if you want. Maybe you have lots of choices already?
