Got my Sapsan S in today. Build quality is on par with Taipan Veteran. This DOES have a safety in front of the trigger and it's smooth. The brass components are very nice. Balance is superb and it feels great to hold (I am 6' 3").

The fill port is under the trigger guard and it has a magnetic latch. The probe has a built in foster so no need to get another female 1/8 bsp to make foster fitting! Pressure gauge is nicely recessed and the wood is fantastic. It's a blackish color but brown is available. Magazines are well made and pop in similar to the Uragan.

This is the 2nd gen and does come with a shrouded barrel AND silencer to attach on the end of you desire. I took the shroud and silencer off and later added a DonnyFL since I live in the woods. I included pictures of the air stripper located in shroud and baffles in silencer.

They also serialize the barrels. Since the barrels are made in-house by Zbroia, the serial number on the barrel is also the serial number of the rifle as seen in the pictures.

I will post more pictures once I get to shoot it. Mine is a .25 cal. So far I am VERY pleased. 😊

Air volume is 300cc and it can take 300bar fills. The mags are metal.

There appears to be ZERO flex. I am amazed at just how solid, light, and easy to shoulder it is. I really dig the 2 part stock in this format. The side cocking lever area has LOTS of thick grease for the square carriage that slides along the barrel to glide on. The air tube is stout and dated with "born on date"?

Thanks.

I was thinking the tube looked bigger than that, in comparison to the tube on the Vet. I would have guessed more than 300cc.

Sure looks nice though. if, as you say, on par with the Veteran, all those calling for a forward cocking Vet might finally have something to scratch that itch.

Seems like I remember checking the other Zbroia models a while back and, in .22, they seemed like they were mostly 30-35fpe guns. Curious if this newer one can get up and do 40-45fpe in .22.

Let us know how it shoots.

So I got some time with the Sapsan and I really enjoy it. I took some photos while I adjusted the power.

Here is the power adjust. You do have to remove the stock to adjust.

Here are the trigger mechanisms:

Looks like we have a plenum here:

The stock has nice brass inserts that line up with brass threaded bodies. Very nice.

And here are 5 shots @ 52.8 yds. There were small wind gusts. FX 33.95gr @ 875fps avg.A joy to shoot!

Does anyone have idea about Zbroia sapsan Gen I regulator adjustment tuning?

I would like to tune my regulator.but if I tune it for 18.13 grain pellet i got 840 fps only.i want to increase 900 FPS What shall i do?

It should be a combination of increased reg set point and higher hammer spring tension, and they need to be in balance. I would guess that a set point in the 130-150 bar range might be reasonable starting point, then see what incremental increases in hammer spring tension produces. The rifle might not be capable of tuning to 900 fps, while producing a reasonable shot count.
