Your RAW and Sling Selection

Howdy,

I have a .30 caliber RAW on order and Emailed Martin that I wanted it to be setup so I could attach a sling to it. I am having the Picatinny Accessory Rail added to my RAW and asked Martin to add whatever else would be needed to attach a sling for my long walks in the woods of Maine when I go hunting.

So, what sling would you recommend if you have added one to your RAW?

I would appreciate any suggestions or responses to my sling questions.

Nothing wrong with a single point sling and they are legal in some ( Field Target) shooting sports. To me even easier to wrap around your elbow and carries just fine. RAW seems to have two options for mounting a sling - and I'm just looking at the web site so do check if needed- The "single point sling attachment"( comes with rear screw but "I" would have martin drill it and you'd want that done before the finish is on the stock?) which attaches to you accessory rail and would also allow a bi-pod to be mounted ( right?) and their "picatinny accessory rail adaptor" which again.

Do look at some single pint sling set up's they work rather nicely.
