YouTube banning & demonetizing channels - join FairTube to fight for what right!

If you gents remember about a year ago Youtube decided to hammer the airgun community. My channel was hit as well as many others. Most of the channels were re-instated but the revenue sharing has never been the same. My channel does not exist to make money but a lot of the content that you guys love does need a revenue stream to exist. Jorge from the slingshot channel has decided to form a Youtube union of sorts, support this project by sharing his pages and video

Thanks

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. - Edmund Burke

Jorge is a mainstay of Youtube. If they don't start treating people like him right he will move to another platform and take his audience with him, including me. There's no reason why someone else being offended should be able to threaten your livelihood in such a dictatorial and opaque manner.

Sure, no one cares if real idiots are banned. But who gets to decide who gets banned and/or demonetized? What criteria is used? These kinds of questions need answers.

I have a feeling they (youtube) will say don't let the door hit you on the way out.

All "gun nutz" are the same in their eyes.

And what platform...full30....viemo.....both are very small next to da tube.

It's not just a problem with YT, but with the Silicon Valley tech industry's general mindset towards anything involving guns and hunting (among other things). Unfortunately, it's the center of where most of the internet technology comes from, and they have tremendous influence and deep pockets to push their agendas against anything and anyone they do not like.

Trust me, if their numbers start bleeding enough, they'll sit up and take notice. The airgun crowd isn't very big, but we're certainly not the only demographic they've upset.

If you read between the lines, this sounds like a socialist ploy to organize / unionize, as if in the name of freedom of expression. But there are references to "if you are with us" and "power in numbers" that have been trotted out over the past 1000 years or so.

ie airgunners (or any gunners) are not likely on the fave list of German union organizers, or at least be vastly outnumbered. In Italian, capiche?
