Scope "cant" (lean), can introduce errors in your point of impact, especially as distances get longer. First I level the airgun. Then I level my scope at the turrets, then site through it against a string which has a weight suspended on it (to confirm the reticle is not out of line with the turrets). Errors are frequently additive where I live, it is rare for me when they cancel each other out... luck of the draw.

I'm not talking about cant. I have my scope and rifle leveled with regard to cant. I have a level on the scope, and the Pulsar has an integral level. The are both synchronized with the vertical hair of the reticle (I did the weighted string thang.) I'm talking about the barrel being leveled on the y-axis (zero vertical angle) - Pitch, not roll.
