“JCD”Rob, I’ll let you know. Don’t think you’re much of a .177 guy but you can certainly explore the one I have on the way.
I been looking for a .177 Carbine/Bullpup. Remember I tried to get your Mutant .177. Been thinking of tricking out a 1720T, but this with mag and anti double load would be sweet. Want something in the high teen’s (or low 20’s) for FPE though.

Out of the box I’m getting 850 FPS with 10.3 grain pellet. 920 FPS with 8.4 grain pellet.
This is with the spring all the way out. It is possible to increase spring pre-load, just have not played with it yet.
I can’t wait for warmer weather so I can shoot outside."Osprey1"Looks like a well made airgun, what kind of velocity are you getting for out of box performance?

I can’t wait for warmer weather so I can shoot outside. So 16.5fpe with minimum pre-load sounds real good. Plus I would imagine it shouldn’t be too hard to bump up the reg just a bit to reach 20fpe

The .22 cal I absolutely love it!!! It’s accuracy is amazing. At a moment I am working on a new shroud/silencer design for it as for my liking it’s a bit too loud, specially for backyard shooting but so far, very impressed with these guns.

I have too many .22’s. I’ll check back from time to time as I’d still like one in .177.

Definitely minute of squirrel (or rabbit, pigeon, rat, etc). I’m certain you can even tighten that group up the more you shoot, and in better conditions.

Once the regulator breaks in and some pellet sorting will tighten the groups up even more, great shooting!!January 10, 2018 at 12:51 am LinkNice group, as said above, once the barrel is leaded in and the reg sets, it will be better, now I really want the .177 cal as well. How do you like the balance, cocking and mag cycle of it?

I’ve ordered adjustable butt plate that I plan to attach to it. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192421726040
Cocking is very smooth, I also like how you can observe pellets in the mag from both sides for any deformations.
I have hard time determining when magazine is empty. There is slight resistance as pellet is pushed into the breech and I have to feel for it when reloading.

Yes I agree with you about the mag, the probing of the pellets are very light, so you have to feel when the mag is empty, also been able to see the pellets from both sides, gives you an opportunity to reload without taking the mag out as you shoot.
Please keep informing as you progress with it, very intersting.

how many FPS & what grain pellet does the 22 Cal shoot at ?January 10, 2018 at 1:51 pm LinkMy .22 cal is shooting JSB’s 18.13gr @ 910fps and with the 15′.89gr 960fps pellets on pellets @ 35/40m, it is just a bit too loud for my liking as I also like to shoot at my backyard but I am working on it, so far, it’s a very nice rifle for the price, in par with most of the high end guns out there.

Sounds like you have the long version. Specs say 40j for that (which you are dead on) The short in .22 is 30J (which would be 22fpe)
